DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. Most unprofessional hairstylist I have ever worked with. Holly has damaged my hair. I tried to speak to her about it and instead she blocked my calls and she is avoiding me. I have made many attempts to contact owner Monica but she will not respond either. I only use professional hair products and take great care of my hair, I asked for a simple highlights touch up however Holly has over processed and fried my hair. With the amount of breakage I now have, I am afraid it is beyond repair. I am taking this matter to small claims court. I would suggest that others who have problems with this salon do the same. I used Salon Royval's hair and makeup services for our wedding back in October. Monica did an awesome job not just on my hair but also for my entire bridal party on our wedding day. Her work alone is impressive but she's also really fast! Like doing hair is just second nature for her. I saw her for a trial appointment the day before so I could also have hair done for rehearsal dinner and welcome party. I described what I wanted: a low and loose updo, slightly to the side and something comfortable that would hold up throughout the long day's activities. Since it was a trial she didn't do it exactly what it would be for the big day, but almost like a sketch of what it would generally look like. It took all of 10 minutes. Then she spent the rest of the appointment making my hair fabulous for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The next day she arrived on time and ready to go. She worked her way quickly though 2 moms, 3 bridesmaids, a flower girl, and then my hair. My mom wears a wig and Monica was very sweet to work through options with her; either styling her real hair, her wig, or just leaving her wig as-is. Monica wasn't offended when my mom decided just leaving her wig as it was since it made her most comfortable. She wants her clients to feel beautiful and comfortable and I really appreciate how she worked with my mom through that. Very professional. Candace and Holly did makeup for the entire bridal party. They were great and both really talented. Candace did my trial makeup the day before also for rehearsal. She asked me what kind of look I wanted and she executed! I'd call it classic glam. Shimmer lids and winged eyeliner. I wanted a natural-ish lip so I wouldn't have to worry about smudging or keeping up with it (honestly I'd have been happy with chapstick). She was able to create a low-maintenance lip that looked great in pictures and was smooch-friendly for my groom. Overall I was really happy with how hair and make-up turned out for myself and my bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely stunning in photos and in person, even by the end of the evening! read more

After listening to their long extremely long message for a 3td time, I called the "emergency" phone number to tell the owner that there were 3 attempts to make an appointment and I thought she may want to know about it. She then texted and apologized. She made an appointment via text for me. Day of appointment and 90 minutes prior, the stylist texted me asking me to reschedule. Haven't heard back from stylist or owner. Plenty of other salons in town. I booked an appointment with Holly, and misplaced where I wrote down the time. I assumed it was at 12:30pm. The salon opens at 10:00am. I called 8 times between the hours of 9:30am-11:30am, and no one answered the phone. I showed up at 12:15pm, found out that my appointment was at 12:00pm, and I was 15min late. I advised a girl named Karen that Holly didn't have to do my deep condition to save on time. Karen called Holly, and apparently she had left the salon. It would have been nice for her to call, why else would I provide my phone number while booking? I asked to speak to a manager, and Karen said that there was no one in charge there. I asked who owned the place and she would not tell me. I left. As I was walking out my wife, who had just come out of the bathroom, went up to the counter and asked what happened. Karen said that she didn't know, and had the nerve to call me CRAZY! My wife advised her that she should not be talking bad about another customer to her, let alone her wife. We will never be back. There are plenty of other salons that would appreciate my business. read more

The owner Candace is extremely unreliable. She booked 7 weddings the day of my friends wedding and then decided to not show up or return any phone calls or text messages the day of the wedding. She also required a full deposit because she said she had so many other brides who wanted to book that day. She pressured us into booking ASAP so we wouldn't lose our spot, but she clearly had no issues booking the other brides considering she had 7 weddings that day. She said my friend would get a full refund but of course she has seen nothing. So unprofessional and almost ruined the wedding day. Do not book here for weddings. read more

Found them on Groupon, it was nice that they had reserved parking spots for customers. Came in and they were very friendly, I didn't have to wait before getting started. Anyone who has had a Brazilian wax knows it can be so awkward, but Annie, was very easy to talk to and immediately put me at ease. No wax is comfortable, but she was quick, efficient, and that really helped make it more comfortable. I will definitely be going back! read more

I've gotten my nails done here twice and have been super pleased with the quality of work and service each time. I would definitely recommend going here for a manicure and/or pedicure--their nail lady is super thorough and friendly! You get your nails done in a separate area that has a TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc, they offer you refreshments, and it's overall very relaxing and fun. I'll definitely be checking SpaGo out for additional services, as I've been very pleased thus far! read more

I was here for a bridal spa party and would never recommend it to anyone. The owner has no clue how real spas and salons work. They were short a nail tech and then threw a hair person into the mix to do our nails. I waited over 3 hours to get any of my services. And then the owner lied to me about our actual scheduled time. She was rude, very difficult and passive aggressive. The customer is always right - especially when it's actually the salon owners' fault there are problems. Brittany did my hair and did a wonderful job. She's honestly the only saving grace of this salon/spa. If I was her I would find a new place to work! I hope the owner of this place gets it together. Learn how to run a business and learn how to run a spa party. It's a genius idea - but needs to be run more smoothly. read more

Wedding makeup trial: Pros: My hair stylist, Britney, was very nice and did a good job. After my disappointing makeup trial with Candace (the owner), I asked for a refund of my $420 investment; they did not reimburse me (not even partial), but they did offer another free trial ahead of my wedding. However, Candace later retracted this to a single hairdo. Candace said she would not take offense to any corrections I asked for, and she did match the color of my neck to the color of my face when I asked. Cons: They charge $420 for wedding and trial hair and makeup. The Blowout (another high quality local salon) charges $270 for the same services, that's a 36% premium for a lower quality service. I expected that since I was paying a premium, I would get to do some "trial an error" on my "trial" day. However, Candace had booked a client immediately after me, so we did not have time for a feedback talk, which I thought was the whole point of the trial. Candace had a conversation with her next client (who had arrived early) most of the time she was working on me, I was not given an opportunity to provide feedback during the makeup application. The makeup caused an acne breakout the same day of the trial. Candace would not let me open my eyes during application, so I don't know if she used clean brushes or not. Note that the client she talked to the whole time had severe cystic acne and was a regular, which makes me worry even more. The eyeshadow she used caused a reaction that had my eyes peeling and swollen for the next three days. Makeup around smile lines started cracking an hour after application. Eyebrows were filled in like blocks, not very well blended At the beginning of the trial Candace asked me what I would like, I showed her my Pinterest board for eyes and she just got started, we did not talk about what I wanted for the rest of my face. At the end, she did a good job on my eyes, but it was all the wrong colors (my pictures were natural pink and brown, I walked out with a metallic silver and black palette). The rest of the face was bad, the nose was not sufficiently contoured, my face did not match my neck and my pores looked huge with the shimmery makeup. I asked her to match my neck and she did so, when I asked if she could change the makeup on my cheeks she said that there was nothing she could do about it. I know for sure there was because I use products on my daily routine that give me much better results than what her "professional" products did. Candace agreed to send me a check with a refund the week after the trial after I talked to my wedding planner about her. Then Candace debated the refund amount, then she did not confirm how much she would refund me. Two weeks later when I followed up she did not reply, a week after I called the salon and she replied a day later saying that she would not give me a refund at all because of her policies which were in the contract. If she had said that from the beginning it would not have been that bad, but the way she handled it was just shady. Front desk ladies would not make eye contact and had a demeaning tone. read more

Had an AMAZING experience. Had a microdermabrasion performed by Candace and she was great and explained everything to me. Asked me constantly if I was comfortable. Wasn't expecting what all came with the microderm. I got a facial and and a hand softening treatment. Needless to say the experience was great and I will be going back! read more

I can't say enough great things about Candace and her team. They arrived at the venue in a timely manner, and did a BEAUTIFUL job on all of our hair and make-up. We got married in the blazing Georgia summer heat, and my make-up and hair still looked as great at the end of the night as it did after it was first done. I felt beautiful the entire night. I have been going to SpaGo for years for microdermabrasion services. I recently had an appointment at their new location. They did not seem to know I had an appointment. They told me to wait. I waited about 15-20 minutes before they called me back to a small, crowded room. There didn't seem to be any microdermabrasion equipment in the room. At previous location they had a room reserved only for microdermabrasion. I waited another 10-20 minutes and no one came to check on me or start treatment. I finally decided to leave. I told them I had to leave. Their response was "okay". No apology or ask about rescheduling. I won't be back. read more

I visited SpaGo for a bachelorette girls' day. Before booking i spoke to Candace, who assured me she was the owner of the salon and they specialized in spa parties. She told me we would have a private room where we could set up decorations, order in food, and otherwise relax and enjoy our day together. There were 5 of us total in our party. 3 of us, myself included, were coming from out of town so we heavily relied on the internet and Candace's promises. I guess I should have been more concerned when I had to call 3 times to confirm the party (after I paid the deposit to secure the date) before hearing back. Candace again called and apologized for the oversight and offered to refund me the deposit. Considering the deposit goes towards the services, it was a nice gesture, but i also wasn't getting any type of compensation. After booking I received a text message asking if we could change our time from morning to afternoon. Sure, no problem. After all, Candace had told me the party would only run 2.5 hours and they would coordinate the services to make sure it ran smoothly and efficiently. We arrived at 2pm for our 2pm appointment and they were in no way prepared for our visit. After almost 20 minutes of waiting for the front desk to print a form we were required to sign and for the nail room to be prepared for the first pedicure, we were told there was no private room but we could sit in the lobby of the salon. There were multiple hair dryers running (because it is a salon) and two kids under the age of 4 running around. I'm not bothered by kids, but not what I had in mind for enjoying mimosas with girlfriends at a bachelorette party. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating. Interestingly they asked when we booked the party because Candace had turned the "private room" into a treatment room several months prior. Candace of course was out of town and not there this day. Unfortunately the 2.5 hour party ended up taking over 5 hours so I couldn't even stay the whole time to enjoy my friends. And since I had to leave early, someone else paid for me and that deposit which was never waived was not credited towards my service. I have called Candace at the salon and on her cell phone multiple times since having the party in an effort to allow her to refund the overcharge without luck. I'm giving two stars because the service was nice but the atmosphere was not what I expected and I would not recommend this place to a friend. read more

Highly recommended, very disappointed. 4 person bridal party, from Illinois & N.C. Appointments made weeks prior to 9-5 wedding date. Bride assured 3 stylist for hair and makeup (round robin) for 12:00 appointment. Didn't happen. We left Spago at 3:30. An hour late to wedding venue for scheduled pictures. I'm extremely underwhelmed :( The stylist was very nice, but she didn't actually understand what a "blowout" is or the basic technique- sectioning and blow drying with a round brush. The whole point of paying someone $30 to wash, dry and style your hair (no cutting or trimming, just styling) is because they efficiently section out and blow dry your hair with a round brush, lifting and rotating to create big full voluminous curls that last for a few days with a little maintenance. My stylist rough dried my hair occasionally lifting it with a paddle brush for 15 mins or so and then lightly drying it straight with a brush. This doesn't create any lift or volume and isn't very different from what I do at home, except that she used less suitable products instead of the higher quality Kevin Murphy products they sell up front (the same as I use at home and specifically mentioned to her I preferred them and only them). She also didn't use any volumizing spray or anything to create volume in the crown, despite my request for "big hair with lots of volume" and focused more on getting it to dry straight and roughly flat and then compensated by curling with a curling iron after the fact. As a result it was flat and limp through the crown, and her attempts to lift it with a larger barrel curling iron weren't working. When she was done and asked what I thought, there were odd tangled flat spots in the front that looked really bad, so I asked if I could flip my head and shake it out and if she had any of the KM session hairspray they carry. She grabbed some from a coworkers station and kindly let me borrow it. Because I was going back to work and didn't want to leave there with messy hair I sprayed some in the roots and rubbed to create a little texture and fluffed to correct the tangles and flat spots, but it still didn't look great. To her credit, I'm sure if I had made any request to improve it she would have happily tried, but there was no way to compensate for the fact that the blow drying hadn't been done properly. So I thanked her, gave her a 15% tip for effort, and resolved never to go back there for a blowout. I'd like to emphasize that the stylist and other employees were very kind and professional and I was very satisfied with her manner and attitude, but I don't think the establishment has trained them to give a proper blowout service, and by the time I figured it out, it was really too late. Feel free to try some other service there, but I'd skip the blowout. It's definitely NOT worth $30! I've had great blowouts, but this just wasn't one of them. read more

Had to reschedule after waiting for 40 minutes, and still wasn't called back. Very disappointed because I have a couple of events coming up this week and had waited a month for this appointment. Now I will have to go to these event definitely not feeling my best. The only excuse I was given was that another stylist had left early with someone still on her schedule, so my stylist had to pick up that client instead. I guess that person was more important than me. At least that's how it felt because they literally gave away my appointment to someone who was down to actually see another stylist. It seems impossible to get good service in this town. I think I'm going to have to go to Nashville to have my hair done. read more

I have been to Spa Go for a Botox party and to get my hair cut and colored. Both experiences were fantastic. I was nervous to get Botox the first time, but was made to feel very comfortable. Brittany cut and colored my hair and it looks the best it has in years. She listened to what I wanted and talked through options before starting. Overall there is a good vibe at SG that makes you feel like you are at home amongst friends. read more
