Chill vibes, comfortable, great workers, and a horror movie was playing due to it being Halloween weekend. We were there earlier in the night so it was more chill, then we left around 11 when it started to get a bit busier. I haven't been coming here for long but so far everything has been pretty great. I usually show up when things are quiet and they've always got movies playing. I have gotten great service consistently from the guys that always help me when I arrive. Turner and Ryan are pretty good guys. There is a third who I'm forgetting, and I am sorry about that, but he's pretty cool too. Never had a negative experience with any of the guys mentioned. I've been there once when the music started booming, it's pretty nice. People are good to each other and just want to enjoy themselves. Overall, great experience. For the most part the service is fantastic, the hookah is amazing, and the environment is pretty awesome to relax in. Been coming for years and they always have amazing service and great hookah. I just bought a hookah today from them because I wanted to smoke at home and social distance. I knew absolutely NOTHING about setting up a hookah coming in. 3 of the staff members took their time to explain every single thing to me, gave me personal recommendations and an actual demonstration on how to pack the hashish. They were so welcoming and they were genuinely excited for me. I love them and will be coming back for more stuff soon! Nice environment typical of any hookah place. My friend and I definitely got some funny looks from other patrons for being dressed in business formal attire, but the other patrons don't represent the business. The occasional loud customer begins yelling about their life, and the music is sometimes overbearing, but it's a hookah bar, you should expect that. Decent prices, I just wish it looked a bit cleaner at times. The gentleman at the register did not treat us disrespectfully or belittled us when we asked basic questions. Five stars are for Jenny she's one of my favorites here, she's so nice and funny and inviting and makes it such a warm welcoming environment which is super awesome considering she's always running around making sure the place is clean and everyone has coals/bowls are good etc I've never seen her not busy she's always making sure something is getting done and she's awesome about asking for song requests to play on the speakers so everyone can sit and relax and enjoy their hookahs and whatever music they want, the hookahs are great but I know almost everyone really just comes for Jenny and her amazing energy read more

Sultans was a good place to chill and hang out with no worries. It was $40 for 4 people and 2 hookahs, they had beverages and snacks. They have plenty of tvs for the Laker game and music videos. The owner and manager are always checking on you to make sure your party is good and you have fresh coals. We will be returning soon. read more

My boyfriend and I come here every week. If you are looking for a relaxing hooka lounge with amiable people, this is the place for you. Everyone that comes here is friendly. Our favorite blend to smoke is AF mint and owaha. They have dart boards, which is fun to play while you're smoking your hooka with friends. I love their recent addition of pumpkin, French Vanilla and hazelnut coffee, which I enjoy drinking when I get here after a long day of work. They got new couches which are just as comfortable as the old ones they had. You will be so comfortable and enjoy your time here, that you'll loose track of time. This hookah bar by far is my favorite. The only complaint I have is the gas lol. The staff has always been very pleasant and the hookah is smooth. One thing they always do is stock you up on coals which is a plus. I have gotten some friends in my area to come and visit with the same compliments. I used to love this place. But one of the employees is sooooo rude now. All he does is talk crap to the customers (Of course not when the owner is there though)...He's very sarcastic and doesn't help people until they ask or motion him over. He acts as though it's a burden to bring you more coals. I don't mind people being sarcastic, but being rude to customers is a whole different thing. He's getting paid to provide a service. I love hookah and have been to many places, but finding a great place in riverside has proven to be a bit of a challenge. Good hookah, good flavor selection, and the coal service was always checking up which is nice. Friendly employees and patrons. The atmosphere is nothing special; a bunch of couches spread out in a pretty bare room. It was clean, dark, but compared to other hookah lounges I've been to; I wasn't impressed whatsoever with the decor. I also felt like a fan or a larger type of ventilation system would have been useful. I know it's a hookah lounge- but it was pretttttyyyyy cloudy in there. I felt like I needed to rush home and shower the smell out of my hair afterwards. I was especially bummed that they don't offer any type of drink or food service. After receiving a comment from the owner in regards to my review, I have decided it's only fitting to adjust my rating to a 1 star due to the owners lack of professionalism especially in regards to paying customers. It's unfortunate that some business owners don't know how to handle customer complaints... To the owner: Not everybody walking through your doors is going to enjoy what you have to offer, and it's no excuse for you to get so defensive for those reasons. Just for future reference, I think a better way to handle situations such as this would be to give the customer a reason to come back and let them know that you will try to make their next experience a little bit more enjoyable. Heard about this place from a friend and was visiting in the area so thought I'd try it out. The good about Sultan's is they use all Khalil Mamoon Hookahs, have premium tobacco, use Coco Nara Coconut charcoal, the customer service is awesome, and their prices are cheap for the best quality hookah money can buy. The front desk guy was super cool, greeted us, talked shop with all the premium shisha brands they carry etc... Also I have to say contrary to some of the other reviews on here, the coal service was great. We never had to ask for anything the whole time we were there, and it was very busy. The downside is the space itself is dirty. Holes all over the couches (which glow because of the black lights), black lights, laser lights, super loud music (apparently we came on an event night with a dj). The dj was awesome, but I like to chill out when I smoke hookah, so be advised, the environment here is loud, hyper, lasers lights in your eyes, 2 chainz, too $hort, lil' jon playing, crowd definitely 18-21yrs old, etc... Also this place does not have food (unless you consider monster energy drink and bags of chips food, then they have food). Conclusion, the hookah was great, prices were great, service was great, and the atmosphere is definitely catered to 18-21yr olds. If you're looking for a great hookah mid week out in riverside you won't find a better deal for this quality if you're ok with the environment. read more

An amazing new addition to riverside! I was fortunate enough to go to Sultan's Hookah Bar with a few friends a few days before the grand opening and had quite an amazing experience. Everything about this place is far and beyond better than any other hookah place I've been to. Let me break it down in detail: + The hookah itself is amazing. They give you an option of the regular Starbuzz flavors, Fantasia flavors, or the new independent line, PURE, which is a tobacco free line with flavors that don't get harsh. The best PURE flavor in my opinion is raspberry. Its sweet but subtle + Amazing atmosphere: It is a quaint smallish place on the corner of Van Beuren and Arlington Avenue. When you walk in you face a giant Hieroglyphic that is lit up. Looking around you'll see couch laying out sporadically in an interesting manner. They also have very comfortable fold out chairs that are almost like couches. + Amazing Price: As an opening promo, they are having a $9.99 special that includes a hookah and a free head change. This usually lasts you a couple of hours. + Amazing service. The owners and the servers were very friendly and one of the owners even let me request a few songs for the music that was playing :) OVERALL: Its is an amazing experience. You should definitely check it out during their Grand Opening Night which is this Saturday. read more

As someone who frequents hookah lounges from San Diego to Riverside there are a couple things that you realize are incredibly important for a hookah lounge. SEATING. Even before the hookah it's self the most important thing for me is seating. I can't do booths as the majority of booths make me uncomfortable and I end up leaving a lounge purely because my body hurts not because I want to be done smoking. That being said the couches at this lounge are a solid 8/10 and the only reason they are not a perfect 10 is the coal marks they have. Comfort wise I have never sat in more comfortable couches at a lounge before as they are soft enough to relax into but firm enough that they don't just suck you in making you have to fight to get back up. HOOKAH. 10/10 I can't say I have been to every lounge in Riverside actually far from it but this place knows how to pack their bowls and they have use coconut charcoal default so no crappie quick light coals. They have quite a large selection of tobacco but not so much that you feel overwhelmed by what they are offering. Of you are having a hard time selecting the staff here is amazing and will help you with a decision that matches what you care to smoke. They are NEVER late with coals so that even before you are done with your first round they are coming around offering to change they out and if you are good will set them to on the tray so you have some when you are ready to change them as you want. SERVICE. 10/10 The first time I was here they were so kind and kept coming by to check on me and making sure my shisha wasn't harsh and that everything was good. They make you feel at home and make you feel completely relaxed as a hookah lounge should make you feel. They are what a lounge should be and put almost every other lounge I have been in to shame. Tl;Dr this place is in my opinion the best lounge in Riverside and worth your time to try out. The atmosphere and everything is amazing give it a try. read more

Lighting is bright enough. You can play darts and they have cappuccinos to serve.
