When I pointed out a missed spot nicely to the technician, she started YELLING at me and then took nail polish remover and removed my entire set! What in the world! I am in shock and will be reporting this place. I'm unsure if it was racism, but I have never experienced anything like this despite living in many cities. Absolutely awful. They don't know how to do chrome. I had to have it redone completely before even leaving because it was peeling off, and they did a Mickey Mouse job redoing without starting over so I had to go back the following day because it was peeling off. They gave me attitude the next day and redid them but without the niceties of the water in the basinand the relaxation but with a rushed quick stripping of the gel and a fast redo. The next day here's a pic of them. Chipping and peeling off again. And they charge 15 dollar extra for the "chrome" which they can't get them to stay on. And btw a 30 pack of chrome on Amazon is 14 bucks and lasts a really really really long time, so there's no need to upcharge when you're already up charging the gel. To be clear you gave me one free drink not many times I've only been there twice. I'm not suggesting doing the chrome myself I'm saying you're up charging the gel and the chrome when the chrome is very inexpensive for you to buy, and no other salons are charging extra for chrome and gel. This would be the 3rd time to fix them. read more

Really disappointed that the only offered to fix my nails instead of a refund. Now I have to pay to get them soaked off and redone only 10 days after getting them done. Not cool at all. Never experienced this level of disappointment with my nails before. The owner doesn't think that my nails breaking off less than 24 hours after I got them done constitutes a refund. Went in as a walk in. I was take almost right away. Asked my nail tech 2 times for a specific request, she nodded her head and said yes. She started doing my pedicure and I verify yet AGAIN my specific request and she AGAIN said yes. She continued to do my pedicure and DID NOT do what I asked !!! I asked her politely to stop and she kept going . Their menu says a deluxe pedicure is $55. When I checked out it was it was $70 w/o a tip!!!! No gel just regular nail color. They had a man doing gel x nails who could file a nail straight to save his life. After repeatedly telling him they were slanted. Ladies not just a little crooked but I'm taking slanted to one side, every single nail. Someone else came over and tried to fix them, or sorry to show him how to fix them because he didn't know how. I was told the only option was to start over, soak them off, or cut them short. I sat there in tears while he cut them short to my natural nail length bc I don't have the time for them to start over. I told them I wasn't paying for this and left. They didn't really offer to paint them before I left, but insisted on a soak off. I walked out. Horrible. He over filed my side walls, made me bleed, and over filed the gel x nail itself. How can you over file that. He should stick to doing natural nails if that's what he good at. Let everyone else handle the fake nails. Oh and I made an appointment and they still couldn't give me someone who knew what they were doing.Been here before and they were good but not great, safe in a pinch of you have someone to go. This business is one of the dirtiest nail salons I've ever walked into. Every inch of this place is so dirty. The counters, towels and even the sink with "sanitized" nail brushes was disgusting. In terms of the nail techs, my only experience is having gel removed. I was charged $30 for having gel removed. The nail tech basically scraped the gel off with some "gel remover" instead of the traditional soak other salons do. I found this process to be so much harder on my nails. I will never be back. I don't know how people even step foot in this nail place. read more

I was here on a little mini vacay and decided to get a mani pedi for my birthday. Everyone was very friendly and nice and did a thorough job at cleaning up my cuticles. I have pretty small fingernails, so I know that they can be a challenge to paint. I originally wasn't thrilled with my fingers and came back to get them redone. Lynn and Tracy fixed them to my liking. My feet were done by Tracy and she did an excellent job. I left very happy with their work and happy with my nails. I got gel on my fingers. I don't like leaving negative reviews, having said that - this is necessary. I scheduled a basic mani and pedi. They continued to try and upsell me on gel, which I repeatedly said no. Upon loofahing my feet, he gashed the side of my toe. I was bleeding and had to alert him. He laughed and said it was just because of the loofah. No apology, no offer to clean it. During the manicure, he left polish on my skin and said to wait 5 min to dry. 5 minutes? I realized there was a reception area full of people. This is the first time I have ever not tipped on a personal service. My hands and feet came out looking worse than when going in. I went home to immediately clean my wound and take antibiotics. I am calling the Public Health Dept. on Monday. Thank goodness I have video of it . I should have stuck to my salon in Goleta but since I moved here I thought I would give it a try.
