For the trial, I went to her house, paid her cash, and thought I had a great experience. Upon leaving the trial, we confirmed date and time of the event and I had no worries. Day of I still hadn't heard from her 10 minutes prior to when I was expecting her. I decided to text her the room number we were getting ready in but heard no response. I waited 10 more minutes, then decided to call her. My call was ignored after two and a half to three rings, twice. At this point, I caught the drift, and wasn't going to waste any more time waiting around. So I did my own makeup even though I didn't have much packed (because I was counting on her showing up.) Bottom line, Taryn, this was so unprofessional and just mean. It would have looked so much better on your part and I would have way less animosity if you had just called me or texted me and owned up to the fact that you either double booked yourself or forgot. S*** happens, but then you clean it up. Wasted my time and money. I hope you learn from this because it's not looking good miss girl. *Pics of email convo 1 day and so on after our trial July 1st*

Suzy stepped in last minute and truly saved the day. She was fun, professional, and had such a great vibe--exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding morning. I wanted my makeup to be more natural and she did a perfect job of making me feel glammed up for the special day but still look like myself! I randomly found her online and visited her shop a couple months before to do a trial. I felt so pretty, I booked her on the spot. We used airbrush foundation at the trial, but on the day of my wedding, it wasn't setting properly, so she washed it all off and started from scratch with liquid foundation and the result was fabulous.
