On the morning of the surgery, I was drug tested and was told that I tested positive for a substance I absolutely had not taken. Because of this, they canceled the surgery. I immediately went to an independent drug testing center and, as expected, tested clean. I submitted these results to my patient coordinator, and they acknowledged the error and offered me a full refund. That was 7 weeks ago. I've sent countless emails and made numerous phone calls, but still no refund. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and refuses to provide any meaningful updates. I took two weeks off work, paid for a hotel for two nights, and spent months preparing--only to be denied surgery due to what appears to be a faulty drug test and then completely ghosted after the fact. What's most frustrating is how different the experience is compared to how Dr. Deal presents himself online. He seems personable and caring on Instagram, but in reality, the aftercare and communication from both him and his staff have been awful. The rumors are true: they care before the surgery, but once your money is in, you're on your own. To make matters worse, they are extremely overpriced. I've since recommended three people elsewhere who paid half as much and had amazing results. I'm now in the process of taking legal action. I have all the emails that clearly show they agreed to a refund. Bottom line: Don't waste your time or money here.

The needle is so tiny that you barley feel it go in, and the syringe is so small you don't feel anything go in. Low-Calorie Diet: MINDSET IS KEY! This is a VERY strict diet, and aside from the injections, plays the biggest role in your weight loss success. Depending on how much you want to lose, you will be on this strict diet for a minimum of 21 days, or 40 days max if you have over 30 pounds to lose. I recommend doing your research first on the HCG Diet. I'd recommend Googling "The HCG Chica" to watch her step-by-step journey, as she explains in full detail the phases you'll go through, the VLCD (Very low-calorie diet), what foods you will be restricted to, and more. The HCG injections WILL help curb your appetite, but I personally went a little further and had Phentermine prescribed to me as well to suppress my appetite further. If you follow the diet protocol perfectly, there's no doubt you will be successful! And to drop a pound a day is very exciting to look forward to every morning! Don't be nervous. I'm 34, 5'11" and was 205, now 173! For my height, that definitely made a huge difference in my appearance and how I feel mentally and health-wise.
