Been here several times on a Friday night to have dinner and dancing with DJ who plays some good funk jams. Yesterday I had horrible experience mainly because of server Selena. This is the second time we have had her, first time we had her we were sat at table inside next to DJ booth she passed us by several times paid us no attention to the point where my husband had to go to bar and ask for drinks, she seen him there then she finally got the point as to do her job. The rest of night was ok. Yesterday we arrived around 9:30 on valentines night and it was understandably busy there was no tables inside on DJ side open. We were greeted by hostess at door who explained that there was a wait to sit inside but as soon as table opened we would go in. Which was fine she sat us outside patio under a heat lamp and we agreed to wait hoping it wouldn't be long. Selena introduced herself and said there was a list and we apparently were 4th on it there was 3 ahead of us although the hostess at point did she mention that so we thought that was kind of weird. We went ahead and ordered drinks and dinner from menu. We had no problem up until then but then we see a couple get seated next to us that we personally saw walk in way after us, and their waitress came up and took them inside. So here's where our complaint is IF we were "4th "on this list according to Selena then why did that couple get seated at a table inside ahead of us? Is there a reason why Selena doesn't like us??? My husband right away stood up to check if they were taken and seated inside and seen that they were, obviously getting upset he said we need to find our server and ask what's goin on, as usual Selena was no where to be found so I walked up to host and explained what we had just experienced and they asked me who our server was and so i said selena i told them we were very upset and they agreed to send a manager out to speak to us and find out what's happening. Next thing you know Selena walks out with another server and as I stand up to try to explain she gets up in my face and gets confrontational, very unprofessional at her place of work where she deals with the public. I was not acting out of character only explaining what had just occurred my husband adds we just want to cancel our food order and leave which she responds then why don't you just leave now and continues to rambling on outloud She is now being held back by other server almost like as if she is about to get physical with me . I don't know what her problem is but as I said this is our second time with her serving us and she has came across very rude and needs additional training perhaps. She does not intimidate me in any way and I chose not to bring that side of me there so I'm not sure why she got in my face but I suggest this kind of behavior gets dealt with or on a different ocassion it may not end the way it did. We ended up leaving only after being there maybe 30 mins. I won't say this person will keep me from going back merely because of the service I received from her because I like coming here and as I said the food and entertainment is good I will not allow her to ruin it for us. But as for me when and if there is a next time I will refuse to be served or even approached by her. I hope this is not the way your employees are allowed to continue to serve the public. Selena you need better customer service skills and an attitude adjustment you do not intimidate us maybe we intimidate you or simply you are just hating?? Not sure what your problem is but this didn't have to end this way! Very unprofessional at your place of work. Manager never even came , by the way, even though I asked several different people and times. My son invited me to have what he said was a place that serves really good burgers. I ordered the Outlaw burger and upgraded to onion rings. The burger was nicely charred and seasoned just right. The patty appears to be fresh hand made patty. If you check in on yelp they offer a free order of chips and salsa. The salsa was so good but very spicy, or at least to spicy for me. I gave this place four stars because my burger came dry even though I was told it had mayo. The patty was also much smaller than the bun and I missed out on at least three more bites of wonderfulness. Five stars to Sheila who stepped in to help the waitress. Sheila was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. I saw some breakfast plates pass us and cant wait to go back to try the breakfast, as the portions looked large and tasty. read more

Hi Mike. My husband and I were at your restaurant tonight (8/27/25) for approximately 4 hours. We were sitting on the smoking side with our friend Jay (your server) who was off work. We had just gotten our dinner why KJ Stephanie came out & set up. She asked Jay if we were going to be long & her thinking that she wanted the extra seats at our table (we were sitting at the big round table) said that there is 4 extra chairs if anyone needed to sit. Stephanie said no, it's because she liked to reserve the first 2 tables as non-smoking. Being as I was currently smoking & Jay said that she smokes, Stephanie said she's allergic & this is how she wants it. I said that this was the smoking side and my husband told her to go set up on the other side then. She then bent down and whispered (loudly) in Jay's ear that she has real asshole friends. We are regulars & really took offense to this. We went inside to pay our bill and leave. Jay was already in with Tina to tell her what happened & we told the bartender, our server Kacey & Shelby what happened. I really don't expect to be treated like this when we did nothing wrong, especially from an outside employee. We're there at least once a week, sometimes more & have never had a problem. This was my first time going to this establishment. I've always seen it driving by Indiana but never stopped by until that Tuesday because my friend Christina was the KJ for Karaoke that night. The bartender Jackey (I hope I spelled her name right lol) was AMAZING. The one thing I appreciated was the safety procedures they put in place because of Covid. They take temperatures at the door, gloves are worn, all employees are wearing masks and require patrons to wear a mask when walking through the inside to use the restroom. The staff was very friendly from what I saw at our table. I personally didn't eat anything that night but a friend of mine did and he said the food was great. I can say it def looked great so next time I'll try that out and post an update. The karaoke was fun. Christina's amazing and gets you on a good rotation. They don't have beer on Tap which was disappointing but my bottled Lagunitas was fine. I would come back for sure for the good vibes and Karaoke. This place lost a star for a couple things 1. The servers seem to be semi overwhelmed at times idk if it's because of being understaffed ? But there were a few times I had to get up to go ask for another round when they have walked by quite a few times. (They don't want you walking inside and asking the bar from what I heard from a friend because of Covid) this wasn't that big of a deal but you get my point. 2. I think because of it being so busy this can bring out sketchy individuals. There was a couple at a table pretty far from ours who ordered drinks and said it was "from our table" because I guess he had a mutual friend. The person at our table didn't order them anything and when confronted at the bar he got crazy lol.. so we ended up having to pay for it. The issue is servers not clarifying things like that. The General Manager Tyna never spoke or made any attempt to greet us. There were 3 tables of customers seated on the patio (7 guests total, not very busy) and she was very pleasant to the other two tables. Inside, when we went to the restroom, she crossed our paths and made no attempt to speak or acknowledge us as customers. It was awkward and an obvious intentional slight. I expect more from a GM. Great food, excellent service and awesome prices. I had prime rib, cooked to perfection. My adult grandchildren had a burger and pasta. All our food came right away and was hot and plentiful on top of the deliciousness. We enjoyed an alcoholic drink that was mixed perfectly. Our server was experienced and she made sure our dining experience was very enjoyable (sorry, I didn't get her name.) We went a little early, before the crowd because I like a more quiet atmosphere but the after work people started to arrive and it was nice to see people knowing people and servers knowing their clientele. Was excited to get some steak, and although I want to support local restaurants, especially during the pandemic. I can't in good conscience recommend this place. The Rib Eye I ordered was suppose to be Medium Rare but it was more Medium Well to Well done. Plus it was small. Then it took over an hour to get our food. The staff was nice and they said they were going to give us 15% off on our bill but according to my friend they only gave us 10%. The manager spoke to my friend and did give him a gift card for next time. But it was a little to late. I ordered some dessert, store bought cheesecake but they gave me a tiny little sliver. Coffee was also stale. Again I wish I can support this local restaurant; but not if it's not that good. read more

I go to laws every Friday. My sister and I were both widows when we started going every Friday to dance and stay in shape. It is always so much fun and we dance the whole night long together. The DJ plays music that you have to get up and shake what you got. We have dinner each Friday as well and it's always very delicious. And the staff is very attentive. Last May I met my boyfriend there. He has a beautiful voice and enjoys singing in the karaoke section of Law's. There is a diverse group of people that go to Law's and all seem so nice. Everyone both staff and clientele are very friendly. There is not much around here that provides both dancing and karaoke. This makes the laws very unique and those that frequent there. Have a wonderful time. It has become my favorite place to go. Oh and Michael, the owner, is kind, friendly, professional, sings beautifully, and is a bit of eye candy too, LOL.
