It was my first time here at Law's! my friend had reserved a valentine theme paint and sip night, happy hour is until 7pm, with $7 cocktails or shots. I had ordered a lobster roll and my server recommended Cajun tater tots. The brioche bread had a nice buttery taste, and the lobster was cooked to perfection, with a little crunch with the slaw and topped with their sauce. servers were fast, very catering and assisting us with our paints. It's a known popular local spot in riverside where the drinks are great, strong and great prices. Food is pretty good for a bar & grill spot. They have a DJ on the weekends starting Friday nights in one side of the spot indoors, the other side with the bar holds more dinner booths and a couple pool tables. They have two outdoor patio seatings, one with complete ceiling heaters, a couple tvs and the other side with nightly karaoke, starts at 7pm - Midnight (7 days a week). The service is pretty good and attentive but it does get fairly busy so you would sometimes have to wave them down or remind them.. H Ps. I went here super randomly while I was in the area and wasn't expecting much. But the bartender Crystal was absolutely incredible and so attentive. She was so sweet and the food was absolutely amazing. I got a sandwich and tomato bisque and it was honestly the best meal I've had in a while. Came here on a Saturday night for the first time. When you first arrive there are bouncers asking for your IDs and men will be patted down. Once inside there is roughly three areas. To the left is a room with a dance floor that has a DJ playing Friday and Saturdays starting at 9pm. Drinks are not allowed on the dance floor so keep that in mind. The bathrooms are located after the dance floor. If you turn right you will see a bar top along with some more tables along with pool tables to play on. You can hear the music from the stage still. If you keep walking and turn right there is a door to take you to their patio. In the patio, karaoke occurs starting at 7:30pm nightly. Just go up to the host and sign yourself for a song. Overall the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable. Felt safe inside and in their parking lot. I didn't have any food so can't talk about that. read more

Lousy service. It was my first time last Wednesday. The server made us wait 35mins, I tried to get her attention to see if she was going take our order. She straight up ignored me & kept walking. I had my mind made up. I told my cousin let's go. When I went to the front to tell the other waitress she convinced me that she would let her know & we would be waited on. I bought two chicken soft tacos & my cousin got the two shrimp tacos. "Separate orders mind you!" Both our cards were charged. I intentionally didn't leave her tip because why, she was rude. Well, I messed up by leaving the tip part blank. Two days later, I noticed a charge for $20.61. My chicken tacos were only supposed to be 5.38... I called the next day to let the manager know and she's the one who told me it was a tip charge . I said no I didn't leave her a tip because she ignored us for 35 mins. She pretty much checked on every table but us. The manager said she was going to fix it that it would be two days depending on my bank. It's been almost a week for the over charge. Visiting the area, we drove by Law's and tried to find parking on a Saturday night. Lot was completely full so we came back on Sunday evening. It's a 70's time capsule inside, including the style and jovial conversation of the patrons. Chloe served us a massive pretzel, some wings and some shots and bottled beer. No draft beer here. There was karaoke happening in a side room and modern country music on the speakers in the bar area. Good service and a casual local vibe. This was my third trip to Law's and my husband decided on the small Caesar salad--it was delicious with just the right amount of dressing,croutons and he loved it. I'm stuck on the french dip and can never finish it so he gladly helped me. The service couldn't be better and we are going to get our servers name next time. Before our latest experience I would have gave a warm review but man ... service has always been ok. Same as food. And drinks are either hit or miss.
