They took time to answer all my questions and make sure I understood everything. Looking forward to going back soon. I can't recommend them enough, definitely worth the trip from California! Truly an A+ office! 2-7-18 My first experience with SSA was so incredible that I had to come back! I recently had facetite and fat transfer performed by Dr. Nease, and once again I couldn't be happier! Dr. Nease and Dr. Deal went above and beyond with professionalism, knowledge, and kindness! They took time to explain the procedures in detail, as well as to answer all my questions. I am currently one day post op and already see a huge improvement. I have a separate neck and chin again. Once again, a huge thank you to Dr. Deal, Dr. Nease, and the entire SSA crew! I can't wait to see my final results. I seriously can't recommend SSA enough.. as always, A+ all the way!

Over the past year, I've been passed between three different surgery coordinators, all of whom have mysteriously stopped working there. Communication has become nearly impossible, and it's incredibly difficult to get ahold of anyone when you need help. The surgeons themselves are excellent, and I'm happy with my surgical results. Unfortunately, the patient experience no longer matches the quality of the surgeons. If you're looking for responsive communication and consistent support throughout the process, this may not be the right practice. The surgical work is great, but the overall experience is no longer worth the cost or frustration.

In mid December, I read about a cosmetic procedure called Profound.  I was searching for providers,…read moreand learned about DiStefano Med Spa, and called and talked to Jessica.  Jessica said, they didn't like Profound, was selling the machine, and switching to Ultherapy.  Jessica said their patients liked Ultherapy, had gotten great results, and it was less invasive, and costs less.  I had never heard of Ultherapy, and told Jessica I wanted to do research.  Jessica said the cost for lower face and neck was $2300.  After doing research, I decided I wanted to try Ultherapy, and called Jessica to make an appointment, and to confirm the price.  Jessica was not at work, so I talked to Madison.  Madison said the cost was $2700.  I then said Jessica had told me the price was $2300, and then Madison changed the price to $2300.  The price must depend on who you ask, or what day you ask.  The fluctuating price should have been a red flag, but I still made the appointment.  I live 2 hours from Chattanooga, and on the day of the appointment, it was raining hard, there was road construction everywhere, there was heavy traffic, I had to stop for gas, and I also had forgotten about the hour time difference, and arrived 40 minutes late.  Prior to arriving, I was getting calls from Madison asking where I was.  When I arrived, I was escorted to the treatment room, and I was taking off my rain jacket, when I noticed I had stuck my credit card in my pocket when I had stopped for gas. I said to Madison, I am glad I found the card because I was going to pay with the card, and asked if that would be okay.  Madison said yes, but there would be a 3% charge for using a credit card.  In all the conversations, and texts, I had with personnel at DiStefano's, no one ever mentioned payment.  In fact, they hide the fact that they charge 3% on credit cards.  I didn't want to pay the 3%, and the nearest bank where I could get the cash was a 40 minute round trip.  That would have put Madison on overtime, and she said she had plans and could not stay, even though her plans didn't start until 8:00 PM.  I said I could Zelleo the money, but they said no.  DiStefano's offered to wave the 3% on a second visit, but why would I agree to a second visit, when I wasn't certain I would like the $2300 first visit.  DiStefano's would not wave the 3% on the day I was there, even though I had driven two hours to get there, and they didn't tell me in advance there would be a 3% charge for using a credit card.  I had no choice but to pay the 3%, or leave, so I left.  I was out 4+ hours of my day, tank of gas, and miles on my car, but DiStefano's was out $2300 and the loss of a potential long term customer.  In addition to all the turmoil regarding payment, Madison, a nurse, didn't seem experienced in the procedure, and had not had the procedure herself, except for her upper lip during a demonstration on how to use the equipment.  Go somewhere else.  Don't waste your time, and money with DiStefano's Medical Spa.
