She asked some questions regarding the wax to ensure I had a great experience and started working. During the appointment, we had a bit of small talk while she worked and each time she would rip the wax off, Dayna would make sure I was good. After the appointment, I paid and thanked her for the service as she did a tremendous job and told her I would be returning. I don't live in the Cleveland/Chatt area as I was visiting family but each time I make the drive up here and decide I need a wax, I'll be sure to book with Dayna again! I visited Sharon the esthetician when I first got back from LA after traveling for work for 7 months and I found her via yelp with her wonderful reviews. I'm so glad I did. I have been battling some acne scars and some hormonal acne for sometime and Sharon did an amazing job on me, and I've seen so much progress in the last month. I have visited nice salons in Los Angeles, atlanta, San Francisco, and many other nice areas but no one has made my skin look and feel like Sharon has. Like I said this was my 2nd time seeing her, a month after my first visit, and I truly could see so much progress. She taught me to not touch my face which I knew but always forgot, she taught me to roll my face with a ice bottle to help with inflammation, and also foods to eat and those to avoid. I will also say, I had been severely over-threaded in my teenage years and had been growing my brows out (only getting them cleaned up) for almost 2 years to allow regrowth. I don't know that my story was heard fully during my visit or that the brow shape given to me with a high arch fits me. They look really good but I'm not currently in love with them. I still say that Kimmie does a fantastic job there and her salon is beautiful, BUT... On December 26th, I went to K Joy and they were closed. I needed to get my nails done THAT day. I had been to this salon about 2 years ago and it was just ok. Very basic nail options. A full set took forever. Only accepted cash from their cash machine that charged a fee and the lady that owned it also owned the froyo place and spent most of the time pushing her food on everyone which also only accepted cash... that always seems shady to me. I saw some newer fantastic reviews and decided to give them another try. I am BLOWN away! The salon is totally different. Tons of absolutely BEAUTIFUL options. It seems as though it has new owners. I was a walk-in with no appointment, yet I was greeted immediately and given a seat to get started even though they were busy. They do accept cards now and no mention of food. Lol. Vi did the most beautiful set of dip nails and at a great price (about $15 less for a full set of dip nails in an ombre style). She put so much extra effort into making sure that my hands and nails were beautiful. From a very thorough trimming of my cuticles (not just relying on the grinder and filing) to massaging my hands after the nails were complete. You get the full manicure treatment in addition to beautiful nails. King was helping and very sweet and friendly. At 48 years old and having had my nails done since I was a teenager, I can honestly say these are my favorite nails ever. I can't stop looking at them. I will definitely be back with no hesitation. Please pardon the old wrinkly hands and bad picture. They are 1000 times prettier in person. Don't hesitate to come here or if you'd been here in the past, like me, come back and see all the new options and give them another try. You won't regret it!
