Anyway I somehow managed to leave with something I only realized later, in different light, that I wasn't too enamoured with sadly. My lesser half returned from yet more international business travel and was equally perplexed as to what had happened to my hair. Soooo - I rang the salon and they were closed so I left a message. I rang back when they were open and apparently the Owner had rung me (and she had but I hadn't seen it due to a dodgy phone). They immediately booked me back in with her. I booked Caitlin to do my makeup and my mom's for my wedding day and she went above and beyond the duties of a makeup artist. Caitlin and her team are such a pleasure to work with! I first met Caitlin when I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding, where she happened to be doing hair and makeup. I've had bad experiences in the past with the HMU artists that were brought to help out, but the two who did my makeup then were great and I looked fantastic!! Caitin and her team were also so fun and personable and really set the right tone for the morning of the wedding. Caitlin was the only vendor I knew I would definitely go with from the start of my wedding planning process and that's still true. She was easy to work with and very straightforward about pricing and services, which are very affordable compared to much of what I've seen! The makeup/hair trial process was also great - it was initially difficult to find a time we were both available (hello 2022 wedding scene!) but she was extremely collaborative and helped me figure out what I wanted, since I am not a huge makeup or hair person! The day of the wedding (May 2022): I had sprained my ankle the night before my wedding and was pretty bummed the morning after as we got started on the bridal party's hair and makeup. Caitlin and her team were so sweet and cheered me up and helped shift the overall vibe! I loved my hair and makeup - even the stress acne was covered up perfectly! - as well as everyone else's! I hired Catlin for my wedding on 10.15.23. She did my hair and makeup, my MOH's hair and makeup, and my mom's make up. She did a wonderful job! All of our hair and makeup stayed put all day! She also did a great job listening to our preferences and feedback which resulted in us getting the exact look that we were looking for! I had a small bridal team and only my MOH wanted her hair and makeup professionally done, so I appreciate the fact that Catlin's contract only required the bride's hair and makeup as a minimum. read more
