I moved to a new apartment in San Francisco and my apartment room was not cleaned for a long time. There was ancient dust that became sticky and the floor blackened my feet with grime. I came across this business on Yelp after brief research on my end and thought this business was enough to suit my needs. They accommodated their schedule for my last minute request and I paid a little extra for it. I paid $150 plus $20 tip for deep cleaning of a very old and typical San Francisco bedroom and a small bathroom. I would recommend this place for a quick deep cleaning of an empty small room or empty small bathroom if you are in a hurry to get deep cleaning done for aforementioned. I'm an avid Yelp fan. I will almost-always go to Yelp to look for the best places to eat, where to go, etc. However, Yelp has failed in this regard. At first I believed the other Yelpers that rated Miros Housecleaning 5 stars. I recommended him to my mom since she was looking to replace the one we had for the past 6 years (that one started to become unreliable and would keep trying to reschedule to a day that wouldn't work for us). We called Miros. He came by, did a walk-through of the house and quoted us ($200 for the first clean). Other Yelpers mentioned that they were punctual, efficient, responsible, detail oriented, etc. So I was getting my hopes up. Then the day came - Miros was supposed to come at 2:00pm Sunday (he even jotted it down his calendar!). 2:00 pm came - no show. 3:00 pm came - no show. We started to call, and he was asking if it could be done on another day. We couldn't - we were going to have guests the NEXT day. And he told us that the day would work since we were the last house they would clean. He finally came with 3 others (total of four) at 4:45pm. Yeah... 4:45pm when the original appointment was for 2:00pm. They started cleaning. First off, they were not punctual. While they were efficient (they designated people to different parts of the house), they were not detail oriented. They would cut corners - not everyone cleaned the walls. All of them cut corners (literally - they did not clean the corners of the rooms they were in), they did not clean under the bed (my mom pulled the one that was designated for the master bedroom to come back and clean under the bed. Even then, that person didn't really clean all that well). Not all of them even dusted the rooms they were in!). Worst off, they could actually damage your property! They aren't very careful with your possessions! And they won't even tell you or apologize about it! Someone came into my room to clean and damaged my Wireless USB Adapter! They also damaged the kitchen gas oven! It's an oven!! We tried to call them back to complain about this, but they will not return our calls. So be wary about Miros Housecleaning! read more

I have meet Miros on a couple of occasions when she has come to my loft to clean with her husband Raul, however Raul has been the one who has consistently been the lead for his team of 3 or 4 ... sometimes 5 who come to clean. So this review is really for him. I appreciate the fact that he speaks English well and that we can communicate with ease. I also find him to be an absolute pleasure to be around. He is willing to use all of my non-toxic products and is careful to ask me before using one of their own. I would give him and his team 5 stars however, they do tend to miss details and items I requested that they clean fairly consistently. I've felt compelled to call him after the fact on several occasions to let them know. That has been my only challenge. For example, there have been times when the team has missed a window, the oven, or my exercise equipment. The first time they came, they didn't clean any windows and I was told during the interview that would be included, they also didn't clean another item that escapes me now, but, when I alerted Raul, he and a his team came back the very next day and cleaned it all complimentary. I've continued to hire Raul, despited the "misses" because I have experienced him as dependable, trustworthy and willing to address whatever concerns I may have had along the way. They were coming every 10 days for several months until I took a break due to travel. I just had them back today for a very deep, detailed cleaning. Raul had me check their work at every step and was more than willing to do what I wanted as a follow up to their first pass. He transformed my patio beyond my expectations. They really worked tirelessly on my behalf being that I am selling my loft. I gave them a standing ovation at the end of their time here. We have been using Miros housecleaning for over a year now. They are incredibly responsive and flexible in their arrangement with us. We think they do a great job cleaning our 2-bed condo and for a fair price. Most importantly they are very easy to communicate with - if we have to reschedule, or have particular areas of the house we need cleaned, etc. An example of their diligence is when one time one of the cleaners accidentally hit a door jam with the vacuum causing it to chip. The Miros team brought over a handyman to repair it immediately. We know accidents happen, but the way a person (or business) handles them says a lot about their character. As a skeptic of Yelp, I have to say that Miros Housecleaning provided me with GREAT service. Raul and his team was very accommodating when I needed him- I was in a pickled and needed someone to come and clean my apartment the day of my move so I can have my apartment manager come and do a walk through, I called Raul in the morning and he was able to fit me in the afternoon. They do such a great job that 2 other units in my building (we have 6 total) now use them and she also cleans the common areas of our building. Miros Housecleaning is fantastic. The team has been cleaning my apartment for the last 3-4 years and for a very fair, affordable price. Generally about two to three people come and are able to thoroughly clean the place in about 1.5-2 hours. (My apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and is about 1100 sq feet.) And sometimes my apartment is not in the best shape - like if I've had a bunch of guests over in the previous nights, or I moved stuff around and ended up with a lot of trash. The results are always the same - very quick, very clean. About once a year, I also ask if they can clean my balcony, which tends to collect bird poop and pollen, and for a reasonable additional fee, they render it spotless. I really appreciate that they have been so accommodating with my schedule. I work longer hours and get up early to commute, so I frequently ask them to clean the place on relatively short notice or at random times. Finally, as a general matter, they are very pleasant to be around - always professional and friendly. Sometimes I work from home and they clean while I'm there, and I'm still able to take conference calls, etc. without being distracted by them. Wish more businesses could be like that! read more

I was frantically searching for a new housekeeper after losing our reliable housekeeper of several years and then having a bad experience with another. They are super punctual (I'm such a stickler for time especially with a newborn, you have to time everything nowadays!) and always text/call me with their ETA.
