I had recently moved into a rental, and the carpet was not cleaned before we moved in. I had always just assumed it was kind of old and ruined, but after seeing Tony's photos on Yelp, I thought I should try getting it cleaned. I contacted Tony via Yelp to get a quote, and after I checked with a few other places, and found Tony's pricing was similar to others. His Yelp page had the best photos, so I went with him. He was able to come at noon the next day. I was not disappointed! The carpet looks so much better than I thought it could, it looks almost brand new compared to how it was before. I feel so much more comfortable walking around my home now. My only very minor complaint was that it took quite a while to dry, the cleaning was done on a Wednesday, and didn't feel 100% dry until Saturday morning (it was only slightly damp on the days between, we were able to walk on it with slippers starting a few hours after he cleaned). It was raining on the day he came, and the next day, so I definitely think the humidity contributed to the slow drying. Tony's was great! He was recommended by the property manager, but I had already found him on yelp and contacted him. I told him h the e square footage and room numbers for cleaning (two) and it was very reasonable priced. He was very flexible on the date and time, and was even understanding that I couldn't be there to meet him. We did have a bit of a hiccup where I didn't realize he would need access to a tap (he said he could also use his mobile unit but preferred a tap), so I went home and gave him the keys to the garage where the water tap was. So from my first call to Tony driving away. I've been impressed. I don't do business with businesses. I do business with people. And Tony is good people ! He answered the phone promptly on each call. We had Tony clean two sets of stairs (20 steps each - wool carpeting) and two bedrooms (with very light carpet) and an oriental wool area rug in our family room. He arrived right on time (actually a little early). Looked at the job and confirmed his online quote was good. He was very professional and did a fantastic job! I have previously cleaned these carpets before with a home carpet cleaner and they never came out looking good. Usually streaky and a lot of residue left behind that seemed to attract more dirt quickly. All of our carpeting looks great - and almost like new. It took about an hour and I was impressed by how much dirt they were able to get out. I vacuumed the couch after it dried and there was still a fair amount of pet hair and dust that came off, though I suppose the cleaning wouldn't get everything off. I do wish they had used the bathtub faucet instead of the kitchen sink to fill the bucket used to fill the machine, since we did have some dishes there and I was a bit uncomfortable mixing them together.
