A diagnostic visit should not turn into a hard sell on the doorstep without clear disclosure up front. I will not use Chesapeake Electric again and I would not recommend them. Phew, much to my relief, Chesapeake Electric was great to work with - scheduling the job was easy, the electrician showed up on time, he was very communicative, the work performed was great and it was easy to pay. Also, the electrician did a great job cleaning up and hauling away the trash from the ceiling fan. They had to go up to the attic to complete the installation. After they left, I noticed that the helper had put his foot through the ceiling of the room next to the bathroom. I contacted the company and sent pictures. I was told that they did not pay for damage caused by their employees. The gentleman pointed out that "the crack was not that bad anyway."
