He even offers DIY spot-treatment tips for his clients. DIY case in point: Recently the dog peed clear through a memory foam mattress topper. In a panic I called Ofer who walked me through treating it myself. I followed Ofer's simple steps, basically, for treating the memory foam. At the end, as he advised, I used an enzyme-based product. (He recommended Nature's Miracle; I had BioKleen on hand, plus it's fragrance-free, so used that instead). Thanks to Ofer, the memory foam is saved! Soooo good! This is the second time we've called Ofer to clean our light beige carpets. Ofer communicates clearly, gives detailed quotes over email and confirms the quote when he arrives at your place and is able to look at it. He made our super dirty carpet (we have two kids, two dogs and often dog sit) look almost brand new! The room did not smell like chemicals when he was done. As a bonus, he leaves you with a bottle of spot cleaner. He's very friendly and I highly recommend him for your carpet cleaning needs. These guys are great. Reliable, honest and priced reasonably for the area. The technician was also very polite when I had to tell him that my daughter, not my dog, had been peeing all over the rug, necessitating the cleaning. We've had them come twice to clean our rental's beige shag carpet and after they leave it looks, well, like clean rental beige shag carpet. Ofer is great! We recently had him clean carpets in a rental building for us; it was the second time I've used him. First, he does a fabulous job, using green products. He cleaned the carpet on a long set of stairs to the basement and yard. 20 years of dirt, dogs sleeping on the landing, and even gunk from a glue trap that had stuck to the rug. How he got the gunk out, I don't know, but he did, and made the carpet look practically new. (He also does a great job on other areas that are not such a disaster.) And, he is completely honest and straight forward about pricing. He sent me a price list before I made the appointment, and I was able to estimate the price pretty accurately. When he arrived, he measured the areas, and calculated and reviewed the cost with me, in writing, before starting. I really value that, as I've had other people do work who quote one price on the phone, and then once they are in the house, pull a bait and switch. Great work, and a really nice guy. read more

Ofer has been cleaning our carpets for many years, so I was very happy he could come over now! He came, he saw, he conquered! Efficient and thorough. I made sure to have the check written for him ready to take with him when he finished the job, so our contact was minimal. We were both masked, of course, when he arrived, and he stayed masked while he cleaned. In the past, he has shampooed the wall-to-wall and taken our area rugs back to his shop. This time he did what we needed on site. We have had two baby/toddler grandkids and their parents staying with us quite a bit since the start of the stay-at-home order (so the parents could work and grandparents could take care of the babies). I discovered Expert Clean & Green about 15 years ago and I have never used anyone since. Ofer, the owner, is amazing. He uses only non-toxic ingredients, and he not only cleans your carpets but he teaches you how to keep them clean. Each time he comes he gives you a bottle of cleaning solution to clean up any spills that happen in the interim before you see him next. He taught me how to clean the spills in a way that actually gets everything up without spreading the stain or sinking it in deeper (the technique involves using a spoon... he will show you... it really works!). He will also teach you the strengths and weaknesses of the types of carpet and rugs you have. If you are considering a new carpet or rug, he will give you advice on the best type to get based on where you are going to put it. He has told me to never buy a rug without calling him first! If you have any problems with your carpets, he will figure out what is going on and help you combat it (I have a spot that it turns out moths have been munching on!) I had been looking for a carpet cleaner who is reliable and uses non-toxic ingredients. I got much more than that with Ofer. He is like my personal carpet expert. He has definitely earned the "Expert," "Clean" and "Green" of his business name. If I could give him 6 stars I would. I would highly recommend you give him a try. read more

Ofer just left my house. I wish I had taken "Before" photos to show the "After." I have a two year old and a cream colored micro-suede sofa - need I say more? Yes, it was GROSS. My couch looks a zillion times better. He was super nice and explained a lot about what he was going to do. I spaced out on that a bit...I don't care much about fiber, just make it pretty and clean. It's taken a couple of months for me to Yelp this. I had just moved into my new apt, and was concerned that the carpets were not professionally cleaned; i have asthma and dust mites are definitely a concern for me. So i figured I'd dish out some money just to feel better about the cleanliness of the apt. I Yelped for carpet cleaners and Expert Clean & Green came out tops. I called them for an appt and managed to make one for a few days later. They arrived on time- earlier than me ( i had to rush home from work, it was raining and i couldn't find a cab) but fortunately, my apt manager let them in. As they were setting up, Ofer walked me through what they were going to do, and even explained carpet dust patterns to me. It went totally above me, but whatever, he was so earnest and sweet. Very pleased with the work. My carpets were extraordinarily stained after my tenants moved out. I knew it would be an intense job to return them anywhere near normal. He explained the different types of stains and the likelihood that cleaning would remove them. After a pessimistic 15 minute consultation from him, where he basically said, "I'll clean your rugs for you if you want, but I don't think you should do that." I declined to have him clean. Great service!! I had had the carpets cleaned 3 times before Ofer came to my abode. The stain in the beige carpet in the sunroom had become family. We called it Midge. Ofer came over, was quite OCD about the whoe carper cleaning thing, which he should be since it is what he does! When he left, we noticed Midge had moved on too. Midge was gone! He's been here 3 times since. cleaned out the stains from the aging and incontinent dog, the messy boarder who rented the downstairs room and other dirt that just came over and never left.
