Came here for a birthday celebration the staff was nice accommodating to our group. The ambiance is like a nice lounge vibe decorated very nicely and aesthetically pleasing. There are plenty of photo opportunities if you're into that. The staff was fun and friendly we had our server Jalapeño which was great and made sure we were ok at all times. Let's talk about food again these are just my honest opinion based on my experience. The tacos were lacking a bit flimsy and over priced for what you're getting not very filling. The Mac and cheese tasted sour not sure why it looked beautiful had a great cheese pull but it was not for me. The only thing we were eh about was having long black hair in 2 of the waters and in the mac and cheese. The sampler was delicious worth it, calamari delicious, the stake and mash was on point, the Birria quesadilla Was ok, the fajitas were best thing there and worth every penny and the esquite corn was amazing! Drinks were excellent strong and on point I love the blue lemon drop. They also have games for you to play with your friends which was something we wanted to do but one of our friends had to go to work so we had to skip it. I ordered a drink from the waiter and the drink took about 15-20 mins that disappointed me because I have gone before and the service was on point . A friend of mine saw this on IG and put it on our "to check out" list. We opted to finally go on a Friday evening for Happy Hour. We arrived maybe 30mins before Happy Hour was to end. The drinks I think are the star of the show. Who ever was the bartender did their big one. I felt as if they had a skilled mixoligist behind the bar. The service was very good. The staff was super friendly and everyone was hands on deck EXCEPT one person. I feel the need to mention this person in hopes that maybe her attitude will change. Her attitude would have made me say never again to this place however the other staff was so over the top it made up for her stank attitude. She herself may have been a manager. While I did not catch her name she is blond with thin waist length extensions and let's just put it nicely by saying she is hard to miss due to her very over exaggerated curves. However my waitress that evening Milly deserves her own personal review. Milly hands down understands the art of hospitality and guest services. We had such an amazing experience at LaVieMex on East Tremont!
