Brittaney is a passionate artist with brows. I have never left not loving them. She pays attention to detail, a perfectionist, and really loves what she does. She's kind, warm and makes me laugh. Your brows shape your entire face and I only trust in her! Also she's affordable and a true female entrepreneur. Her studio is soooo well done so cozy and feminine read more

This review is all about Lizzie! I haven't been to this specific location, but I see her at her spot in Montrose. Honestly, I don't know why it's taken me this long to write this--people need to know how amazing she is. She just gets it. She can instantly tell what my body needs, and every time I leave, I feel lighter, looser, and way more flexible. I've had plenty of massages from different places over the years, and nothing even comes close to hers. Her lymphatic massages are next level, and when she adds body gua sha... wow. Pure magic. Even her regular massages are incredible--she's basically a muscle-healing angel. And on top of all that, she's the sweetest person ever who is super easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. If you're thinking about booking with her, just do it. You'll thank me later! read more

I LOVEEEEE Face & Soul! Lindsay has been doing my hair for over 5 years and is incredible!! And I've been going to Kirstin for my brows and lashes for 2 years! Amazing everytime read more

Face and Soul is hands down my favorite place for eyebrow lamination. Brittaney is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she's also an amazing human. From the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for. She takes her time, explains everything, and the results are always flawless. My brows have never looked better. You can tell she genuinely loves her craft and her clients. I wouldn't trust my face with anyone else! read more

Julia is incredibly talented. I have gone to an insane amount of nail shops locally and all over California and I can guarantee you will not find someone who cares for your NATURAL nails as much as Julia does. $65-75 for a gel manicure seems pricey but my nails last almost a full 4 weeks. If you go to a quick "in and out" nail shop every two weeks then you're paying the $65-75 anyway and your nails will be damaged. With Julia there is no lifting, breakage or dulling. Her prep work is out of this world. My nails have never been in better shape. She follows the curve of the natural nail, never any lumps or bumps. It's really nice to find someone who cares about the integrity of your nails. The salon is absolutely adorable & welcoming. The girls there are super friendly & kind too! xox read more

Face & Soul Studio - Smooth & strong w/ delicate hand painted stars :) - Skin Care Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

You know, Some people live to take revenge through talking crap on Yelp... And other people, like the ladies at Face and Soul, live to help others feel beautiful and be happy. This spot has best vibes, hands down. !.. & it's a one stop shop for all your nails, hair, and face (facials, brows and lashes) needs. I've never had a negative experience here with any of the gals. I've only received high quality services and great energy. Also, the salon's aesthetic is on point. I have so much love for the Face & Soul Family!!! read more

I've been seeing Julia for my nails for over a year now. She's simply amazing. My nails used to be so brittle and thin and i couldn't have long nails. Now they're long and strong and they rarely break. I wouldn't dare cheat on her by going to a crappy salon. She really takes her time to make sure that they are perfect! I really appreciate the attention to detail! Since Face & Soul opened I also started seeing Brittany for gua sha facials and it's the most relaxing experience! Every time I see her she switches up the products she uses to suit my skins needs. Although I have a hairdresser already, I know that if I had to switch Lindsay would definitely be my next go to gal! read more

This salon is an oasis in the little town of Thousand Oaks, a happy getaway from my day-to-day grind. It's a three in one stop shop. I come here for all my beauty needs. How could everyone not love the open concept of the salon. It is also so clean in their place. I could literally spend everyday there and give them all my money. Everyone is friendly and personal. I've made some really good friends with these amazing women that work there. Ask for Julia if you want the best manicure in town, Brittany if you want the perfect brows or Lindsay if you need some fresh new locks. They are all seriously the all best!! read more

Face and soul studio is my favorite place EVER! Julia, Lindsay, and Brittany always make my time there so special. They are all kind and really care about what you want and help you achieve your beauty GOALS! Julia: every since I started going to Julia my nails are healthy and have never looked better! She got me to stop using acrylics and showed me how great my natural nails could be. She makes sure that you walk away feeling happy and confident. I will NEVER trust anyone but Julia for my nails. What Julia does is truly art. No other nail salon could put as much detail into a single fingernail like Julia does. Lindsay: for a while I never had a set person to do my hair because I could never find someone who understood my wants and needs. Once I started going to Lindsay everything changed. She's the only person I trust her to do my styling, cuts, bleaching, AND my need for having crazy hair color. She is genuine and makes me feel comfortable to be myself. I never walk away with bad hair. Sometimes I walk out not wanting to ever wash it just because how PERFECT it looks. Brittany: I go to Brittany for my brows and lash lifts. Before Brittney I never trusted anyone to wax my brows. I only would let myself tweeze them. After my first appointment with Brittany I knew I could never go back to do my own brows. They were so perfect! She gave me the perfect brows, natural but shaped. After leaving Brittany I feel confident and beautiful. I never feel the need to cover my face with makeup after she's done with me. She is funny and caring and makes the appointment feel like a fun little party! All in all, face and souls has the three people who I trust most with my beauty wants and needs. It's a one stop shop! Beautiful and organized space with people who care about what they do. read more

Brittaney is the most welcoming and warmest person ever! She explained every step of the brow shaping process to make sure I was comfortable and has made me love my brows!! I love the ambiance of this studio, it's so inviting and beautiful. There's so much talent within this studio with services for brows & lashes, hair, nails, and massage. So happy to have found my new go to studio. Also love that you can make appointments online and the contactless payment options. read more

After going to a big, noisy salon for many years I am so happy to have found the calm, intimate and warm vibe of Face & Soul! Kirstin did a full set of the most natural and beautiful lashes! She's great at brows too as you can tell by looking at hers, but I didn't get mine done since they're tattooed. She has such a gentle touch and is quite intent on getting your look perfect. I had the same experience with Lindsey when she cut my hair. She was not going to be finished until we both were happy with the results. My boyfriend loves my haircut...finally!! All the gals are friendly, have a great energy together and seem to be committed to giving their clients the very best. read more

Brittaney and Lindsay are amazing. I love to come here and get pampered. I was super nervous to get my hair cut and colored after a bad experience and Lindsey made me feel so comfortable. I couldn't be happier with my hair. Lindsay has always done such a great job on my lashes, brows and facials. I have another appointment in August and I cannot wait! read more

I've been going to Julia for my nails for the past & months & go say i'm happy is an understatement! I had worn acrylics for 10+ years & was tired of how horrible my nails would look after just a week & how often they would break. From my first appt we started to grow my short & damaged nails out, & i am sooooooo happy with how far they have come! Not only do my nails look amazing when i leave the studio, but for the entire 3 weeks before i go back in. haven't had a single crack, chip or break in my nail since coming to her! I would recommend her to ANYONE. read more

Face & Soul Studio - natural nails! - Skin Care Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

The entire Face & Soul team is absolutely wonderful. This is your one stop shop for all things self -care. Julia, Brittaney, and Lindsay care so much about all of their clients and provide unique and incredible experiences for everyone. I've been exclusively going to Julia for my nail care since last July, and I will never go anywhere else! The attention to detail and quality of the service she provides is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. You absolutely have to check out these awesome ladies and their amazing studio! read more

You know, I'm gonna be honest here. Brittaney is a good esthetician and I feel that she really does care about her clients. Overall, not the worlds best facial ever but good. I feel she tries to do the best she can and seems like the leader and true heart of this place. Lindsay... her work is ok. Not amazing, but fine. You can see her work on IG and judge for yourself. Honestly, I feel there are better people in the immediate area, but if you want to just do everything in one place then Lindsay is fine. Julia... ok, this is where I have the problem. I don't think Julia intentionally tries to be mean or rude but she does come off this way. She is very money hungry... her work is very good, but $62 for a PLAIN gel manicure? Who do you think you are? There is a place RIGHT down the street from you who does JUST as good of a job as you and they charge $45 and are WAY friendlier. Julia CONSTANTLY raises her prices AND she does dismiss certain clients she deems "unimportant". I also think it's poor business practices to think you're "above" doing pedicures. Keep up that attitude and you won't have any clients eventually. I have heard from a few previous clients of Julia's that she is a nail tech they no longer wish to support, myself included. She also is earning a poor reputation at other nail salons in the area. She gives face and soul a bad wrap. Sorry, but it's honest. Whether I have the money or not, I cannot support someone like this. Overall this place is fine, but I personally prefer to support businesses that don't cherry pick clients. Which seems to be a trend here. In response to business owners reply: 1. I didn't say I had a "horrible" experience. I said over all it was fine and gave you three stars. I wouldn't say that's "horrible". 2. I don't use my real name on Yelp to protect my privacy, as it makes me feel more comfortable to leave honest reviews especially at places I still visit and may like some aspects of the business but not all. Like your facility. I go to you Brittaney occasionally, but not Julia anymore because I don't care for the way she does business. Of course I haven't been to you recently as you have been out on maternity leave until recent. 3. I feel your response was rather immature and not the proper response to a loyal client of yours, who followed you and supported you in your new business venture. May this be further evidence in how you girls can show favoritism towards only the clients you like and not be fair to all clients. Thanks for trying to call me out though. I will now decrease my rating from three stars to two and I will be removing myself as a client from Face and Soul moving forward. Good job! read more

Love this salon! Lindsay has been doing my hair for two years and does an amazing job! Love the location and the rest of the staff!!

Such a hidden little gem in Thousand Oaks/Westlake area! The aesthetics is so cute and I have found some solid face/beauty products through them. I drive from LA to get my facials, eyebrows, and eyelashes done here with Brittaney and Kirstin. Everyone is professional yet warm. Brittaney is hands down the best esthetician. I've been following her work for awhile and was obsessed, so naturally i had to book an appointment when i was in town (traveled from Nevada) and i was soooo beyond sad when i got my brows done because they were so amazing that i just knew at that moment i could never find someone else to make my natural brows that much on point. If you live in the area please do yourself a favor and go to her, you seriously won't be upset. And not only does she do AMAZING work she's hilarious and the sweetest person i have ever met!!! There's a reason her books get filled quickly so hurry up and schedule an appointment! read more

My wife's nails are always stunning. When we go out, she gets compliments about them. I know when my wife's just been to see Julia, because she comes home so happy and self confident. She does a little spin and flashes her nails as if say, look at me, I'm so so glam! And you know what? She is! My wife also raves about the facials she gets from Brittaney. I can't tell you what Brittaney does, because all I see is my wife, and her beautiful complexion. read more

I wish there were more stars I could give this AMAZING girl gang. Not only are all 4 girls the sweetest things ever, but they constantly go out of their way to make each and every client feel like a queen while at Face & Soul. When i started going to Julia almost 3 years ago I was recently in an accident which resulted in 2 surgeries and a cast from my finger tips to my neck on my left arm... and let me tell you, Julia went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I was still able to get my nails done comfortably and have the perfect one of a kind manicure. Brittaney has completely transformed my once shapeless brows into perfect works of arch's Face & Soul is truly a pampering experiences that also feels like hanging out with your girlfriends, what more you could ask for read more

Face & Soul is a great one stop shop for all of your beauty needs! I have seen nail witch Julia for 2 years and she is wonderfully creative and attentive. She does all natural nail care and I am constantly asked if my nails are real (always are). My manis always last at least 3 weeks (no chips!) and have been through it all (scrubbing, cleaning, vacation-ing). There is nothing Julia can't do and her work is better than any LA places I've been to. I'm always excited to see what she does to my nails! Kirstin and Brittaney are also my brow girls and are sweet and do a great natural shape. They always take the time to clean up my brows and never rush through like some places can. They're gentle and always have me feeling relaxed despite getting my brows waxed! I would highly recommend anyone come to see any one of these ladies! read more

I have had the pleasure of being a client of all 3 of the Face & Soul ladies, although Lindsay is who I most commonly visit because I keep up with my hair more often than facials/nails. Lindsay is an AMAZING stylist/colorist! I have 3 close family members that have been doing amazing hair for 30+ years that have all done my hair for free my entire life, and when I found Lindsay my hair game completely changed. My hair comes out the exact way I want it every single time, I don't even have to tell her what I want anymore - she just knows! She is worth every penny, and every offended family member (woops!) Brittaney was the first person to show me that I wasn't doomed to have uneven/acne-prone skin for the rest of my life, that I just needed to have someone care enough to show me a regimen that works for ME specifically. The amount of time and care she puts in to learning your skin is so refreshing, not to mention she does incredible brows. Julia is a wonderful nail artist (emphasis on the ARTIST part!). She truly makes beautiful designs that I have never seen anywhere else. You can show her a picture from Pinterest and she will take that concept and make it 1000x better. She is pricier than a regular nail salon, but especially for special occasions she is SO worth it! She did my nails for my wedding and asked to see a photo of my dress, and matched the vibe of my delicate flowy dress to the vibe she envisioned for my nails! Who takes the time to do that!!! Moral of the story, these ladies go above and beyond for their clients. I feel valued, loved, and cared for in this adorable little salon. Highly recommend. read more

Brittaney has been waxing and shaping my brows for 2 years now and she has COMPLETELY transformed them for the better. I recommend her to everyone in the area ! I have had the pleasure of knowing all three of these beautiful ladies for years now. I've gotten to watch them grow and perfect their art in the field they are so passionate about! I got to watch them come together and open up the most ideal salon. Brittaney has completely saved my eyebrows over the years. Anyone else has made me break out or butcher them. But Brittaney has helped them become so full and beautiful. She's also amazing at the lash lift and facials. Her attention and care for your skin is unreal. She will always know what it needs. Lindsey is purely magical when it comes to hair. From Color to cut to styling. She knows how to do it best. Every one of her girls that leaves the chair is rocking a beautiful head of hair! And last but not least, my girl Julia. She's a true artist! I have been going to her the longest, since she was in beauty school. She always strives to find fun new designs to do to nails. And prepping the nail is a games changer. She focuses on cleaning and caring for the nail to help them grow and be the healthiest they can be. All my friends are jealous of my nail game. No one can compares to Julia! read more

This is the worst place you could go, the nail artist there is the most rude person I have ever met. I've been going to her for over two years and she sends me a message saying I'm not going to be seen anymore. Don't go here unless you want to be treated like you're worthless. read more

Brittaney was great! I treated my wife to a treatment by Brittaney and she couldn't have been more happy with the amazing service.

Brittaney is seriously phenomenal!!! I found her while looking for a makeup artist for my wedding and couldn't be happier with my experience with her. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally and I have had bad experiences in getting my makeup done before, so I was a little nervous. However, upon meeting her I felt completely at ease - she is so friendly, hilarious, and really made me feel beautiful! My makeup on my wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to her expertise!! All of my bridesmaids adored her as well, and she is SO reasonably priced for the beautiful work she does :) I've since gone to her for my eyebrow wax, lash lifts and facials and will continue to come back!! Face & Soul Studio is a safe haven for anyone that gets nervous when it comes to hair, facials, brows or nails. They are ARTISTS. They are PERFECTIONISTS. And they are GIRLBOSSES that are polite, kind and professional. I have only had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and Brittaney (so far) and I can honestly say that they are the dream team. Not only do I go to Lindsay and Brittaney for anything face and hair, but I also was fortunate enough to be surrounded by their soothing energy on my wedding day. Brittaney did all of my bridal party's make-up, including my own, and Lindsay did all of our hair. For anyone that has gotten married before, you KNOW the nerves are on another level. But with these two ladies taking care of us, I never worried that the final result would be anything less than perfection. Their calm vibes, ability to stay zen in the most chaotic of situations and endless passion was the best thing I could have ever had with me on that day. Apart from trusting them with one of the most special days of my life so far, I trust them to make me look presentable on a daily basis. Lindsay is the only person I would ever trust to chop off my hair after we spent 1.5 years growing it out. Brittaney is the only person that has gotten my brows to look flawless from the day I leave the studio to the day I come back for my next wax. I live in Santa Monica and drive all the way to Thousand Oaks because they are worth the damn drive (even if it's bumper to bumper!). I haven't gotten in to see Julia yet because the girl is booked solid, BUT this past time when I was in there, she worked with me to get an appointment that lined up with my next hair and brow appointment so that I could make it all happen in one day. If you follow her on Instagram, which you should if you don't, you will see how much effort she puts into her client's manicures and the amount of detail she puts into the designs they choose is insane. I can't wait until my appointment to get to experience this nail witch in action! A million stars for Face & Soul and the ladies that make it the dreamy oasis that it is. read more
