A little background before I get started. I have a surgical scar on my neck that I got when I was 8…read moreyears old because my tonsils were slowly growing and obstructing my airway which was especially noticeable at night when I was sleeping. Keep in mind the surgery took place in 1996 and the doctor cut my throat to get to the tonsils instead of going through my mouth which is what's normally done nowadays... Fast forward to now I recently lost a good amount of weight and until recently I didn't realize that my weight gain was actually working in my favor in covering my scar, when I lost the weight I started noticing people staring at my neck alot which didn't bother me too much at first but after a while it was hard to have a conversation with someone when they're staring at my neck most of the time. I tried foundation for a while which did help cover it somewhat okay but it also gave me more looks because I had makeup on my neck. After a while and many 100s of dollars later I googled how to cover a scar and I found this place!! I had to do another Google search because I didn't know what was scar camouflage. After reading how promising it seemed I called and talked to Taylor, I sent her pictures of my neck and she told me she can see me that week! Taylor made me feel really comfortable cause I didn't know what to expect I think the only thing that scared me is I thought it was gonna hurt really bad but during the treatment it was very similar to someone poking my neck with a pen a few tiny stings here and there, keep in my mind I have a really low pain tolerance and that was a breeze! There was no downtime either I went to work the next day totally fine, there was redness after the treatment for a few hours, when I woke up in the morning it basically healed. I am beyond happy with my results! I haven't worn any foundation since my treatment! I do have one regret...I wish I knew about scar camouflage a long time ago I would have saved so much money! She is an exceptional artist. One thing I have to add in all caps is to TRUST THE PROCESS. They will be darker and thicker than you expected after the microblading. A lot of pigment has to be used at the beginning to get them to the right shade after healing, so remember this if you don't know much about microblading. I was not given proper support for my body during the massage because they didn't have it. No bolster or wedge pillows were used. I do not think the woman who gave me the massage is even a licensed massage therapist. She rubbed directly on my bones and along my spine the entire time. When she did touch my muscles she pinched and poked at them. Proper technique was not used. I left feeling worse than when I came in and burst into tears as soon as I walked out the door. I got robbed by this place. Don't give them your money or put your body and baby at risk by coming here. Edit: after I left this review they refunded me but continued to deny my experience. They asked me to take this review down because they were worried it would impact their business and showed no remorse or concern for the injury they caused me. Do not go here for anything. Initially I thought this place wa slut bad for parental massage but it's clear they don't care about patient outcomes only making money. If they care this little about hurting a pregnant woman imagine how little they will care about your facial esthetics? I wouldn't go here for ANYTHING.
