I requested a hair styling service (I struggle to curl my own hair and style it, I usually stick to blowouts and straightening). My hair lasted all night despite being done early in the morning. The salon itself is spacious, and I was offered a coffee while my hair was getting done. The price was $150 for me, but I do have long hair (about elbow length) so that felt fair to me. I've been going to this Spa for years now to get a message every now and then, especially after a long day of photographing a wedding. I thought it was about time I gave them a great review. So the first thing I really like about this place is that I don't feel uncomfortable when going here. For most men, you don't want to be seen in a "Beauty Salon and Spa", however, they have the spa separate from the salon, with a dividing wall between the salon and spa, therefore, I never get that awkward look from female clients. I always get quick, prompt and friendly service from whoever is at the reception desk. I am some one who likes a little more pressure during my massage than the average person, and Lisa sure delivers. Before starting, she always ask what my problem area's are and ensure to pay special attention to that area. I always get a deep tissue ending with Lisa walking on my back, which she does very well. I've only been to a few other places, but this by far leaves me relaxed and eases any pain I have. They have great specials during the week, I think it's only $65 for a full hr. No matter what price I've paid, I always get the same massage and level of attention and detail. I hate places that do a half ass job because you got a special or a Groupon, which this place does not. Overall: Excellent massage, Comfortable environment and friendly service. My stylist was the owner of the salon...Wally. He was amazing. Hair washing could have been better by the assistant. The person washing didn't really get to the scalp much at all. Saw me right on time and asked me multiple questions to make sure he knew what hairstyle I wanted. I have thinner and straight long Asian hair and wanted aabove the shoulder with side bangs. Since this salon has had a special on a blow dry and I have trying out different stylists and have not been satisfied with their work. Today I found a winner. Tara did a fabulous job on styling my hair. In fact, I was so impressed with her knowledge I had her cut my hair as well. I have gone to the same hairdresser for 20 years, but there was something about Tara that I trusted. She did a fabulous job. Next I will go to her for color. She is very experienced, but just moved here from the Bay Area so she is building her clientele. Well, she can add one more person to that list. Tara is not only experienced. Worst Massage I've ever had. I get massages every month at legit places and this was by far the worst massage I've ever received for multiple reasons. Side note: $20 Asian massage parlors can do better. Yes, I had one of those too. My masseuse, who I would bet my first born child, was not a certified massage therapist. For $80 I would only expect for her/him to be. First off, She was late for my appointment. Secondly, she had absolutely no technique. She was just rubbing my back with no intentions of trying to find any trouble spots or knots. Not following any kind of routine or rhythm. Almost like she was kneading dough. Not very relaxing at all. I also must note that when the forearm is used too much, it's a cheap way to massage. She was using it like a rolling pin up and down my back and limbs excessively. Not to mention, my spine which is very uncomfortable! Lastly, even though I was not exactly enjoying the massage, she didnt even do it for the whole time I paid for! I brought a friend who was visiting from out of country because my husband gifted us with these massages. She wasn't too impressed with hers either. Needless to say, I will never go back. read more

Went into the salon and made and appointment with Christine Hajdu for a cut/color. She worked her magic on my (really dark) hair and I left the salon with the best highlights I have ever had! They blend super well and she lightened it quite alot for the summer. My hair grows extremely fast and it is always hard for me to find the time to venture in to the salon for maintenance so I was so happy that she highlighted it in a way were the growth isn't obvious. I am not a huge fan of this salon but my amazing stylist, Melissa Kelly, moved here from another local salon that has since relocated several miles away to a much smaller location. The stations in Beau Image are really close together and the place is noisy. Melissa Kelly is one of the best stylists in town and she's not only friendly but adorable too! She is a brilliant cut and color artist who keeps my very curly, frizzy, hard to work with hair, looking smooth and shiny with Brazilian treatments. My husband and son will only get their haircuts with Melissa. She also chose a station in this busy salon that's located in a wide, open and almost quiet area which is helpful. For color, cut and expertise, Melissa is one of the best! I'm not a fan of the actual salon itself, but you can't top Melissa's expertise and her new, larger, quieter location! I absolutely LOVE Beau Image. The owner, Wally, has been cutting my hair for 15 years now. I followed him until he arrived at Beau Image and was overjoyed when I heard that he would be buying the place. This is a VERY classy spa. Everything is always super clean and organized. The service I receive is always stellar. A few months ago a friend offered me a free haircut if I would be his model. Totally screwed my hair up! Wally was more than happy to fix me up. I also buy my mom spa days here every year for her bithday and Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it!
