I'm not big into makeup, but there are times in a girl's life when wearing makeup is a must - and it must be done right. That was me two weeks ago. I needed a fresh, natural look for a professional headshot photo shoot. I found Brittany through these fantastic reviews on Yelp - and I'm here to tell you: Brittany is now my go-to makeup girl! Even though I typically wear glasses full-time, she had a little fun and added some baby lashes to help my eyes pop through my glasses. When I got to the photo shoot, the photographer had me take off my glasses for a few shots - and fell in love with my no-glasses look (thanks to Brittany!). I ended up getting two photos from the shoot - one with glasses and one without (see my Yelp profile picture). Thanks, Brittany! You totally rocked my world! read more

Brittany is incredible! She not only did an amazing job on my face (as a bride) but also helped me out when my makeup artist couldn't do my makeup for my wedding! She saved my day. I told Brittany I wanted to be natural yet still look like a made up bride and she delivered! My makeup was gorgeous and she made me feel like a princess. Not only did my face look flawless but my individual lashes lasted until 5 days into my honeymoon! Brittany is worth every penny and all your trust. She is so kind and very unobtrusive when she comes to your space, and so talented. She made sure every lash and my airbrush makeup color was spot on. If you need makeup done for any event, reach out to Brittany. I will be recommending and hiring her for all my events. Thank you Brittany! read more

You will not be disappointed with her work and she makes you feel so comfortable. She listens to what I'm envisioning and makes me look and feel so darn good about myself! I really cannot recommend her enough! She and her team couldn't have made my experience more pleasant with their professionalism. Her communication is so wonderful from and it really proves to me she cares. I already can't wait to see how beautiful she will make me feel for my next event!! read more

I had the good fortune of hiring wonderful vendors for my wedding weekend, and both Brittany and her assistant Jessica are at the very top of that list! Brittany transformed regular me into an incredibly glamorous, blue-eyed, babe of a bride who felt like she could be a runway model. I'm generally a confident woman but WOW I could have taken on the WORLD on my wedding day! I still looked like me - but my best features were enhanced - and beautifully so. Brittany achieved a natural make-up look that I dreamed of leading up to my wedding, and a hair style that I had been lusting over. And both my hair and make-up looked just as flawless at 2am during the after-after party so I'm eternally grateful for that as well. Also, I'm Italian and it's very difficult to cover up my dark under eye circles on a good day, so I figured a week of sleepless pre-wedding planning nights would be a significant challenge but Brittany (miraculously) airbrushed them away for a seamless, elegant look. Countless thanks, hugs, and high fives to Brittany and Jessica for making me and my bridesmaids look and feel stunning. Brides: planning for your big day can feel like an endless stream of Googling various vendors and comparing rates and reviews, but your search for the ultimate hair and make up artist stops here...Brittany's talents are unparalleled! read more

Expensive and poor customer service. I asked Brittany for a full refund of my $200 deposit when my wedding date in August 2020 changed by one week and Brittany was not available. She said no due to her policy and I accepted that but asked that she apply it to a bride trial instead since I couldn't use her on my big day and I wanted to get my money's worth. Nope. She refused. She said I need to use her company on my wedding day even if she was unavailable. Who does that? I told her that I was using someone else and that I would like to apply it to a bride trial which was totally reasonable and unfortunately, that was too much to ask from Brittany even though the wedding was 10 months away. Now I understand that all she cares about is the money. read more

Brittany was the best decision I made in selecting my bridal hair and make up for my big day! She is friendly, skillful, talented and professional. I trusted her completely throughout the wedding process. She really listened to my vision and mastered my natural beauty look. Not only was she amazing, but her entire team made my bridal party look flawless. Everything lasted the entire night and I was completely stress free! I 100% recommend Elite Makeup Designs for any special occasion. You won't have any regrets! read more

Brittany has been doing my 2 daughters and my makeup for various events over the past 14-years. When it came to my daughter's wedding it was the easiest/best decision we made hiring Brittany for the special occasion! She is the sweetest person and makes you feel so comfortable in guiding you through the process! read more

Brittany is absolutely incredible! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! My family and I have used Brittany for over 14 years for many of our events and she truly makes you feel like family. Brittany recently did my hair and makeup for a photo shoot for my new website. I can't highly recommend Brittany enough!! There are so many things about her that make her the talented artist she is that really sets her apart from the rest. She immediately put me as ease with her smile, warm personality, and sincere heart. At the forefront, Brittany has in mind to give you an experience that will exceed your expectations in so many surprising ways. She discussed with me the exact look I was going for before even before starting on my face. Brittany provided such a natural look, that still make me feel "made up," but nothing about the look was "over done." I felt like myself, but with such a natural, beautiful finish. When I saw myself in the mirror, I felt like a million dollars!! I recently got my photos back and I was BLOWN AWAY at how amazing both my hair and make-up looked in the photos. It was EXACTLY the look I was going for. In fact, since Brittany was with me the whole day, she did 3 different styles to go with my 3 different locations. Each style complimented the location to a tee. She was always there to touch me up and continued to make me feel beautiful. Brittany is ONE IN A MILLION and I am recommending her to all my friends. You can rely on her to give you an experience that words cannot describe. I will DEFINITELY be calling her for all my makeup needs in the future. Thank you, Brittany for your talent and you care and concern in making me have a day that I will never forget!! :) read more

TALENTED & LOVELY!!!Brittany and Jessica were a complete dream to work with at a photo shoot we did this weekend in Malibu. Brittany and her team were absolutely amazing! The first time I had my hair and makeup done by them was at my sister in laws wedding and after seeing what an amazing job they did, I knew I had to have them for my own wedding. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, even thru the crazy dancing, which is a miracle in itself. Everyone was also on time, prepared, professional and best of all fun! I cannot speak highly enough about Elite Makeup Designs. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that booked her services and I was so in love with my hair/makeup that day, I booked her for my own wedding the following year. Brittany and her team cranked out 10 bridesmaids, a mom and a grandma like it was no challenge at all. Everyone absolutely LOVED how they looked. The whole team really understood how to balance making you look your best but without overdoing your makeup/hair to the point that you don't even look like yourself. During my trial, I showed Brittany pinterest pics of what I wanted and she understood exactly what to do. When she had me look in the mirror, I didn't have to request a single change. I felt more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! I researched a lot of hair/makeup teams and not only do I feel Elite Makeup Designs was the best quality, they definitely had the fairest pricing as well. So many other businesses charge $20-30 extra for airbrush makeup and another $20-$30 extra for fake lashes; Brittany includes those in her service pricing and her prices were STILL lower than the others... On that note, I've seen artists who use airbrush and it either comes out cakey or the color doesn't match the neck and chest. I've had Brittany do my airbrush makeup 3 times now and it always came out so perfect. She even gave my cleavage a little shadowing-boost ;) .... And regarding false lashes, anyone who's ever had them knows these are a must. Brittany uses the individual clusters rather than the large strip. This means that she can add as few or as many as you'd like. I even kept mine on through the night AFTER our wedding when we saw Coldplay! Just as important as the quality of service, was the team's friendliness and kindness. I hadn't slept well the night before which caused me to wake up very stressed. Brittany was so kind and reassuring, I instantly forgot how tired I was once I got in that chair... although my mimosa probably helped with that too ;) Having a hair and make-up artist with a bright smile and friendly personality makes the morning that much more fun! read more

I recently got married on 5/25/14 and Brittany did my entire wedding party's makeup and hair. Everyone looked amazing! I was extremely happy with my hair and makeup. Brittany was so easy to work with through out the entire process and made the day of my wedding very special. Brittany stayed a few hours after everyone was done for touch ups and even took some first photos of my new husband and I immediatley after we got married. Brittany is amazing and I can't wait to use her again! read more

Brittany did my make up for a Christmas party and it came out exactly as I wanted. Amazing results and she is a true professional!

I did not actually get to work with Brittany, but still wanted to give her a great review! I had originally reached out to schedule a bridal trial the same day as my engagement shoot. We had made an appointment but unfortunately my shoot got cancelled due to rain. My schedule is all over the place but she continued to work with me to find a time for my trial. I ended up booking another artist before my trial with Brittany but I still wanted people to know how attentive and responsive she was! She was always professional, clear, and responded within minutes most of the time! I will definitely be keeping her in mind for future events where I will need to look great :) read more

I am so happy to share a review of my makeup & hair artist, Brittany. It was like a blind date. Brittany just knew how to make me feel and look beautiful. After just one conversation on the phone, a few emails, and pictures of me and my ideas... Brittany nailed it. Her communication, attention to detail and punctuality gained her mondo points right off the bat. Besides her awesome talent as a makeup and hair artist, she has such a kind heart, she is gorgeous and a wonderful, funny storyteller. Rest easy knowing that you made the right choice. I definitely did. Brittany, Thank you for making my Elopement in Santa Barbara extra special. read more

My Sister used Brittany for her wedding hair and makeup. She is absolutely amazing! I decided to do the trial first to get an idea of what it would look like. I showed her a couple pictures of how I wanted everything and she got it spot on! The day of my wedding my hair and makeup was even better than the first time. My guest told me I was the prettiest bride they had every seen. If I ever need a makeup artist again I will definitely be using Brittany. Presented the wife with a professional makeup artist job, since she refused to leave the house without professionally applied makeup for a television taping we were both going to attend. I wish I could put up her photo (she's refusing again), but what I can say is that Brittany is a kind, calm and great professional who made wifey look stunning. She was prompt coming to our house, had a million supplies with her (or brands, I guess), and anything the wife wanted - it was available. Wife's natural beauty + Brittany's celebrity makeup skills = total arm candy! read more

Brittany is the best. Very sweet and nice. I have never worn make-up before since Jr or High School. So when my wedding day was approaching. I began to get nervous and started to ask and look online for make up ideas. I stumbled upon elite make-up design. Read her reviews and was impressed by all her reviews and not one had anything bad to say. So I contacted her put in my name and info. Thankfully I was in luck and she said she was available for my wedding day. I booked a trial the Friday two days before my wedding and she took time to listen and took note that I said I had never worn makeup. She made my make up look as natural and soft. The day of my wedding she made me look so beautiful. I felt like a princess. I would call on her if I ever have anything going that I needed my make up done. Plus she is super sweet and very professional. read more

Brittany did my hair and make up for my wedding as well as my mom and the hair of my bridesmaids. I am kind of person who doesn't have any idea about the make up but she was so professional and she gave me helpful suggestions. I never wear makeup and both me and my fiancee wanted the makeup to look as natural as possible. Brittany did an absolutely great job to do that. My bridesmaids and I received lots of compliments on my wedding day. I was a little worried about my hair because I have thick hair and I didn't want to have puffy hair after 1 hour dancing and sweating but both my hair and makeup lasted from when she applied it in the morning, well into the night. She even helped me to find my bird cage veil and hair pin. Brittany was very receptive to all my requests and questions, before, during, and after the session and she finished everything on time for my wedding day that was really important to me. Also, she did my make up and hair for my engagement shoot (I did my engagement shoot at my trial session) that turned out gorgeous. She is very friendly, sweet and professional. Thanks so much Brittany! read more

Brittany is the most talented and amazing makeup artist. Not to mention the absolute sweetest! I had tried three other makeup artists before my mother miraculously found Brittany on Yelp. I am extremely pale and the other makeup artists used colors that were all wrong for my skin tone. Just when I decided that I couldn't handle another bad trial and that I would do my own bridal makeup (which would have been a HUGE mistake), Brittany saved the day. Her work speaks for itself, and she is the kindest and sweetest person as well! All of the bridesmaids looked stunning and all five of us could not be happier with our makeup. In fact, one of my bridesmaids just got engaged and loved her makeup so much that she stated she will be using Brittany for her wedding as well. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing makeup artist and person, thank you for making my wedding day such a beautiful experience for all of us!!! I highly recommend Brittany!!! She is simply the best. read more

Brittany is amazing! She is so sweet and such a talented makeup artist. She makes you feel at ease and you leave feeling like a movie star.

If I could give Elite Makeup Designs 10 stars I would! Brittany is a true artist, using a clean face and clean hair as her canvas to create beauty. Brittany has done my hair & makeup several times and each time it's been perfect. Never too much, but always just enough so I don't get washed out in pictures and my hair doesn't end up in a pony tail by the middle of the event. She and her team a joy to work with and are true professionals. I recommend using Elite Makeup Designs for any special occasion or just when you want to feel a little extra beautiful! read more

PLEASE, do not even bother searching elsewhere. These ladies are the BEST. They are super easy to work with, professional, sweet, and more than anything INCREDIBLE at what they do!
