Fantastic service all around! I was moving in to my new apartment and I wanted to get the carpet deep cleaned before the move-in date. I've contacted COIT in the first round. But upon arrival they changed the initial estimate and jacked up the price to more than double. I immediately asked them to leave. It's not about the money, it's about principles. At the end they even tried to charge me for traveling. What a scam.. So I got stock with a dirty carpet two days before my furniture being delivered. That time I reached out to Ben at Bay Area Carpet Master. He was very professional and understood the sensitivity of my situation. I got an appointment from him for next day what was a lifesaver. The next day the cleaners arrived exactly on time and got to work literally right away. While one of them was setting up the machine, the other technician explained to me what process they are going to use for the cleaning then they got started. It took them about an hour to clean 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a hallway. I was shocked by the results as the carpet came out sparking clean compared to its original condition. They were so professional and efficient I totally forgot to confirm the price until they finished. It ended up being the same amount I was quoted over the phone and happened to be one third what COIT tried to pull me in for earlier. I didn't go back to the apartment until next day. The carpet was dry by then and looked even better than when it was wet. It was over a month ago and it still feels fresh and fluffy. I couldn't be happier with the carpet cleaning service by the Carpet Masters. Ben was very easy to deal with and his employees did a brilliant work. I live in a four bedroom condo by SFSU with three other roommates and we badly messed up our carpet during the last few years. We decided to clean it up and as our first idea, we rented a rug doctor from safeway to do it ourself. It was a bad idea. We've spent about a day working on it and $70, but the situation just got worst. Most of the stains just spread out and got even larger, some of them didn't move at all, but the worst was the entrance area where a huge bright stain came up to the surface after the carpet dried. Soon after we made our next group decision, we need to hire professionals to take care of our carpets. We were referred to Ben by our neighbor who called him a miracle worker and the person who knows everything about carpets. So we contacted him and asked for his advice. He offered deep cleaning for a fair price and even the option that his team can come right next day. We hired them and that was the best thing that happened to our carpets for a long time. They showed up on time and identified them self then got to work right away. It took them about an hour to clean up four rooms and a nasty hallway. Most of the stains came out really good and took care of that ugly bright stain at our doorway too. They made our carpet look better than when we moved in three years ago. It's still smells great and fresh, we could not be happier with their service. I hardly ever post public comments, but the Carpet Masters definitely deserved my review. First of all, the communication was excellent. I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to carpet cleaning as I got screwed over by numerous companies over the years. So I like to ask questions before I commit to hire a company. They were able to answer all my questions over the phone and ensured me that the service will go the way they described it and they will work around my schedule. From that point the booking took only minutes, the guy on the phone was polite and knowledgeable. Secondly, the actual service went beyond my expectations. They arrived on the dot, the cleaner introduced himself, explained the cleaning process then, got to work right away. I had my carpet cleaned by several cleaners before, but I've never seen anyone working so hard. This guy hand scrubbed every each steps of my staircase carpet in order to get stains out and payed attention to every little details during the process like vacuuming the corners and extracting the water from the carpet. He cleaned two room, stairs, an area rug, and my home office carpets in an hour and half. He was fast and effective. Thirdly, the Carpet Masters gave me far the best quote with the promise of no way of up charging or added service fees. The bill was exactly what I was quoted for and they didn't even try to add up to the amount. This is something that you rarely see in the home service industry. Flat rates hardly ever come around these days. In overall I had one of my best experience with carpet cleaners. My house looks sparkling clean and smells great. We have a set of twin boys and they completely destroyed our carpet during potty training. We were desperate to get our carpets deep cleaned before the summer. In the first round we hired Stanley Steamers but they did more harm than good. Our carpet stayed wet for two days after their cleaning and it didn't look any better than before. Then we came across Bay Area Carpet Master and we could not be happier with their service. Easy scheduling by email and very competitive quote. Their cleaning worked much better and our carpet came back in life. The majority of the stains came out and the drying time was much shorter too. The cleaner was friendly and easy to work with. We hired Bay Area Carpet Master to clean the carpet in our four bedroom property in San Francisco. We have cream colored carpet with many stain that didn't respond to previous cleanings. They started with pre-vacuum the corners and edges. Then they pre-sprayed the traffic areas and all the spots and stains one by one. After that they used their steam cleaner to hit the entire carpet including stairs and area behind the doors and closets. I don't know if they use something different than others but the carpet came out better than ever before. It's been over a month they came and the carpet still looks clean and smells fresh. They charged us a flat rate fee and did not bother to try to upsell us. Great experience all around and we will call them again in the future. read more

What we like to most is that they are very consistent with their service therefore we always know what we going to get, how much we going to pay, and the type of customer service we going to experience. Over the years they learned our family's dynamics, the name of our children, and the favorite treat of thr pug. We are always happy to have them in our house as we feel like they treat our home like it is their own. After many years we had them come back to clean our carpet again and they did not disappoint us. Scheduling was easy and the communication was right on spot. The crew of two that came was friendly, polite and professional. They spent about an hour on our carpet and they did a wonderful job. Many stain we thought was permanent came out great and they also got out most of the musty odor that was coming from the carpet. At the end they charged us exactly what the initial quote was and they gave us shoe covers too at no extra charge. Our company is about to move into a new building and the carpets were a better candidate for being replaced than cleaned, but replacing wasn't in the budget - cleaning was. Thank heavens I found Ben and his crew. They seriously breathed new life into those carpets. What? The carpets are blue instead of gray? :) So much dirt sucked up. The guys at Bay Area Carpet Master did a great job cleaning apartment. They responded quickly and gave me one of the best rate via yelp app. The cleaner was very friendly and professional, it took him about an hour to clean 3 carpeted rooms and a 10x8 area rug. He also made sure to leave my bathroom clean after he used the tub to fill his machine with water. The drying took about 10hrs what is less than I previously experienced with other companies. I was heartbroken when during my baby shower we had a horrible red wine spill. We have light colored carpets and no matter what we put on it we still had a stain. These guys were great. Super easy to get a quote via Yelp. They were the most reasonably priced of four different companies I contacted. The dude showed up on time, cleaned the *heck* out of my couch and my mattress, and was very tidy. I have an elderly cat who has accidents (gross but true) and my couch and mattress are good as new. I would recommend Bay Area Carpet Master to anyone, and I plan to make them part of my yearly spring cleaning. read more
