Found this salon when recently moved to Chattanooga by looking on Instagram every single hair hashtag I could think of. I needed a color correction, a haircut and Mia took outstanding care of me. She is extremely detailed, patient, spot on with her ideas and knowledge. I also really like their service, on Saturdays they offer some baked goods with mimosas, pet friendly salon as well. I will be coming back to get ready for my wedding very soon. The Eufora products they use have been really good to my hair, I now use the shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis. This is such a hip and experienced salon! Their vibe is reminescent of my San Francisco days. Since the salon is located in my neighborhood, I thought I'd check it out. I needed to find a more experienced stylist for the long run, as my hair gets curlier with age it seems. And this salon is following current CDC guidelines. So, I booked my hair appointment online, called when I was parked nearby, and their stylist Shelley greeted me at the door. She was wearing a mask and the place looked absolutely sanitary. While I was sitting in her chair, we discussed how I wanted my hair to look and her feedback on length and texture recommendations. At some point during my cut, the owner came in. Rosemary cut my hair and took time to really Maltese I was clear on what I wanted, double checking at several points if the cut was looking right since I had never been there before. Foils in hair for 5 hours and fried it. Owner-stylist seemed distracted and frankly not interested in me, my hair or my business. It was bizarre. Service was in 2023 so maybe it's different or I went on a bad day but my hair is still recovering. read more

Extremely expensive $440 highlights and short haircut. Hair turned out purple and dark brown- certainly not the blonde with highlights that I expected. Also for these processes that usually take 2.5 hours - it took over 5 hours. Very disappointed!!! read more

I've been here twice and saw two different stylists. Despite me showing pictures and describing what I wanted in detail, I left the salon both times with a cut way shorter than my comfort zone and it took several weeks before it grew out enough for me to like it. I like the atmosphere but I felt like both stylists had a picture of what they thought I would look good with instead of following what I actually asked for. Everything and more that a girl could ask for!! I went to see Jerritt after a hair mess up by another salon. He sat with me and talked out everything from pricing to the process all together. He even asked my budget and offered up snacks and drinks during the entire 7 hour process. Everyone that works in the salon was friendly and acted more like they were all family than colleagues. Who am I kidding...I even got to hold a puppy while there!! It was hair heaven. 7 hours, 1 food delivery, and some chemistry later- I looked magazine ready!! I could have cried. I came in with damaged, mismatched color treated hair and somehow Jerritt had my hair the shade I was originally after AND had it feeling soft and healthy. I can't compliment Ed/it staff and Jerritt enough. Oh! I also love how inclusive the salon is. Watching clients come in and out...one in a wheelchair, another dying her hair a bright yellow hue, a patron getting waxed. Everyone was treated not like a client but family. Would definitely recommend this diamond of a salon!!!! read more

My hair nightmare My experience at edit salon was terrible! It took 5 and a half hours and $200 later and I walked out with not even close to what I asked for not to mention I have red spots on my face and when I asked Jerritt If we can get that off he said it will eventually come off! I'm all about being understanding and I am non combative but this is ridiculous. I feel as if all he was trying to do is sell me products from the salon. Now my hair looks better then it was but not no over 5 hours there and lots of damn money spent better.... my time was not valued my money was not well spent and I was not the only one sitting there for a ridiculous amount of hours looking stupid! I felt like my vision of my hair was not unrealistic the pictures I showed him was of me with a previous hair color so it's not like it can't happen I didn't rip this unrealistic photo out of a magazine! In conclusion I would not recommend this place or go back and spend my hard earned money there again. And a side note the person who referred me tried to reach out to them and ask them wtf and was ignored so I tried to be reasonable and I've never had to write a bad review about a business I work at a place that thrives off the surveys or review so I know how this goes!! read more
