5 Wild Threading & Spa - Eyebrow lamination - Hair Salons Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

Beautiful salon and the owner did an excellent job on my lash lift and tint. The price was good.

I have been going to 5 wild for eyebrow threading for years; after coming to this new location I am more inclined to get additional services done. I also like that it is in a more populated shopping center, it allows for more walk-ins. The shop is so beautifully laid out. I am a return customer for a reason, the care and attention to the service is always valued. read more

I've been following Sandy for years, tried and true. She is hands down the best in Ventura County. She always listens to my requests and delivers perfectly every single time. I have very sensitive skin, and her soft touch makes all the difference. I've never had any irritation or bad experiences. My eyebrows always come out looking amazing, and I get compliments on them constantly. Even when I moved to San Diego for a couple of years, I wished I had her closer. I'm so happy to be back and to have Sandy taking care of my brows again. Her new location in the Janss Mall is super convenient with plenty of parking and barely any walking. The salon is always very clean, sanitary, and beautifully set up. She and her staff are so welcoming and professional. The other girl that does threading there is also great! I'm picky about who I trust with my brows, and I know if either of them are working, I am in good hands. I don't have anything but good things to say. Sandy truly exceeds all expectations. read more

I went in about a few days ago to get my eye brows threaded and tinted. Firstly, my stylist tried to finish her eye brow threading job when clearly both her eye brows were UNEVEN, and when I brought it to her attention she blamed it on the eyebrow shape WHICH SHE MADE. It doesn't help the situation that she looked completely fed up and made me feel uncomfortable about asking her kindly to even out my eyebrows. Then when she put on the eye brow tint, she put it on so messy and put the dye on parts where my eye brow hairs were nowhere near!! In addition, I went in on Tuesday June 24th, and today is June 27 and the tint looks practically faded and back to my original color!!! I am completely unhappy and now she is stuck with uneven eyebrows and no tint. This is not the first time I was left unhappy. read more

I had an amazing experience with Sandy at Wild Hair 5. She did my facial and my eyebrow threading, and everything was so calm, gentle, and relaxing. From start to finish, she made me feel completely at ease. Sandy is incredibly skilled and attentive ,she explained each step and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. My skin was glowing afterward, and my eyebrows turned out beautifully. Her energy is so soothing, it truly felt like a little self-care escape. Highly recommend Sandy if you're looking for someone who is professional, kind, and amazing at what she does. I'll definitely be back! read more

I've been to multiple threading salons and this one is the best by far in quality of service. I have sensitive skin and sometimes break out after a threading session, but don't have any issues when I go here. 5 wild hair new location is ambience is very calming, is truly inviting and relaxing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a clean, stylish, and well-organized space with calming decor and soft lighting. The soothing music in the background created a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind. The seating areas were comfortable, and the overall vibe felt luxurious without being overwhelming. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating an environment that helps clients feel pampered and stress-free. Definitely a great place to escape and enjoy some quality self-care! I recently tried the HydraFacial treatment, and I'm really impressed with the results. The procedure was gentle yet effective, combining deep cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration all in one session. My skin felt instantly refreshed, smoother, and more radiant right after the treatment. It helped clear out impurities without any irritation or downtime, which I really appreciated. Sandy was knowledgeable and tailored the treatment to my skin's needs. Overall, the HydraFacial is a fantastic option for anyone looking to boost their skin's health and glow with a quick, relaxing procedure. Highly recommend Sandy and 5wild hair salon! read more

5 Wild Threading & Spa - The new location right by sky zone! - Hair Salons Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

We have known and patronized Sandy, the owner/operator of 5 Wild Hairs for almost 20 years, 2 great children, and Rick, her wonderful husband. But that friendship aside, 5 Wild Hairs offers a broad menu of personal care options, all performed with a keen eye, real talent and a welcoming new location in the Janss Mall just up from Coldstone Ice Cream. We, Debbie and I, try to maintain our appearance, but our loyalties in our efforts go only to those who offer consistently excellent work and with whom we sync on a personal level. Sandy and her 5 Wild Hairs staff hit the mark, and regularly exceed it. Highest professional (and personal) marks! read more

Absolutely love this place! So people know this place for threading but they don't know that Sandy also does a lot of other services. About 6 years ago I came here a lot for eyebrow threading and found it high quality and affordable. During COVID I stopped getting anything done for a while. Then, I started having significantly more gray hair of course and started dyeing my hair/getting reddish highlights at salons. I loved being able to cover my grays but no matter what hair dye I tried, I kept having an allergic reaction (including Madison Reed). My friend who is a dermatologist recommended henna to dye my hair instead but no regular salons do it so I asked for recs on Nextdoor and one of my neighbors recommended 5 Wild Hairs! I remembered the owner is Indian so I thought ding ding, this makes sense that they would know about henna for hair! I called and talked to Sandy, the owner and she told me all about henna and that people generally don't know about it or don't use it if they don't like reddish color. She mostly does henna hair for her Indian clients but she looked at my similar thick dark East Asian hair and said it would work perfectly to cover my grays too as long as I'm ok with reddish tint. Well, the reddish color is what I've wanted to get all along! So she's been doing my hair for a few months now and let me tell you, henna is a game changer. My frizz and dandruff are gone. My hair is smooth, has a reddish tint in the sunlight, and my grays are covered. I still get my threading done there too. Couldn't ask for better. She also is now offering a bunch of other spa services and packages for an affordable price. Go check it out! read more

I called in the morning to confirm that she accepted walk-ins for eyebrow threading and provided a 30-minute time frame that I was planning on dropping by. Unfortunately when I got there, she had stepped out for lunch and I had to wait in the parking lot for at least 30 minutes. However, she was at least apologetic about making me wait. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded by some intimidating people in the past, but she was really nice! She even took the time to re-thread some areas she had missed. Initially, my eyebrows looked a little more thin than I was used to and I still had to go back with tweezers to clean up some areas she had missed. However, after about 1 week my eyebrows have thickened up and I like the way she shaped them! Price is pretty standard ($14). It was an ok experience, but I probably would not go out of my way to come here. read more
