Business responded to my original review saying they'd re-do my nails and hope I'll give them another chance but this is untrue. I just called them to schedule an appointment to come in and have them redo my nails (per their yelp response) and I was told that they are not going to re-do them. I had a feeling this might be the case, which is why I called ahead of time. So they are literally responding to peoples reviews and lying to try and make themselves look better. I absolutely love this place! I'm new to town....so after calling a few places I went with classy nails because they were friendly on the phone and have a discount going on right now! I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. It is a family establishment, and new owner, Lee, took over about 4 months ago. Super clean, very fast and my nails came out great! Everyone was nice and I loved the service. I never felt pushed into anything and ended up upgrading to cat eye nails AND went for a regular pedi while I was at it (I originally came for gel manicure with a French tip only lol) I was done a little within the hour and was given sandals to walk out. They take cash and card, and you get a stamp card for free future services. I recommend 100% I would post my toes but I'm self conscious lol. But they came out great as well. I've been pleased with the pedicures, and my daughter enjoys the acrylics. The facility isn't fancy, but it's clean and quaint.

I have visited several times since ownership changed. At first it was great. The last several times I've went with an appointment and still had to wait a while. The last time they put tips on they were so thick and just looked horrible. I also got a pedicure at the time. After an hour and half into the pedicure I had to tell them to finish up. I was in there for almost 3 hours for the appointment. On top that the pedicure was horrible too - you could see so much of the gel outside of the nail area. Also, I understand that sometimes you can't find childcare, but everytime that I have been in - their young child is in there. This is a place I want to be able to relax and unwind which is hard to do when you have a child constantly making noise, etc.. I won't be going back. read more

I definitely recommend this place. They are kind, professional, prices are great,the business is clean, excellent job on my and my granddaughter's nails. We both received manicures and pedicures.I noticed that if other customers needed to wait, those wait times were acknowledged by the staff and apologies offered. If I could give this place 0 stars I probably would. The only thing going for them is that they have newer pedicure chairs and the salon seems to be clean. That's about the only thing going for them... The nail polish selection is limited to OPI only - I prefer to have OPI and Essie for more options. I don't get manicures all that often (maybe once every 2 months) but I've certainly had enough to know a good one from a bad. This one was even worse... I pick at my cuticles so I really count on my manicurist to get my cuticles trimmed and looking presentable. This was absolutely not the case at this place. I could have done a better job. Then to make matters worse, she didn't even ask if I'd like my nails cut, filed or what shape I preferred. She just did whatever she pleased. And don't even get me started on the paint job.... I could do a better job with my eyes closed. It's currently 2 days post-mani and it looks like I've had my mani for over a week the way everything is chipping. Bottom line: NEVER EVER EVER EVER get a mani/pedi here unless you want to spend $14 on be utterly disappointed. read more

I was looking for any nail salon near me because I really needed a pedicure. I was driving to Starbucks and decided to stop here do not go this place! 1. The color selection is terrible 2. Oh no. No no no no noooooooah. I have never experienced as a customer a place such as this. First visit and the lady doing my pedicure appeared angry. Another customer and the gentleman up the way we're having a fairly heated discussion about the costs associated with her service. Arguing and didn't make for a comfortable environment especially when the lady doing my pedicure appeared to not only be angry but more I tunes with the conversation taken place. She would look at them then me as if to show her how disgusted she was with the other customer. She got up from doing my pedicure and walked to the opposite end to sit with another employee and go in there language about what was happening. Once she returned to me I could tell she was even more infuriated. She put the wrong color in my toes and I simply told her too light not the right color. Then showed her which one I picked out. She immediately got on her knees while I was at the nail bar and proceeded to repaint my toes. Im guessing this was over the top for her and she the. Went to do my fill. She cut them too short without asking me about length. Then shaped them square after I asked her if I could have them rounded. I wanted a color combo of black and dark berry. She said no. One color or the other. Ok. So no more classy nails for me. Still looking for my nail salon in Chattanooga. read more

I asked for a gel manicure. It was definitely no frills, though owner Philip was very nice. Not a large color selection. Once home, I had to break my skin away from a lot of the gel- was a messy job- and then re-shape. Probably will not return. read more

Absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever had. The gentleman was there alone doing a ladies nails. He could not locate his wife to help. He put me at the pedi bowl to soak. He left the lady that he was working on to start my pedi. He called his wife several times yelling very loud. He was so ruff on me. I thought at one point he was going to pull my foot off. Whole pedi lasted 15 minutes. When his wife came in he started screaming at her. I was so uncomfortable. Not to mention no form of sanitizing anything. Just a rinse and put at another station. This is the WORST nail salon experience I have ever had!!!! After recently moving to Chattanooga from near ATL Georgia I was looking for a new salon and Classy Nails was very near my home. I will NEVER be back. The manicurist did not use a single bit of lotion, cuticle oil or even water on my hands! She then proceeded to massacre my cuticles, buffing them until they bled in several areas! After the first scratch I pulled back a bit and said it was hurting me. She said "I had a lot of cuticle..." Okay....? She did it again until I was bleeding on 3 nails! When she applied my gel polish and had me rest in the UV light she had painted too thick and it glooped over very unevenly. When I showed her she could not understand what I said and would not fix it. A male employee, perhaps the manager had to come over and help. He used the mechanical grinder to fix the mistake and the result was fine. However the NEXT DAY one of the gel nails completely popped off like a false nail. So I was left with 4 scabbed fingers on my cuticles and 9 semi gelled nails, with one natural. Terrible!!! Do not go here!!!!! read more
