And she does a consistently great job with my brows, is very easy to schedule with and so enjoyable to banter with. My Eyebrow Microblading Experience at Jonelle's Brows at Bigoudi Salon I did it!!! After posting my question about it and receiving SO many incredible responses, I decided to bite the bullet and have my brows microbladed! I am SO happy with the results! Microblading is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. It is a new semi-permanent tattoo technique that fills brows out or reshapes them by drawing on tiny lines that look like individual hairs. It is done with a hand-held tool -- it looks like an X-ACTO knife made out of needles -- that puts pigment into the skin, but doesn't go as deep as a normal tattoo would. Before it begins, a topical numbing cream is applied. I felt only minor discomfort at times and there is no down time. Jonelle has been in the beauty industry for 20+ years, including the account coordinator/trainer for Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her specialty is natural brows/makeup. She is very easy on the hand....and feels its always better to do less, than more, as you can always go back and add in what is necessary....but you can't take away! Jonelle typically charges $400(will be going up to $500 after the new year), however anyone that mentions my name, she will do for $300!!!!! You can reach her at 818-448-3805 and see some of her other work at https://www.instagram.com/jonellesbrows/. read more

I don't like being the only bad review in a sea of great reviews, but my experience is valid. I saw the perfect score on here, and that there was a voucher out so I figured I would try getting my brows done since I'm trying to find an eyebrow place closer to home. I was there right on time and waited 20 minutes. I would have appreciated a phone call saying "Hey I'm running late. Please come a little later or let's reschedule", but that didn't happen. I waited and waited. When I finally was called in, no apology was given. I don't know if it's that I don't have the right look, or the fact that I was a voucher customer with why there was no f***s given for me...a potential client... I waited 20 minutes for a 15 minute waxing session. When the session was over there was no offer of applying ointment over the redness, and this was the first time that I have had to brush off the hairs off my own face... Yep, I had to do that. I've had my brows waxed since I was maybe 14 and have never, ever had the aesthetician not do that. I did them in front of her hoping she would realize that she should be doing that, but she showed no interest. That being said, Jonelle shaped my brows well, so no complaints on the style. That and there being a parking lot are the only reasons why I made this a 2 star review and not a 1 star review. This was the first time in my life that I have never given a tip. Based on my experience I would not return or recommend. My search for an eyebrow waxer will continue as I'm sure that I can find someone who can make a nice shape and be respectful of their clients time. read more

Couldn't be happier with the results! Grew out my brows to fix all the bad waxes and overplucking and went to Jonelle as a first time client. She accepted my appointment as a walk-in early Wednesday evening- Jonelle herself is very sweet and takes the time needed to patiently achieve the perfect result. She does them arched amd thick (but not too thick like some of the artists at Anastasia brow bar. ) I am really so impressed with the result, haven't had a perfect eyebrow shaping at a salon in a long time (years) but this one was PERFECT. 5 stars for result, customer service and salon environment. read more

I followed her here from Bigoudi Salon. Brows are so personal, so once you find someone good you better follow them. Jonelle is Anastasia trained so you get celebrity worthy brows without having to make the trek to Beverly Hills! She never judges you for walking in with crazy brows, and she teaches you how to fill them in correctly! It's a lot easier than you think too. I'm basically going to have to follow her until she dies. read more

I've found my brow girl!!! I've been getting my eyebrows done for years and I went to the sweetest older woman who had years and years of experience and always made them look fabulous! She sold her salon and retired several years back and I was devastated! Since then I've tried several brow people in the valley but I didn't LOVE any of them so I decided to just kept trying! I was giving up hope but decided to give Jonelle a try based on her Yelp reviews! I made the appointment over the phone and I easily got an appointment for the following day! I had some slight anxiety about getting them done at a new place even though I saw pictures - just because I don't want anyone butchering my eyebrows! And... I LOVE the way Jonelle did my eyebrows! Jonelle was SO detail oriented and a real perfectionist! You can tell she really agonizes over them and goes over them again and again, plucking a stray hair here and there and trimming them just a bit more! I love it! That's what I'm looking for in a brow person - not just someone where it only takes 5 minutes! ...And the results are absolutely perfection! I don't have super long eyebrows so that I look like Waylynn Lucas! They're even! They're not too thin! And most importantly they're the perfect shape to my face! I know it seems so mundane but it's not! It really makes my face look so much brighter and more polished! If you're looking for a great brow person, go see Jonelle! I promise you'll be so happy with the results! I am!! And she's got a new regular customer in me! read more

Fantastic job! I went to see Jonelle in Thousand Oaks and she took her time to frame my brows to my face. She is highly skilled and framed them perfectly to my features. It was a great pick me up to my everyday routine. My husband also thought they looked amazing. I highly recommend her. Her reviews support her work. Thank you for doing such a great job and taking pride in your work! read more

When I moved back to the valley, I needed to find a new eyebrow girl. I was even willing to drive up to Santa Barbara on the weekend to get my brows done with my usual girl, but she only works during the week. I was so apprehensive about letting someone else touch them because I love my brows (full brow stencil for Anastasia), but not all Anastasia trained estheticians are good. I found Jonelle and saw she was Anastasia trained with nothing but praises said about her right here on Yelp so I decided to take the plunge after SIX WEEKS of not getting my brows done. Funny story: she used to be the Anastasia trainer for LA, Santa Barbara and Orange County and SHE TRAINED MY GIRL. Needless to say, my brows came out perfect as usual and now I don't need to drive over an hour!! read more

I used to see Jonelle at Anastasia's for a long time and since she had left I have watched my brows get destroyed by many different people. I am a guy and like masculine and thick brows that fit my face. Somehow, everyone I go to turns my eyebrows feminine and thin. After a few botched jobs I gave up on doing my eyebrows. I'm so excited to have found Jonelle again. She is a true artist with an amazing eye for shape. She is a real gem with an amazing personality. I love spending time with her. She always puts a smile on my face! read more

I couldn't have been more pleased with my makeup on my wedding day. It was perfect. I didn't even have to touch up once. As a performer, I have had my makeup professionally done a ton and I have to say Jonelle is one of the top makeup artists I've ever had. Makeup is one of the most important aspects of feeling your best on your wedding day and thanks to Jonelle I felt beautiful. She is also extremely reasonably priced and worth every penny. Not to mention, she is such a cool, down to earth, authentic person that I got to spend the morning of my special day with. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart read more

Jonelle's Brows - Brows on "fleek" as the kids say. - Makeup Artists Near Me

Jonelle was really nice and made things feel easy. I tried henna eyebrows for the first time along with my Groupon deal for my eyebrow shaping. Henna was alright. It initially felt really good because of the contrast to my natural brows but it didn't last. I don't intend on getting it again just because it would only last about 2 weeks. As for my eyebrow shaping, it came out alright and she did a thorough job but I think I will just go back to threading. read more

First of all, Jonelle is an EYEBROW GODDESS! I had been growing out my eyebrows for awhile... suffering through the torture required for growth time and I was in the market (seriously shopping) for a new brow artist because I didn't want my time growing to be wasted on a bad brow job!!! I ended up finding Jonelle on yelp and even though I was apprehensive to give up my brows to just anyone; Jonelle completely won me over with her amazingly warm personality and contagious laughter. For the first time ever, I had fun getting my brows done and she gave me a little makeup lesson after!!! The girl is hilarious, even if you don't need your brows done... go meet Jonelle. read more

Love Jonelle! She has been doing my makeup for as long as I can remember, for any and every special event in my life. She was the first person I ever let touch my brows (I was reminiscent of a young Brooke Shields), over 10 years ago, and to this day I couldn't be happier, and still thank her. Absolutely LOVE Jonelle! She is a master with eyebrows and mine are the true test. I came to see her with what I have always called my "invisabrows". Im really fair skinned and if there were any brows there, you could barely see them. I was a little nervous to try microblading but after a long list of great reviews, I gave it a shot. Jonelle explained every step, custom mixed the color for me and when I was done, I was stunned. For the first time in my life I had natural looking eyebrows. I get compliments from strangers and have sent many people to see her. I got them done over a year ago and am seeing her next week for a tiny touch up. I'm thrilled and am so happy I found her. I'd recommend her to anyone. read more
