I came back a few days later to have my eyebrows threaded. Roman did a great job assessing them as one of my brows had been over threaded at another salon in Santa Barbara (in the mall). She shaped my brows while leaving as much fullness as possible, and allowing for my one eyebrow to grow back in. She was quick and gentle; she told me she has been threading for two years after taking a course in India. She charges $15 for brows, which is less than what I have seen at other places in Santa Barbara, although a few dollars more than the place that made my eyebrows too thin; however, I would prefer to pay a little more for someone with experience and who actually takes the time to make sure my brows look nice and symmetrical.

However, I left with my nails filed down to the point where they were very short and sensitive, and the shaping was uneven. The gel polish application also wasn't consistent. I chose a red color and there were sheer spots where you could see through the polish. It also wasn't applied close to the cuticle, and there was cured gel left on parts of my nails, which made the application look messy. I still paid and tipped because the technician was kind, but unfortunately this was my second time visiting and I wasn't impressed with the service either time. I unfortunately will not be returning.
