Needed an updo for a wedding and she serviced me well. Just brought in a photo of the hair I wanted and she did well. I got plenty compliments on my hairdo that wedding. She's very friendly and I would definitely come to her again if I have another formal event in this city. read more

Veronica is an awesome hairdresser! I have been going to her for the past 3 years and she always listens to what I want & gives me beautiful haircuts. I trusted her to cut off 12 inches after I had my son and she gave me a beautiful A-line bob. Currently she gave me a gorgeous subtle Balayage on my natural brown hair-which I love! My lob has much more dimension now. I highly recommend her. My mom has a ton of thick hair and she also have her a beautiful haircut last time she was visiting! read more

My mom waited almost an hour for the stylist. Was told by Veronica to come on a day they were not open. Could not get a hold of her. She apologized and said they were not open. What a waste of time. Thought I was going to do something nice for my mom's birthday. Not that day I guess. read more

Veronica is a five star hair stylist! Not only did she give me a great pixie cut, but she showed me how to style and take care of it. Love it!!! read more

Let's begin with my background on my hair: I had been growing it out as long as I possibly could but was in search of a hairstylist because I've never really had one since I usually get my hair cut by a student at a beauty school or get the razor comb myself and hack away lol But I think it's about time I got a professional cut and I'm in need of changing up my look with balayage highlights. I need those lights my life lol Thankfully, my coworker recommended me to her hairstylist and lo and behold, her name was Veronica and she has her OWN YELP PAGE! You know a hairstylist is DOIN' IT when you can literally yelp her and her reviews are phenomenal lol Anyways, she had an opening when she's usually booked weeks out in advance and I snagged it! I came to see her on a Friday afternoon and she is very sweet, funny and friendly. It's helpful to bring photos to show her what you want and she can explain the styles as well as recommend what she thinks would work for you. About 2 hours later, I had ~4 inches chopped off with balayage highlights and toner treatment added. We had a pretty good conversation about our lives and she also introduced to me high end shampoo and conditioner products. I got the travel kit of the Enjoy products for $15 and LOVE it. I'm only using Enjoy shampoo and conditioner now and I can't go back to anything else. It's really THAT good for my hair. I highly recommend Veronica. She has an Instagram too if you want to see her work. It's been exactly a month now since I got my new hairstyle and the cut is looking naturally great and my balayage highlights are on point. Thank you! :D read more

I've been searching for a while now for someone that can do edgy asymmetrical bob. So so glad I came to Veronica, and she happened to have a cancellation at the time I called. Yes, I was a little nervous on my way there but my instinct was telling me to just go for it. I'm so glad I did. Not only she's a very professional, friendly, funny and talented person? She made me feel very sexay with the hair cut. I couldn't thank her enough. I'm so I'm love with my hair. I just found myself a new read more

Veronica really listens and provided really great feedback when I was trying to choose between cut and colors. I have a mixed hair texture and have walked away from a lot of haircuts feeling disappointed with the result. With Veronica, I walked away so happy with my cut and color. She was also easy to talk to and my experience was enjoyable. I will definitely return. read more

Veronica is really good at what she does! I moved to the area looking to find a new hair stylist- and coming from someone that did my hair for 6 years, I didnt just trust anybody with my hair. I was a little bit hesitant with having someone else touch my hair, but I was open to the idea- since I was referred to Veronica by a friend who had awesome hair. I first went it for a consultation and to meet Veronica. The great thing about her is that she is very knowledgable, but at the same time actually listens to what you want and gives respectable feedback. She would tell you if it could be done or if it will damage your hair. I then went in for my actually appointment- I was told that what I want done may take a few tries but she said she'd be able to TRY her best and get the color I want. My situation was an ombre look from DARk, dark hair. I actually had to see her for a second time where she toned down the color and made it more warm and not to of an orange color. I am excited to see her for my next appointment where we will be lightening my tips to make it more of the color I originally wanted. Hair is a process, but Veronica is very patient and honest with her clients- that's nice about her! read more

Veronica was referred to me by a friend after I called her crying that my hair was messed up by another friend! She told me " my girl can fix you!" Enter Veronica! She did a phone consultation, told me what to do with my hair before I came in to see her, and rearranged her schedule so she could squeeze me in. Today, I went in to see her and she did an amazing job fixing my problem. I walked out happy and looking much better. I highly recommend going to see Veronica, no matter where she is working.... Moorpark or Camarillo. read more

I noticed that Veronica had exceptional reviews on Yelp. Plus, her 17 plus years of experience and her Vidal Sassoon training truly impressed me, as did her photos. My mother was seeking a new hairstylist and colorist in Camarillo and I was more than eager to suggest Veronica. Well, she definitely didn't disappoint and exceeded all expectations. Firstly, my mother said Veronica is thoughtful, kind, patient, and sweet. And as for her skills, they were beyond compare to my mother's previous stylist, basically all her previous hair cutter and colorists. Veronica concocted a truly lovely medium/light brown for my beautiful mother that just lit up her skin and gave warmth and color to her complexion. Veronica utilized many excellent products from Europe to blend different color levels to achieve this color magic. She certainly is more than a beautician, perhaps a magician :-) And as for my mother's trim, Veronica was able to take her slightly thin hair and made it look so much thicker and voluminous. I could not recommend Veronica more highly. She was quite a Yelp discovery and I suggest that anyone, male or female, run to her when you seek a true artist and sweet, thoughtful, and gold hearted gem of a woman. Definitely 5 STARS! read more

Will always style your hair in curls or waves at the end to cover an awful and uneven haircut. Has lost her touch and is a hot mess.

Veronica did an amazing job with my hair. I had gone around 10 months of not getting it done because of covid and she took me where I wanted to go. Highlights, balayage and cut turned out perfect. Would definitely recommend ‍ read more

Veronica gave me a fabulous haircut! I brought in photos of the style I wanted, and she delivered! As an "older" woman, it has been difficult for me to find a stylist who actually understands how to achieve a short, hip haircut. I am so happy with this cut! Thank you, Veronica. read more

My hair was in desperate need of some love and attention. It's been about nine months since I've had a hair cut and my hair has been professionally colored only once and I wasn't very impressed. I went on the hunt for a new stylist and thank goodness I found Veronica! I left her chair feeling amazing! I did a half way decent job of explaining what I wanted and she knew exactly what to do. She gave me a balayage that was so blended and natural and the color was perfect. She is so talented and knowledgeable. Thank you Veronica! Don't hesitate to let her do wonders to your hair. read more

Veronica is the best! She listens to what you want and gives great suggestions. This is my second visit to see her and I'm always pleased. My hair feels great and healthy after seeing her. I get the bayalage and wish I had known of it sooner:) I don't have to get retouched as often which is great for me! Also Nancy did my gel manicure even though I didn't have an appointment. She was so nice to accommodate me anyways and she did a great job! read more

Veronica did a wonderful job on my hair. I have very long red hair that was starting to get too heavy and flat. I've always had a difficult time finding a hairdresser who can give me a layered cut that falls nicely. I've had blunt, choppy, or stringy layers - even hair dressers who insist on taking off a great deal of length. Veronica was amazing! She removed a lot of weight from my hair, dead ends, and took as little length as possible. My hair falls nicely and is much more manageable. I love it! She wasn't pushy about products or other services, though when asked she gave great recommendations and even found me a leave-in conditioning spray (I asked for) that was on sale and works great. I'll definitely be back for a blow out and style, and a trim in several weeks! read more

I've been coloring my own hair for many years and was happy with the color until a few years ago. It was getting impossible to get an even color. I read many online reviews and decided to make an appointment with Veronica at Elite Salon in Camarillo. She was able to help blend the color and added really nice highlights to my hair. I'm super happy with the color!!! Thanks, Veronica. read more

I've been going to Veronica to have my hair cut and styled for over 3 years now. She's the first stylist that seems to understand my hair. I have a soft curl and waves and if not cut properly it can be difficult to manage. She always takes into consideration my hair type and gives me a cut that is best for me and my curls as opposed to just trying to match the picture or style that I want. She's wonderful. I always leave with a smile on my face and I have not been disappointed once. read more

Veronica is a great hair stylist. She listens to you and gives you advises based on what you need and best for your hair. She is also very careful and dedicated in showing you how to take care of your hair at home. Highly recommend! read more

I've been coloring my hair since I was 10 years old- highlights, peek-a-boo streaks, ombre, you name it. But not once have I ever been truly happy with the results (I'm still traumatized by the time a certain hair stylist bleached my naturally dark brown hair blonde after I specifically requested him not to *shudders*) Naturally, I had my reservations walking into Elite Salons despite all of Veronica's wonderful reviews. But I had been swept in by this new balayage trend--essentially paintbrush-like streaks that accent the natural color of your hair while brightening up your entire look. After shopping around on Yelp, I chose Veronica because she specialized in this technique as well as in working with Asian hair (a rare find in a place like Camarillo). As soon as I met Veronica, I knew my hair was in good hands. She stated clearly what she planned to do and made sure that we were on the same page before she got started. She also kept me informed about what she was doing during each step of the process, so I was always aware of what was going on with my hair. She made me feel extremely comfortable, all the while giving me tips and tricks for things like curling my hair, blowdrying, and taking care of my flaky scalp. I'm not sure what magic she did, but damn, my hair looks so good. It's brighter, lighter and looks like a picture straight off of Pinterest. I have never been so happy after leaving a hair salon. Not to mention, I've received so many compliments! So please, do you and your hair a favor and make an appointment with Veronica if you're looking for someone who is an expert in the balayage technique! read more

I'm posting this a bit late but didn't want to skip sharing the fact the Veronica is hair stylist that really knows what she's doing. I personally don't do my hair because of previous bad experiences but based on these reviews took my mother to get her hair done with Veronica. It's been a week now and my mother has gotten all kinds of compliments on her highlights, which came out exactly how my mom wanted them and with 0 damage! Veronica did an amazing job, was very professional and listened to what we wanted. I'm definitely not going anywhere else from now on! read more

Veronica fixed my bad haircut. I came to her based on the reviews here on yelp and she did an awesome job. I was so horrified with my hair disaster and my regular hair person was on vacation. I'm half Asian and have somewhat uniquely textured hair that can be difficult to cut. When my hair is cut right, it's magical. It will just dry perfectly on its own. It's always a challenge to find someone who can cut it like that though. Since moving to ventura county I've had a lot of bad haircuts. I finally found Veronica on yelp and the reviews are legit. I'll never go anywhere else. I've seen her 3 or 4 times now and every cut is amazing! read more

My natural hair is old, super fine and ginger tone (par-core ginger - Bozo the clown orange if not careful!) and I have been nursing my sad gold blond Sally's hair for years - and had the root rings of a Redwood Tree to prove it. This woman is the real deal - oozing talent! I found Veronica after much searching, and when I asked for a consult with her (assuming that she'd take one look and laugh and send me on my way) and I told her that "I just want to look "professional," not this hair that I'd been sporting for years. She was just amazing with me, so approachable and kind - loved her way with her clients and with me. She looked at my hair with confidence, made no promises she couldn't keep, and assured me that there was hope and I wasn't a lost cause. Within a week of that consult I was able to secure an appointment and she removed the rings & most of the brassiness, gave me an actual hair style - my hair did not fall out from the processing as has happened historically - and the color is just spot on - plus she soothed my nerves throughout the not-short visit - and not once did I feel she was rushed or put out from my mess of hair - she's a true pro. And most importantly, she made me look & feel like myself again! Thank you Veronica, I am so glad that I found you!! read more

One of the best hair cuts I've had! The whole experience was quite pleasant. Veronica was very nice and professional. She took the time to listen to my concerns/request. She gave me excellent advise and showed me what my hair would look like depending on what I decided to do. I have curly hair and always end up with shorter hair than I ask for. She advise me to go a little shorter in order to get more fullness. I was a little hesitant but I heard she was really good at what she does, so I just let her do her thing. I'm so glad I did....absolutely love my hair cut! My hair looks so much fuller and healthy. Thanks Veronica! read more

Truth be told, I've been looking for the holy grail of stylists FOR DECADES and the clouds parted and brought VERONICA into my life! I've been going to her for 3 years now and there's nothing to say but that's she's simply the best. Sexy cuts, gorgeous "natural" color, and her professionalism, and speed makes it worth every penny. Seriously, a full weave, shampoo, cut, blow dry in two hours, common! She and her whole staff are true artists. In the past, getting my hair done used to be this terrifying experience when it looked like Edward Scissorhands hacked my hair or I walked out as a Lady Gaga's Monster Tour Stand In. Remember Gaga's connary yello? Yeah.., Not Cute! And as a blonde that's the ultimate faux pas. I can write for days about my horrible hair debauchals but those memories have drifted into past now that she's in charge. No one touches my hair except Veronica no one not even my boyfriend ;-) I am so happy for her that she just opened her own salon and she has everything you would ever need: nails, brows, makeup.
