Clara is amazing! She was very gentle my first time waxing in a long time. As someone who hates strangers touching them, it is easy to be vulnerable around her while she works away. Very disappointed. I got sugared here and was not impressed. She didn't use anything to cleanse the skin before sugaring, she didn't use powder, and no products to remove the sugar or calm the skin. She also didn't brace or apply pressure which lead to extreme bruises left on me in multiple areas. This was much more painful than services I've had at different places. read more

I went to get my lashes done with a lash tech named Veronica that I believe works here at sweet cheeks. She booked me last minute which I really appreciated. Her work is great as I have seen it from lashes my cousin has gotten from her previously and pictures of her work online, but the customer service was not all the way there. I wouldn't leave this review if I didn't think there was an issue but I don't ever want anyone to feel how I did and if she has a service she should know how to approach situations like these. The first red flag should have been that she didn't sit and try to figure out what I wanted for my set. I sent her pictures of what I wanted and she sent me what she could do which was particularly the same. Wispy light lashes. When I arrived she just laid me down and was going to begin her work. I immediately stood up Bc I felt it's important to actually communicate what I was looking for regardless of our message and explained to her what I was looking for and that I had an awful experience the first time I got my lashes Bc the tech didn't do what I wanted. When she finished my lashes she didn't hand me a mirror to immediately see the work she has done and told me she was done. when I looked at the Mirror I was shocked to see that the same has happened I didn't get the lashes I wanted or was looking for. They all held the same length and didn't have a "wispy" feel to it explained to her that I understand that they might look different Bc my eye shape but it wasn't the way I wanted it to look and it looked like a totally different thing then I asked for. I asked if there was anything we could do and she just looked at her phone and stayed silent she said the glue was too fresh and there was nothing she could do. I couldn't help but cry Bc of the frustration of not getting what I was going to pay for and her not saying anything at all to my disappointment. Instead of offering a lash removal to accommodate me since It wasn't what I wanted but she just stayed on her phone silent. This review is just for the girls that are too shy to say what they feel sometimes. If you accidentally get what u didn't want instead of trying to fix the issue she'll just stare at you blankly and not say anything. read more

I have had my lashes done at numerous places in SB and have not been this happy with my lashes! They are amazingly full, not heavy, and Clara is always standing behind her work making sure I am satisfied with my lashes! I am Asian and my lashes are fine & straight, so my lash extensions are important to me!!! I have been to other salons for them paid a lot for them & never had anyone tell me how to care for them correctly or check in with me to see how they are a few days after application. Clara is mindful of my past experience with skin sensitivity to the glue & hygiene, so I have never experienced any infection or reaction to the lashes or glue! As for my sugaring, no complaints always clean, easy, quick and NO HIVES! I never leave with any skin issues and none ever come up after! My tans are always even, no streaks, and no weird dark palms or feet from overspray because she applies the perfect amount of barrier lotion & is meticulous when she is applying the spray tan!
