I've been a few times and Its not really worth it.. the service is absolutely horrible. First, they don't wash or sanitize hands between clients. Second, they don't listen to what you want, I had asked for my eyebrows to be waxed and she ignored me and proceed to thread my eyebrows. There was one time when she didn't let the wax cool a bit before applying and it left a scar on my eyebrow and upper lip for a month, WHEN I HAD TOLD HER IT WAS TOO HOT INITIALLY. HORROR I have never had a problem here getting my eyebrows done but I decided to try out there Brazilian wax that I had gotten one other time at the same location (months ago) But today was the one of the WORST wax experiences I have ever gotten. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Extremely unprofessional and careless service. Had a lash lift and tint and henna brows. Severe chemical burn to eye area and fried gumpy lashes. I had no makeup on but noted that the lady didn't take the time to cleanse and prep the area. Used a mascara wand and fingers to perform service. Yelled and assaulted me bc I took pictures of myself and told her that the service was not good. My eyes were burning. Did Not offer a professional rinse for the eyes. And refused to allow me to view shop and personal license. I called mall security and we settled the issue for the evening per officer instructions. DO NOT GO HERE!!! These guys do the best waxing I have ever seen! I recommend them to everyone. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because Unfortunately, last time i was there i waited for about 20 minutes and when it was my turn someone who came in after me got helped before me because one of the workers was not checking the list. I don't get my eyebrows done often but when I do, I know the look I'm going for. During my visit today I kept telling the beautician how I would like my eyebrows and she kept insisting they are okay the way she made them. After two attempts my eyebrows are not how I wanted them and she told me I am "too picky" as she swiped my card. I believe that the customer should decide whether he or she would like his or her eyebrows skinny or thick and arched or straight; not the beautician. read more

I took recommendation from the Queen of Yelp Stephanie. I walked in with no appointment and was greeted promptly. Sofi took me right away. She was so kind. It was quicker than expected. With waxing i always swell and breakout instantly. This didn't do any of that. I'm hooked on threading. $10 that's less than the$12 I've been paying for waxing. The shop is nice and quiet. I have been coming here for a few years. And I always leave satisfied with the eyebrow and face threading! It's so much more efficient than the waxing I got done in highschool and I love the shape of my brows. Also, they do henna tattoos here! If you have never done henna, it's beautiful and temporary. This is the only threading place i know of in Chattanooga, and they do a great job. Beauty Xpress is located in the mall on the top level next to Dillard's. This place on the weekdays is your best bet to go. Unfortunately i find myself coming on the weekends way too many times and there is always a longggg line. Thankfully the ladies there do a great job and it goes by fairly quickly. I've been here 3-4x and each time it's been quick, fairly painless, and always great work. I have come to love threading so much more than waxing and it also lasts longer and less painful in my opinion. Beauty Xpress charges $10, so that's more then the usual $8 i pay for in Atlanta but since i have no other places to go when I'm up in Chattanooga i don't mind paying the extra few bucks. read more

This might be the only place to get threaded. But, the woman nicked my eye, taking out a chunk of skin. I'm new to Chattanooga but have getting threaded for the last 15+ years and have never had that happen. Second visit, another woman missed so much hair that I ended up having to tweeze when I got home to better light. Not worth it. Severely disappointed. read more

Went about a month and a half ago for eyebrow waxing and got amazing treatment, however, I went back for a pre-spring break treat to get myself ready. My eyebrow is still healing and scabbed over where to threading cut into my skin. The technicians did not listen to what I asked for when I specifically no threading. Depending on the person, they will do good service, however it is nearly impossible to get them to listen to requests. read more

I have been to Beauty Xpress in the past and never had a bad experience. Today's visit was awaful. I told the lady 3 times that i just want my eyebrows cleaned up only!!!! I told her that I do not want my eyebrows thin. I had a nice and full pair of eyebrows before the lady touched me. she changed the shape of my arch and they are thin. the tech didnt listen at all. I have been coming to Beauty Xpress for over two years now at the Hamilton Place location. I used to only ask for Riz because she did such a great job, but eventually let others thread my brows with no complaints! I always left super satisfied and confident about my new brows. Unfortunately, today when I went in a new, very young looking girl threaded my brows. They are noticeably uneven, one is much thinner than the other (I prefer thicker brows anyway). This place is cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for. Incredibly rude staff and did my eyebrows in all of 4 mins. Now, I am stuck with eyebrows with 2 completely different shapes. It's in a convenient location if you're in the mall, but I recommend saving your money and going somewhere that will actually say more than 2 words to you and actually knows how to do eyebrows. read more

Not Bad!!! I recently moved here from Detroit where I'm used to seeing brow and lash shops all over the city. I came across this hidden jewel in Hamilton Place Mall this weekend and I was impressed with their work as well as their service....and prices. I was with my daughter and they didn't mind watching her while (Fay?) threaded my brows. Though I don't think I will ever get used to the threading feeling, the end result is nice, clean, and pretty.:) I'm willing to go back and try their waxing services....I'll keep you posted. read more

Riza is a top aesthetician as well as eye row shaping specialist too. I used to go to Maham but since she got married I am grateful for Riza. I would only go to her for facials and eyebrow shaping/threading. Maham is your goto person if you want perfect eyebrows. I would only go to her!. ( PRICE & LOCATION are gr8) It has been said before they do NOT listen to your request, my eyebrows are very thick and have great shape but the woman that did mine completely ruined my natural brow shape. PLEASE READ! Okay so me and my friend decided to go here to get our eyebrows threaded and tinted. I had thick, beautiful eyebrows with a few strays. I was exspecting them to shape up a little and get the strays. When I sat up, I had nearly NO eyebrow left. They are SO THIN. I have cried all day and already gotten things to help them grow back. DO NOT do this to yourself! Learn from our mistake! It was the worst thing I have ever done and will take so long to grow back how they used to be!
