I followed up later that same day and again over the next two days by phone, but received no response or update. I completely understand if a company decides they can't accommodate a request, but losing communication with a potential customer after having them complete paperwork felt unprofessional. A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. We hired Cappstone for daily cleaning services at our retail business, and the experience was…read moredisappointing on just about every level. Cleaning was consistently subpar, scheduled cleaning tasks were missed, and management failed to communicate when work wasn't completed. Instead, I had to follow up and discover these issues myself. There was also constant miscommunication regarding supplies and other operational matters. Perhaps the worst example of their sloppy execution was their team mishandling a common area key, resulting in unauthorized access to our lockbox and forcing us to rekey multiple locks. The final straw was how they handled our termination. After initially agreeing to an end date, they came back demanding additional fees. When questioned, management threatened to charge us significantly more. "At this point we have the options below: Pay the reduced amount of $267.03 Pay the 30 day termination through 10/23 which would generate a new invoice for $2,047.25" We ultimately agreed to pay simply to be done with them. The whole point of hiring a professional cleaning service is to have one less thing to manage. Cappstone somehow managed to create more work, frustration, and headaches than they eliminated. Poor service, poor communication, and a complete lack of professionalism. Would NOT recommend.
