A Goldilocks Tale. Booked a visit with a couple girlfriends for massages. One described her massage as a "tickle me elmo" experience where she asked for more pressure and was given none. One's massage was okay but cut short due to a "miscommunication" of scheduled booking time. This was addressed, and to an extent it felt like we were being gaslit a bit. The last's massage was worthy of praise and received it. Overall, we felt this place could step up their game. Calling it a spa and not offering spa experiences (robes, appropriate waiting areas for groups) and not advising someone where the rest of their party is made it just a very mid experience. The rooms were nice, the tea offerings were good (no obvious place to put used mugs though). And if you're going alone, maybe just ask for Zac and you'll be in good hands from a massage perspective. read more

Andrea the coordinator could not have been more accommodating in the scheduling and planning process and made the experience so easy to create! The review is mainly for the masseuse and not entirely of the spa.** I had a massage with a male masseuse, I always normally have a female but I assumed they would be equally professional. I was wrong. I won't go into specifics but suffice to say- he took a lot of liberty and I cut the massage short 25 minutes into it. It was supposed to be 85. I felt groped instead of actual technical massage and he burnt me and with the hot stones. I ran out of there when I felt it was not appropriate. The front office woman was very nice and understandably did not charge me for it. I would urge management to have a chat with this individual about boundaries and professionalism and technique. read more

For "Spa" to be in the name it should probably be removed there is no separate bathrooms, locker room or lounge area. There is 1 public bathroom in check in area. I asked for male 80 minute deep massage. I don't think deep is in his vocabulary at all it was very swedish. He would take lake 20-60 seconds break every 5-15 minutes pretending to get lotion? Maybe checking his phone? I don't know. I get biweekly massages this was just weird. My husband did the signature 80 minute massage with a woman. He said it was just ok- not great, not horrible. The place is clean, but room upstairs was too hot. He also gave himself water and never offered me any afterwards. read more

We had a good couples massage here, complete with champagne and one chocolate apiece afterwards. Both therapists were great and did some techniques I hadn't experienced before. They also used hot rocks and some other heating pads. I will say the massage table I was on was a little rickety and kept squeaking....may want to invest in a new one :-) I also saw there were cups and a place where a water dispenser should have been...I would've liked the option of some spa water before our massage. We were scheduled for two couples massages. I received a call the day before that one of the massage therapists was sick, so one couple could receive the couples massage and the other would be in two separate rooms, which was fine. She told me we would receive all the benefits of the couples massage anyway. we arrived 30 mins early for our 310 appointment as instructed to fill out the paperwork. We when arrived we were not greeted, just handed four clip boards. It took us about 5 minutes to fill it out. Once we were done we just sat in the main lobby, not told where the restrooms were, asked if he was wanted water or moved to a more comfortable location. To be callled a "spa" is a stretch. We waited 40 mins from arrival till the first person was called in. We were all called in at separate times I had Jeremey as my therapist and he was TERRIBLE. I told him the two proble areas and it was like he avoided them. He spent more time getting lotion and applying it then an actual massage. He did my feet as he moved down my legs then went back up the body after toughing feet. He didn't do my shoulders or neck- the areas I requested. After the massage I was not told where the rest of my group was until I called them. We then were all sat in a nice sitting area after the massage. This is the space we should have had to wait in. No robes were offered, we were given warm champagne and one Lindt chocolate at the end. Horrible experience and HORRIBLE massage therapist. Would not recommend. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this spa! I was in Blue Ridge for a girls weekend and booked a signature facial and an 80 minute massage. Soooooooooooooooooo relaxing and it was seriously the best massage I've ever had -- and I've had a lot of massages! The staff was so welcoming and awesome. I'm planning another weekend in Blue Ridge in December and will book again. Teatree's is perfectly located in downtown Blue Ridge -- no car needed! We walked to the spa and enjoyed some zen time in between shopping and lunch. Just a perfect experience all the way around -- 5 stars! read more

The staff was very nice and all offered great customer service. The experience, however, wasn't the best spa experience. The first issue I had was that there isn't a locker room or area away from the door to relax in prior to receiving services. You are called in from the lobby to your first service and were required to carry your belongings around in a bag. Additionally, the music wasn't working downstairs, so there was an awkward silence. You could hear the phone ringing upstairs, the people walking around upstairs, the massage therapist talking in the room next door (my friend said she was very chatty during the service). I almost turned music on my phone as well. Each room should have their own music as back up. The organic facial was amazing, the massage was good, but didn't blow me away. Overall it was a good experience for a good price, and I love getting pampered, however, I'm not sure that I'll be back. read more

Our group of 8 came in for spa treatments as part of a bachelorette weekend. We were treated so well, with drinks and treats before and after our treatments. The facial was wonderful, relaxing, and just what I hoped for. My aesthetician was lovely, calming, and very professional. The facility is charming, beautifully decorated, and very spa-like. As I was being taken back the lady who took me in for my massage was sidetracked by a couple coming in and as she was the only one there she proceeded to check them in then came to give me my massage it was very rushed done poorly and cut my time due to the couple. I visited this location about 5 years ago with a few of my girlfriends and had very below average pedicures. This is the only time I had visited this place and they have for the past 5 years continued to spam my email even though I have unsubscribed over dozens of times. I even contacted them by email begging them to remove me which they did for a few months and now they are back to emailing me again!! This was the most unprofessional massage I ever received. The (male) Therapist did not knock before entering the room and I was not covered. ( this is protocol for any day spa or massage therapist to do) the "gentle"man (NOT) rubbed his body against mine inappropriately when giving massage. To the point he was getting excited by the end. I told the manager I was uncomfortable !! I was told that I had there number one therapist and sometimes when rubbing they have to put their whole body into it. I'm sorry out of all the massages I have had ( 100's) I've had no therapist's crotch ever touch my arm nor did one ever talk about topless women in FL. Nor have I ever had management blow a client off as to oh you don't know what your talking about . ( maybe because I have never been in this situation all my other massages have been professional ) Empathy would have been nice ! Apology perhaps ?
