Not even sure where to start but please avoid this business at all cost for your sanity. I found this business upon quickly shopping around for local carpet cleaners. I should have paid attention to the red flags. 1. When I first called no answer or professional business voicemail. Immediately after ending call that was not answers I received a text that stated, "Can I call you later". 2. The business called me back shortly after and simply gave me a price of $250 without gathering any additional information. I alerted them after they quoted that we had carpet only on the stairs that contained exactly 33 steps & 4 landings between two sections of the home. I let them know we recently moved into a townhome in which previous tenants must have had dogs. With the weather becoming warmer we now begin to smell an odor of wet dog and pet urine. They stated yes $250 for the deep cleaning and treatment for bed odors. 3. I inquired about their military discount as we are veterans and it's advertised on their website. He said no we don't do that. 4. The day prior to my appointment I reached out via text (so info would be in writing) attempting to confirm the date and time we were scheduled with along with the service and price we agreed upon. Their response was "send photos". Once detailed photos were sent they said okay yes confirmed and it's $250 5 Day of appointment tech shows up attempting to upsell me, also claiming there were more stairs and it would be extra. I told him no I sent photos, explained what I needed, price was confirmed and I had it all in writing. He then tried to upsell me and said I needed additional services. At that time I told him he ca. go ahead and leave we did not want any service. He quickly said okay I'll do it. We felt the need to watch the service being done as he appeared irritated. 6. Upon paying him at end of carpet service I requested an invoice in which he said yes I will have the office send one. Three days have passed in which I have reached out two additional times requesting the invoice in order to be reimbursed by my landlord. At this point they appear to be ignoring my requests I regret using the service and wish I would have done better research before choosing them. read more

Very disappointing experience - poor communication and customer service. Someone wrote these guys are total SCUMBAGS ad I wish I had read this review before hiring this company. I had a stain on my leather sofa that I understood might not come out. When I made the appointment, I was told it would be worth trying their product, and I was told that the entire sofa would be treated. I was originally quoted $175. I was given a 12-2pm arrival window and was told the service would take approximately 40 minutes. The technician arrived around 1:40pm and was finished and out the door by about 2:00pm. The actual service was extremely minimal. He used a spray bottle and scrub sponge and treated only about 4 spots.I pointed out. The rest of the sofa was not cleaned or treated, despite my understanding when I booked the appointment that the entire sofa would be treated. The technician was pleasantm and he told me he was giving me a $25 discount becasue I was nice, so I want to be fair about that. My concern is not with his attitude; it is with the service I received and the lack of follow-up afterward. I subsequently contacted the person who arranged my appointment and explained that I was disappointed with the work. I also requested a receipt. I never received one. I then contacted the technician directly and asked for a receipt. He responded that he would send on, but I never received one. I eventually tected the owner/manager and the technician together requesting the receipt and received no response at all. At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the transaction. I paid via Venmo, received no receipt, and could not get anyone to respond to multiple requests for basic documentation. I would have been completely understanding if the stain simply could not be removed. What bothers me is that the service I was told I would receive was not performed, and my attempts to address the issue afterward were essentially ignored. Maybe they provide better service for upholstery cleaning, but based on my experience with my leather sofa, I would not use this company again or recommend them. Lesson learned: Get exactly what is being promised in writing, make sure you receive a receipt, and don't assume that what you are told when booking is what will actually be done. When my carpet dried that evening, there were huge brown stains everywhere in the pattern of the steam vacuum! I contacted them over and over and they blocked my number. They shampooed my rug and left a pool of water underneath, which turned into mildew. When I complained, they promised to pick it up, clean it at their shop, and return it. Instead, a week later, they came back and shampooed the rug directly on my tar-and-gravel roof--without putting down any plastic or tarp--leaving it on the dirty roof! To make matters worse, they told me they'd come back to bring the rug down, as it's a heavy 14x14 piece. They never returned, and the rug is still sitting on my roof! The cats peed on it when I moved in. I moved it upstairs to my office. Finally had the time to get them professionally cleaned. Sal (who I think is the owner?), gave me a quoted me per cushion. Um? No. I need both pieces of furniture cleaned in their entirety. Sent him 8 photos of all the stains and full view pics. I was quoted $239 for everything. I repeated back the set number via text several times. Two guys arrived at my home. Immediately, the one whose job it was to tell me that I needed to use a different kind of cleaning solution so the price would be $399. I'm not joking. Of course I was pissed and have zero problems sending someone packing. He put his boss on the phone who reiterated what the cheesy sale dude said. I told him that I already sent him the pictures so he knew what they looked like. Long story short, they did it for $239 with the "special" cleaner. Every other minute the sleepy sales guy was saying "Look! Look! Isn't it great". The answer was no. Not great at all. The only thing the managed to do was soak my furniture. He said it would only be a few hours to dry - almost a week later and they are not only still damp but the stains remain the same. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I was initially quoted an estimated certain price for their services, but once they arrived, they significantly increased the price without justification. They also claimed there was mold, but never conducted any proper testing or provided confirmation of this despite of me asking them multiple times on site and on the phone to perform a mold test. At first they told me on the phone they will bring a mold test, then on site they told me to will bring it up, and they never did. They also told me they will be putting a mold treatment but there is no proof of anh product that was used for a mold treatment they brought a solution in a clear bottle to clean, that was it. Despite multiple requests, they have still not provided me with a receipt for the services nor a report of what I paid for as discussed in person before they left. I was told they would return to inspect the property after I raised concerns about the poor quality of their work, but they never showed up. Even after repeatedly reaching out, they have failed to respond to my calls or follow through on any of their promises. At this point, I am still waiting for them to contact me regarding both the inspection and my report and receipt. This experience felt deceptive and untrustworthy -- I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. Be aware that they change prices without warning, fail to deliver on their promises, and completely neglect proper communication and accountability. I contacted Lave Steemer for carpet cleaning for my rental property last year. The carpets were cleaned but the tech failed to protect the corners of the walls and the exhaust hose caused drywall damage. After reporting I was told they would give me a $15 discount. Fast forward to last month I asked to have my couch cleaned in my new apartment space. The techs showed up but still thought I lived at last address despite me making it clear I live in an apartment. They show up on time but explain their hose won't reach, but they can remove stain with their solution and dry rag for $65. So I said sure only to find it was a complete waste of time and money as there was no charge when it was dry. I contacted whoever it was I was texting and the ignored me. I just got my carpets cleaned by LAVA Steemer and I'm just going to warn people to use at your own risk. Although they did clean my carpets and the carpets look good, they tried to pull a fast one on me and charge me more for services that 1. They didn't do, and 2. I didn't even approve of because no one talked to me first or my mom about anything more. The initial scheduling of the appointment was fine... I requested steam clean only due to I clean my own carpets with my carpet cleaner regularly and they're in good shape, but I need them steam cleaned upon move out. I requested the 3 room service which is listed for $139. The technician came out and did just that... steam clean. My mom was there to watch over and even FaceTimed me while he was doing it. She asked him to go over a corner (but never asked for deep clean) The guy NEVER told her that he recommended anything else, nor did he use any pre-treatment or additional chemicals. My carpets were in good shape before... I get a text saying my carpets were super dirty and it was going to be $289 for deep clean... Oh hell no!!! First off, I have BEFORE photos and second off, I never agreed to anything but steam clean. You can see the before and after below. Very unprofessional business & did a really poor job cleaning my apartment. Operator was late by 1 hour and did not clean after himself in kitchen. Payed them 300$ + 40$ tip for pre-move out clean. Worst experience! I asked for both floor and wall tile and grout deep cleaning and sealing. They came and changed to 2 floors and 1 shower only. I was told it would be 2-hours' work but they finished within one hour as they waited for only 15 mins for it to dry before applying sealant. All the corners are still dirty when they told me its all done and asked me for money. I clearly told them I was not satisfied with the work and the manager John on the phone simply instructed the technician to take my card without trying to make me as a customer happy! This review is specifically for Obada and his marble tile and grout cleaning. I started watching too many DIY videos and attempted to clean our kitchen grout ourselves. Seeing how much junk was coming out and how I barely made a dent in the cleanliness of the floor, I decided it was time to hire a professional. He followed all safety protocols wearing a mask and gloves throughout the cleaning process. Lava Steemer provided the most competitive quote and Opado was my assigned tech for sofa cleaning. He provided very good results and was patient and resilient in Working with me to resolve some challenges we faced getting started. He cleaned all sides of the sofa including both sides of the detached cushions. He managed to get two years of heavy usage from renters steamed out and sucked away! Now I can use the sofa without being grossed out. There were some "lost in translation" issues in the arrangement process where the details that I am on the third floor of an apartment building and the type of sofa was not clearly conveyed to the tech. However, Opado rolled with the punches and figured out how to make access to the third-floor work from the street where there was no available parking in front of my unit. He was patient with me while I was in a stressful situation having just moved in, just had the apartment deep cleaned, having boxes all around, trying to work from the kitchen counter and expecting a portable unit to be brought up to the unit. He honored the initial estimate which did not consider my description of an "L-shaped" sofa to be a "sectional" despite the attached photo. FYI - Sectionals are priced differently, i.e. cost more to clean than non-sectional sofas. Opado worked hard for the money and got me back to my own job without the hassles of a reschedule. They consistently lied to me, did a terrible job cleaning my couch, and I suspect they are falsifying a lot of their reviews. Initially, they seemed great. They came same day and were in an out within an hour (in hindsight, a red flag). The next day (after the couch dried) I noticed that the fabric was stiff and seemed to have quite a bit of shampoo in it. I contacted them again and they set up a time to come back. They cancelled because "it was raining" and tried to convince me everything was fine and I was imagining things. They sent me pictures of the couch and were (seemingly on purpose) acting confused that the shampoo was evident by the feeling of fabric. I kept saying, no there is shampoo still and they kept denying it. They scheduled again, and then did not come at all. I called and asked for a partial refund as I would have to hire someone to fix their mistake. They continually lied, had me call a million people, all of whom said they could not help me and kept lying about who the owner of the company was. I ended up borrowing a steamer from a friends and found SO MUCH shampoo AND dirt in the couch. I will never use them again and I hope people see this message. No professionalism, integrity, or care for their clients. EDIT TO RESPOND TO SAM: Hello Sam. I have seen you do this in the reviews to other customers who have a legitimate negative review and complaint about your company. If you continue to treat your customers in the way that you do, even your fraudulent positive reviews won't help your business anymore.
