I decided to go with Maris for 4 reasons (1) her instagram showed all shapes and sizes of brows, not just a one size fits all. (2) her prices, by far the best in town (3) she is first and foremost a makeup artist, so I felt she had a keen understanding of shapes and colors, and (4) my friend used her and she looked amazing. The day of my appointment came, and I can't lie, I was so nervous. What was I thinking getting tattooed on my FACE?! But I looked at her Instagram page again, looked in the mirror at my sad brows, and got out of my car and entered her salon. Maris is just straight up cool and laid back. She made me feel comfortable and listened to me say, over and over again, that I wanted them to look natural. She was patient and went over everything. The first question people ask me is "did it hurt?" Not. One. Bit. I attribute this to the numbing cream and Maris's touch. When I was finished, she gave me instructions on what to do the next 2 weeks. I taped the instructions to my bathroom mirror and took care of my brows just as I was instructed. And....
