He paid 140$ and I paid 150$ to get our bloodwork done and find out the results just to be told we would each have to pay another 140$ to have the results explained to us. I would give some staff members a five star rating but the fact that the owner will not follow through on her own promises drags down the review.

They have several providers but most are not doctors. One visit I waited "hours" past my appointment time to see the provider to get my lab results.. They never bothered to call and inform me that there was going to be a delay. I sat and waited and was made to feel like my time didn't matter. I have been prescribed medications that I am allergic to at least twice. One provider sent the wrong medication to the pharmacy 3x and each time it was wrong. Three times we paid for the wrong medication. I had been taking it for years, and I feel there was no excuse for the screw ups! The owner of the practice, a doctor, prescribed medication for me that should never been prescribed for a Type 1 Diabetic. The insert from the pharmaceutical company, plainly states for Type 2 diabetic patients. The office staff are very rude and unprofessional. They do not relay messages in a timely manner. They talk over you instead of listening when you have a problem. Recently, one of the office staff even insulted me without cause, instead of being helpful. I had a medical condition that has been overlooked for years, and the one provider that cared left 3 or 4 years ago. She was the best doctor in the place. She cared and that's more than I can say about most of them. Their mistakes have been too many. Their mistakes have put my health and life in jeopard! They use computers to document your visits and health, but still don't read your chart to see your allergies & health issues before prescribing. when I finally stood up for myself about a staff member, it was never addressed. Instead they sent a letter telling me they would no longer provide services to me. Which was fine because, I had already fired them as my health care providers, and had already found a new doctor. The doctor who owns the practice cares more about the mighty dollar, his fancy cars, lavish vacations, and opening up more locations and extending the services they offer, instead of taking care of their patients that have been with them for 20+ years.

Time goes on and I receive a letter that I owe them an additional $25.00 which was incorrect. I was advised to call insurance. I did, and insurance advised me that Prestige has to deal with it. I pass that information to Prestige and nothing progressed from there. Today, I was sick and went to Prestige, Jasper location. They tell me I have a charge on my account and refuse to see me unless I pay it. I explained the situation. They didn't care, demanded $25 or no service. They could see where I had called in to try to correct the problem to them but blamed me that it was unresolved and refused service unless I gave them more money for a coding error they made. I asked to speak with someone. This person showed zero compassion that I was sick, told me the bill is going to collections, and that it was my problem to fix. I left sick with a bill going to collections when I did absolutely nothing wrong and have never not paid a co payment in full prior to every visit.

Time for my update and experience as of 09/28/14…read more I am going to share my whole story for those that care and are considering a similar cosmetic/life changing medical enhancement procedure : Abdominoplasty aka the "tummy tuck". That's exactly what I underwent and I couldn't be more pleased with the results even in this early stage of healing. It has been a mere 6 days since my procedure was performed at the skilled expertise hands of Dr. Chad Deal of Southern Surgical Arts located in Calhoun, GA. (They have a second medical building in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well.) Now, for those of you who may judge or have something negative to comment or think, -go ahead and waste your time, - you simply won't hurt my feelings. Now, where was I? Okay, let share the reason why I choose this route. 16 years ago yesterday, -I had my first and only child and my abdominal wall was naturally stretched out. Now, in most cases, the abdominal wall snaps back with proper exercise, care, etc. - but I was one of those that unfortunately dismissed exercise at that time and just settled with the bit of hanging skin that was left behind. Skip ahead to 2009. That is when I realized exercise was quite beneficial and not only lost many many pounds, - but got in great shape by mid 2010 and looked pretty good with my clothes ON. Fact. Well, during this time I even was doing 3 sets of 500 crunches 3x a day. A little tighter stomach but still the extra skin and not close to a bikini body. Jump ahead to this year. In April I joined X3 Sports in Inman Park after packing a good 25 pounds back on (slowly) over this past 16 months or so. And I even went with a personal trainer, the whole works. -At one time I had a record of hitting X3 Sports 89, -yes EIGHTY NINE days in a row. Still the sagging loose skin. -rest of my body showed great improvement. Enter abdominoplasty consultations : 4 of them. The first one (located in Midtown) told me I could get it almost right away and would be good to go in a week for a reunion in California I was hoping to attend. WRONG. UNREALISTIC. ***INTERUPTION! I actually have my follow up appt shortly in Calhoun so I have to continue this when I return. Hopefully getting my tubes out today. Oh, and it turns out that NO amount of exercise would have EVER given me these much-to-be desired (early) results. My abdominis rectus was over 5 1/2 cm separated and unattached. Thank You, Dr. Deal. I love this talented, warm, realistic, personable Doctor. So, the bottom line is that if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, -message me and I can even send You the "before and after" pics, - what was cut off and sucked out, -me still on the operating table after the procedure, - and me today, -8 days later. (I don't know how well those pics would be received if I post them here, lol..) Anyway, I made the best decision EVER. Billing Blunders!!!! I had a precancerous mole removed from my back may 2026. I asked beforehand if…read moreI could have an estimate for this appointment as I would be using a health spending account to pay. I was advised the amount would be less than $20 so I booked the appointment. Everything was fine with the procedure but to my surprise when I went back to have the stitches removed I was told my balance was over $800. I asked why - it took several weeks and multiple phone calls and emails but I was advised "when benefits were pulled, the system was pulling amounts from last year. Since they billed through the day of surgery they did not run a new estimate (?) When the claim was processed it was processed with this years benefits" So now I'm stuck with a much larger amount due. They are allowing me to pay on a 12 monthly payment plan is the only positive outcome for this unexpected balance.
