Yummmmm Birria Quesadilla

The food was delicious. The wait was a bit long. I don't think they anticipated the crowd. But the waiter was a trooper. The place is a vibe... hookah and games.

Went to meet up with friends celebrating a birthday. When I got there a waited a little before the waiter came to the table. I ordered a drink from the waiter and the drink took about 15-20 mins that disappointed me because I have gone before and the service was on point . Felt everyone we wanted to order drinks it took very long to order and then to receive the drinks. I also ordered food which I had no complaints it was very savory. The ambience was good. I just wished the drink service was better.

This spot has changed hands a few times over the years, so I decided to stop in on a Saturday evening . It was after brunch but before the dinner crowd. I was surprised it wasn't busier, but it may have just been the timing. The atmosphere was really nice. They opened up the space beautifully compared to the previous ownership, and the music was a good mix of 90s and newer music. Our waiter came over quickly for drink orders, and the drinks arrived fast and tasted great. The food was outstanding. We had the wings, shrimp quesadilla, salmon, and chicken fajitas. Everything was a 10/10. Downside: The music was loud. Like uncomfortably loud. Maybe we were seated near a speaker, but 7pm in an almost empty restaurant, it felt excessive. I could barely hear my own thoughts.

A friend of mine saw this on IG and put it on our "to check out" list. We opted to finally go on a Friday evening for Happy Hour. We arrived maybe 30mins before Happy Hour was to end. My friend and I ordered lemon drops and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS. When the waitress bought out our drinks she also bought out the drinks for the next table and one drink look so yummy, the Guava margarita. The waitress reminded us happy hour was ending and we put in additional drink orders. We got two additional rounds. Including the guava margarita. We also ordered the Birra arepas and the burger. We were not hungry so we shared. In addition they also have hookah and good mix of Latin and old school 90s R & B. The food exceeded my expectations. The burger was very good and filling. Even with sharing it was more than enough. The arepas are itty bitty but pack lots of flavor and even though it was a small portion it was more than satisfying. It was just right. The drinks I think are the star of the show. Who ever was the bartender did their big one. I felt as if they had a skilled mixoligist behind the bar. The service was very good. The staff was super friendly and everyone was hands on deck EXCEPT one person. I feel the need to mention this person in hopes that maybe her attitude will change. Her attitude would have made me say never again to this place however the other staff was so over the top it made up for her stank attitude. She herself may have been a manager. While I did not catch her name she is blond with thin waist length extensions and let's just put it nicely by saying she is hard to miss due to her very over exaggerated curves. However my waitress that evening Milly deserves her own personal review. Milly hands down understands the art of hospitality and guest services. Apart from the good food and drinks the place itself is decorated very chic and has contemporary art painted on the walls that clearly depicts the Mex+French mix. Overall it is small inside yet very cozy and while the music was good what made it perfect was the volume. She could actually hear the person sitting at the table with you. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because I personally did not try their full curated menu. However what I did try makes what to return and explore more options.

OMG!!! I love it here!! I come here atleast once a week. The bartenders and servers are really cool and personable. The drinks are well mixed and unique, the tacos are amazing! The music is such a vibe and let's not forget about the scenery, definitely picture worthy If it's your birthday!!! I definitely recommend to anyone celebrating a birthday or looking for a date night.

Service is incredible. it feels like a mix between a high end restaurant and an upscale trendy lounge. the raspberry lychee mojito mocktail was excellent...For happy hour dinner I had the steak mac and cheese and it was delicious. I also had the birria arepitas and the flavors were very good as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Guava Margarita

We ordered the Picadera Sampler for 2 people. It came with Cajun fries, wings, chicharron, steak quesadillas, and tostones. Staff was friendly and welcoming and there was a DJ. For drinks we tried the Smoke & Mirrors and the Guava Margarita both were delicious but not super strong. Overall, awesome vibes

SHENG JIAN BAO - 9.99 These were made to order, freshly pan-fried alongside at least 50 other buns. They're pretty small, maybe two to three bites each, but they come out piping hot, which is when they're best eaten. The skin was thin but held up well to the filling and broth without any spillage issues. The pork filling was so juicy, and the broth was sweet and rich with pork flavor. My only complaint was that the top part of the bun was a bit stale rather than fluffy. Besides that, these were incredibly delicious. If we weren't on a food crawl, I definitely could have eaten a whole plate of these on my own, if not more. This spot was easily one of my favorite stalls of the entire crawl, and I can definitely see why people love it so much. 8/16/2026 Flushing Food Crawl #7 of 11
