I would absolutely recommend J'amie Skin Spa for sugaring services! Long Version: I found J'amie Skin Spa after another salon unexpectedly canceled my appointment just hours before I was set to leave for vacation. Hoping for a last-minute miracle, I called and spoke with Michelle, who was so kind and accommodating in fitting me in that same evening. From the moment I arrived, the space felt welcoming, calming, and impeccably clean. Michelle was professional, efficient, and made the entire experience far more comfortable than expected by keeping the conversation flowing and helping me relax throughout the appointment. The aftercare guidance was thoughtful and thorough, and overall the experience exceeded my expectations. I'm so grateful they were able to help me out last minute, and I'll absolutely be returning!

I highly recommend Marlin. I was always nervous about how painful waxing would be and the overall…read moreprocess and vulnerability of it. However, Marlin made me feel super comfortable from the very beginning. First of all, the place is extremely clean. When I arrived, she was already disinfecting the table which was very comforting. I am someone that values cleanliness and that was reassuring to see. Not to mention her place is super cute and clean and you can tell she takes pride in keeping it that way. Now the process: I can't say it is pain free but Marlin surely does aim to make you feel comfortable as much as she can. Throughout the process she would ask me how I was holding up and would even suggest breaks if needed. I really appreciated this because I am not sure everyone would be so willing to take many breaks like we did my first time. However, what I can say is that it gets less painful and my subsequent waxes after the first went a lot faster and a whole lot less painful. I think this is due to Marlin's skill level and quickness. She is also is very thorough and double checks her work. Lastly, the results last. If you are looking for a thorough and friendly esthetician, look no further and go to Marlin.

She got back to me freaking out that my appointment wasn't that day and she had someone else that day. I told her no, that I was just answering her question. She responded "wow b you scared me". ??!! I also had asked her multiple times for an estimate, which she didn't answer until she decided to cancel the appt, 2 days before the scheduled day and time. Lizzie is engaging and delightful. She cuts damn good hair too…read more In dire straits after my stylist of 7 years moved to Spain, I was 0 for 2 or 3 on finding a suitable replacement. I have a full head of hair with body (the hair, not my gut) that I like just above my collar, blowing in the wind as I cruise with the top down. I need someone who can sculpt and tame this mess but keep it natural. If they can carry a conversation, that's a bonus. And here's where Lizzie comes in. Based solely on Yelp reviews, I went online and made an appointment for a less than a week out (big bonus for me as I don't like to plan more than a week out) and she accepted our date. Cool I book this online and receive txt reminders but can I turn that off? Got a little annoying. Find the place is a trick. As the site reads, it's around the corner and if you hit house, you've gone a step too far. Once in, I felt at home. The clean and sparsely decorated space is comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. A TV, Pandora and a bar. I opted for fizzy water but a Manhattan was on my mind. It was easy. Conversation started over a neck rub a cut, hot foam and straight razor neck shave then a wash. We discussed her life, my life and hair. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Before she sent me on my way, a parting gift. Piping hot, chocolate chip cookie. Great cut but more important, personal attention. I have recommended her to only my closest friends who will appreciate this level of service and look forward to my next trim. Thank you Lizzie Cheers, me
