I did take off a star only because the nails were cut shorter than I personally like. But I also could've let him know prior to the consultation to keep them on the longer side. Overall, Hanson gave incredible attention to detail on both my pedicure and manicure and I highly recommend him! I will absolutely be returning.

We ended up just getting regular gel nail polish. The front desk girls have great customer service. But some of the other workers there are very intimidating and just stare at you. Every customer should be greeted and welcomed in, after all we did pick your establishment to spend our money. Overall, the experience was good. They have so many nail color options and styles, you will find something you love. We will be back to try them out again!

It was a very small cut, so I didn't make a big deal out of it and let him continue. A few minutes later, while filing another nail, it burned so badly that my eyes watered. I even said, "Ouch! Maybe my nails are just sensitive today." Despite that experience, the customer service that day was kind, so I left thinking maybe it was just an off day. When my friend suggested we come back this past Saturday, I was hesitant but decided to give the salon another chance. I spent $150 on my nails because my daughter's birthday party is next Saturday, and I wanted to get them done early so I wouldn't have to worry about them during the busy week. We left for Seattle after my appointment and returned Monday. By Sunday--less than 24 hours later--my nails had already started chipping. I went back to the salon to have them look at the issue. Instead of acknowledging that something might have gone wrong, the first thing I was told was that "this gel doesn't last long." I asked, "Less than 24 hours?" I was then asked if I had been cooking a lot for my daughter's party. I explained that the party wasn't for another six days, so that wasn't the cause. During the conversation, the customer service representative rolled her eyes at me, which made the experience even more disappointing. My issue isn't the money. It's the lack of customer service and accountability. Sometimes products fail or mistakes happen--that's understandable. What matters is how a business responds. I ended up going to my regular nail salon, and the difference was night and day. As soon as I walked in, they asked, "Oh no, did we do this?" When I explained what had happened, they fixed my nails with care, kindness, and without making me feel like I had done something wrong. I believe good customer service is about listening to your customers and standing behind your work. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here, and because of that, my friend my daughter and I, won't be returning. My friends nail was also damaged and her finger nicked at this appointment but I will let her write her own review. UPDATE: THanks for the response again this confirms that they are blaming the client and lying. No apology about how I was treated. Your response speaks volumes. If you did stand to your 7 day policy I would have been treated differently from the start and this review would never have happened. Not the clients fault that you use cheap material.

They have several different options to choose from at different price points but they are all very reasonable, especially for the service you get! I used to think the jelly pedicure sounded silly but I suddenly felt drawn to it and I'm glad I gave it a try because it is soooo good! The powder dissolves in water and as you stir your feet around it turns into this thick, warm gel that is really satisfying. I was so disappointed when it was time to drain. Again, I don't do anything fancy on my nails, but the paint job is always consistent. The massages are generous, the chairs are comfortable, they offer complementary beverages (including alcohol, if that's your thing), and the staff are very sweet. It's a modern and upscale looking salon that is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and in a convenient location. I will keep going back! PS: one of the last times I actually had my nails done was for my wedding November of 2024, and they were absolutely flawless. Good experience. Nice staff, all very friendly, interacted with the customers well. Knew almost everyone that walked in the door, remembering locals, which is cute to see. My gal did a thorough job on my toes. They were having a special for a 'delux pedicure' (including all the basics plus exfoliating scrub, hot stone massage, and foot wax for $25). I tipped a little, so it was $30 in the end. Not bad! Massage chairs worked well and I was able to sit in the drying lights for as long as I liked (pending someone was not waiting I suppose). I recently went into Lavish Nails Salon and got a French tip manicure and pedicure with my nails being gel. There was a good amount of people there and I think they are normally busy so I would recommend making an appointment. It has been almost a week and my nails are still in perfect condition. The ladies there were very kind and almost all of them spoke English which can be helpful when you need some interpreting. The lady doing my nails was really sweet and did a great job with each of the services included in the deluxe. I have been to many nails salons and this one is one of my favorites. Everytime I get my nails done I go to Lavish. Never disappointed. Today the last Saturday before thanksgiving there was a misunderstanding on my part and they were completely booked :( I went to go find another salon near by and Lavish called me and got me in with a cancellation, Bre did my nails and was amazing. I got a classic ombré nail, Bre was friendly, quick but not rushed. Lavish is always clean with professional techs. Lots of laughing and happy chatting about the upcoming holiday season. I loved this place! I was in town for the weekend and was looking for a place to get a shellac mani and a spa pedi. This place had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. It was very busy because it was the Saturday before Valentine's Day but I didn't feel like they rushed my service. Jennifer was amazing and so sweet! My pedi and shellac mani turned out great. I was in and out in less than 1.5 hrs. I would highly recommend this place! read more

First I'm a dude and I go here to get pedicures cause my feet are wrecked from work and honestly being overweight. Price is great and the service is spot on. Trish is my girl. She is so great at making me feel like a member of the family. Outspoken, personal and funny. Now as far as the petty goes...... Trish has to work her ass off on my feet, poor girl. I made an appointment for my girlfriend and I and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Despite arriving close to closing time, the staff graciously accommodated us and didn't rush through our services. The manager also offered us complimentary mimosa. The hand massage was top tier, leaving us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The attention to detail during our manicures was exceptional. I've been having Cindie do my nails since 2004. Amazing is how I would describe her and the rest of the folks here. It is laid back and super affordable. I routinely get compliments on my nails. I've done everything from acrylic to gel to regular manicures. Quality is impeccable. If you are not satisfied, come back and they're more than happy to fix it. They had me sit in the pedicure chair while doing my manicure and pedicure at the same time, which I didn't enjoy. During my manicure, the technician cut me on three different fingers, and the next day I had a hard time washing my hair because of how sore they were. Within just three days, four of my nails were already lifting. Anyone familiar with builder gel knows that this should not be happening so quickly. I also found the pedicure experience uncomfortable, as the technician didn't speak to me at all and relied on slapping my legs and pointing to direct me where to go. I contacted the manager to explain my concerns and ask for a refund. Although he was unable to offer a refund, he kindly offered to redo my nails at no charge. I really appreciated how nice and accommodating he was, and I want to give him credit for trying to make things right. Unfortunately, I'm now eight days out from my original appointment, and two nails are already lifting again after the redo. I'm not sure what products are being used, but the builder gel is clearly not holding up the way it should. My nails are peeling and lifting as though I had a regular gel manicure, despite paying for builder gel. I appreciate the manager's kindness, but at this point, I'm frustrated that I've spent a significant amount of money on a service that hasn't lasted even a week without issues. I really wanted to love this salon, but based on my experience, I can't justify spending this kind of money on nails that continue to lift and peel so quickly. I hope they take this feedback seriously and look into the products and techniques being used.

When I went to pay, she told me if I paid cash I would not have to incur an extra $1.00 fee. Let me start by saying that everyone was kind and friendly, but unfortunately the quality of our nails didn't match the price. I specifically scheduled and requested a complete Gel-X removal with a fresh builder gel application on my natural nails. I also noted this in the online appointment request. Instead, a builder fill was done over my existing product. My daughter had builder gel with tips applied. Her nails turned out better than mine overall, although one nail was noticeably longer than the others. We both requested cat-eye nails, but we were never asked which cat-eye style we wanted. The salon had a sample with a heart cat-eye effect that I asked about, but was told they couldn't do it. We ended up with different-looking cat-eye effects and not the look we were expecting. My builder gel has multiple quality issues, including incomplete polish coverage near the cuticle and sidewalls, visible bumps or debris under the finish, uneven thickness, and shaping that flares wider toward the tips on some nails. The finish also immediately looks like several days of grow-out because the polish wasn't applied close to the cuticle. We paid $200 for both my daughter and I, which included a 20% tip. For that price, I expected much better attention to detail. The technicians were pleasant throughout the appointment, but unfortunately the workmanship means we won't be returning.

I'm very hesitant about trying new nail places, especially when there are so few reviews…read more But we're visiting family here in Vancouver and I needed a gel pedicure for an upcoming beach trip. My sister-in-law and I tried this place and we loved it. I understand why the other reviews have clients coming from Portland to see Dong and his wife. Friendly service, sterile tools (opened right in front of you), and quality massage and exfoliation. I have very sensitive legs and typical nail salon massages are borderline painful. But this place was perfect. My sister-in-law who lives locally will be coming here often now, and I will be coming back every time we're in town. I will be coming back in a couple days to do a gel manicure (normally I wouldn't trust a nail salon with my nails and I do them myself, but I would trust this salon). I hope their location won't change.

Gave me what I wanted exactly. Make sure to call ahead or risk waiting hours. I always call ahead and set up an appointment but I did have to wait 20 minutes and I watched alot of woman who would just walk in waiting 2+ hours or were asked to come back the next day.

I want to love this place so much but had couple of things to suggest and comment on …read more Cons: When we originally tried to make apt for two mani /pedi we were told none was available till couple days later but when we had our time inside a lot of walks in were allowed so to see that it was little frustrating so maybe call again and get someone else or just walk in when you go .. second I'm not sure who is doing all the good nails on Instagram it must be one or two people cause the ladies we got could hardly draw a flower lol and my friends polish bubbled and when we asked about it and getting it fixed were told it's because it's regular polish which isn't true since I didn't have that happen and instead of fixing it threw on other Coat to try to cover it .. Pro: located in a beautiful updated section with coffee shops and brew pubs near by . Shop is new and clean with liners in the tub . I don't think I've ever seen one shop have so many choices for gel polish and dips I was seriously impressed . The prices are fair and you have good selection of upgrades on pedicures . My only suggestion is what I'm giving myself and giving it other shot to see if maybe my experience is different . Update : went again and yay got someone little better at nail art also found out who does some of the arts on their Instagram page . Still nice clean updated space

Found on ClassPass. I like the techs there but pricing adds up to be double of what I'm used to…read morepaying. I would come back when I'm in vancouver but probably couldn't afford this to be my regular nails spot.
