Sharlotte was great! This was my first time getting Botox and she did a great job explaining everything and doing the procedure.

In mid December, I read about a cosmetic procedure called Profound.  I was searching for providers,…read moreand learned about DiStefano Med Spa, and called and talked to Jessica.  Jessica said, they didn't like Profound, was selling the machine, and switching to Ultherapy.  Jessica said their patients liked Ultherapy, had gotten great results, and it was less invasive, and costs less.  I had never heard of Ultherapy, and told Jessica I wanted to do research.  Jessica said the cost for lower face and neck was $2300.  After doing research, I decided I wanted to try Ultherapy, and called Jessica to make an appointment, and to confirm the price.  Jessica was not at work, so I talked to Madison.  Madison said the cost was $2700.  I then said Jessica had told me the price was $2300, and then Madison changed the price to $2300.  The price must depend on who you ask, or what day you ask.  The fluctuating price should have been a red flag, but I still made the appointment.  I live 2 hours from Chattanooga, and on the day of the appointment, it was raining hard, there was road construction everywhere, there was heavy traffic, I had to stop for gas, and I also had forgotten about the hour time difference, and arrived 40 minutes late.  Prior to arriving, I was getting calls from Madison asking where I was.  When I arrived, I was escorted to the treatment room, and I was taking off my rain jacket, when I noticed I had stuck my credit card in my pocket when I had stopped for gas. I said to Madison, I am glad I found the card because I was going to pay with the card, and asked if that would be okay.  Madison said yes, but there would be a 3% charge for using a credit card.  In all the conversations, and texts, I had with personnel at DiStefano's, no one ever mentioned payment.  In fact, they hide the fact that they charge 3% on credit cards.  I didn't want to pay the 3%, and the nearest bank where I could get the cash was a 40 minute round trip.  That would have put Madison on overtime, and she said she had plans and could not stay, even though her plans didn't start until 8:00 PM.  I said I could Zelleo the money, but they said no.  DiStefano's offered to wave the 3% on a second visit, but why would I agree to a second visit, when I wasn't certain I would like the $2300 first visit.  DiStefano's would not wave the 3% on the day I was there, even though I had driven two hours to get there, and they didn't tell me in advance there would be a 3% charge for using a credit card.  I had no choice but to pay the 3%, or leave, so I left.  I was out 4+ hours of my day, tank of gas, and miles on my car, but DiStefano's was out $2300 and the loss of a potential long term customer.  In addition to all the turmoil regarding payment, Madison, a nurse, didn't seem experienced in the procedure, and had not had the procedure herself, except for her upper lip during a demonstration on how to use the equipment.  Go somewhere else.  Don't waste your time, and money with DiStefano's Medical Spa.

Extremely Disappointed - Still No Refund After 8 Weeks I had…read morea scheduled surgery on April 28. On the morning of the surgery, I was drug tested and was told that I tested positive for a substance I absolutely had not taken. Because of this, they canceled the surgery. I immediately went to an independent drug testing center and, as expected, tested clean. I submitted these results to my patient coordinator, and they acknowledged the error and offered me a full refund. That was 7 weeks ago. I've sent countless emails and made numerous phone calls, but still no refund. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and refuses to provide any meaningful updates. I took two weeks off work, paid for a hotel for two nights, and spent months preparing--only to be denied surgery due to what appears to be a faulty drug test and then completely ghosted after the fact. What's most frustrating is how different the experience is compared to how Dr. Deal presents himself online. He seems personable and caring on Instagram, but in reality, the aftercare and communication from both him and his staff have been awful. The rumors are true: they care before the surgery, but once your money is in, you're on your own. To make matters worse, they are extremely overpriced. I've since recommended three people elsewhere who paid half as much and had amazing results. I'm now in the process of taking legal action. I have all the emails that clearly show they agreed to a refund. Bottom line: Don't waste your time or money here.

I did not anticipate adding to an already expensive package and did not appreciate being asked to tip. Tipping is for waitresses making $2/hr and hairdressers, not medical professionals. But to be honest, while the program seems legitimate and effective, in the long run it's not worth it. To keep up with the calorie intake that they suggest is honestly impossible! And then when they offer additional weeks of "support", it's really not support. The support they offer is basic online webinars that you can pull up anytime on your own for free anyways. Do the injections work? Yes. You can lose a lot of weight with using hCG injections and a calorie intake of barely 500 a day. I mean you're basically starving yourself. And then when the program is over .... you gain all the way back plus more!!!!!! Unless you become basically anorexic.

Do not give them a credit card number or debit card number because they will charge it whenever they feel needed and they don't go by the written contract. There turnover rate for staff is horrible. Must be the manager who is running them off. The funny thing is the owner has no idea because the manager does not tell him everything. Make sure you read the fine print before signing anything with the manager Casey!!!!! She tries to be very sneaky don't let her fool you. Other than that I have lost some weight. The HCG she charged me for was 150.00 over priced as well. Go check other places prices and compare before you choose here.
