George is by far the best owner and technician in the Bay Area! I've used carpet cleaning services in San Francisco and San Jose-- he was better than all of them. He drove from Richmond to San Jose and did an amazing job! However, he ran out of the specific solution for my house. He had two other jobs in the North Bay, he went to those jobs then CAME BACK to San Jose with more solution. I was shocked! Not only did he drive back down but he also did an amazing job! Very professional, kind, and takes pride in his work. On top of that, it was the best price in town! read more

We've been using Carpet Ninja for four years in a row, and George consistently done a great job! We've had both our rugs and sofa cleaned by him, and we're always very happy with the results. He is professional, reliable, careful with everything, and very thorough -- even when dealing with difficult stains. Communication is always easy, and the whole process is smooth from start to finish. Great value! Highly recommend! read more

We've tried several different companies for couch cleaning over the years and our experience with George was by far the best. He runs his own business so you know exactly who you're getting and the quality of the work reflects that. He's super responsive, reasonably priced, friendly, respectful, and very professional. He did an excellent job on both our couch and rug and really went above and beyond. Communication was great throughout the cleaning. He checked in with me about my preferences and made sure I was happy with everything. He'll definitely be my go-to from now on. read more

Fast to respond and next-day service, thorough and friendly - great value for money, you can't go wrong!

George was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I needed the service as soon as possible, and even though he was fully booked, he managed to find a same-day appointment for me. He worked quickly and did an excellent job. My carpet was in pretty bad shape, but after the cleaning, it looked great and smelled fresh. The pricing was also very reasonable. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him. read more

Carpet Ninja strikes again! I originally reached out because I thought, "What a great name," but the strong reviews sealed it, so I gave them a try. So glad I did. The pricing was reasonable, and the amount of dirt pulled from my rugs was honestly disgusting, in the best way. If you have a dirt-paw pup like I do, you know exactly what I mean. Bonus points for using pet-safe cleaner, too. He's officially my go-to, and I'll be using Carpet Ninja every 6 months from now on. Highly recommend! read more

George did such an AMAZING job on my couches and area rugs! I had several estimates via Yelp estimates; his was the most straightforward with no up-selling, his messages were concise and not the length of a novel, he didn't hound me with lots of messages and calls, his dry-time with comparable or less than others with no additional price-tag for faster drying. He was courteous and professional from the estimate to walking out the door. He kept me updated throughout the cleaning process, checked in with me whenever he needed something (more hot water, move the couches around, etc). He was also going to mop my hardwood floors afterwards but I was going to do that anyway once he was done, so I declined. Aside from how pleasant George was, my rugs look brand new and my couches feel soft, soo CLEAN and are actually sparkling! Such a pleasure working with him, I will absolutely use him whenever I need my couch/rugs cleaned again (which I was informed should be at least annually, good to know- oops, ha). I highly recommend Carpet Ninjas! read more

I found George in Yelp. He gave me a quote after I sent him info and photos and he did an excellent job cleaning my wall-to-wall carpet. He was thorough and efficient and reasonably priced. I appreciate that he's easy to communicate with on text and very friendly and knowledgeable in person. I texted him again several months later because my daughter spilled some art supplies on that same carpet and I attempted to clean it myself but it only made it worse. George was fully booked but said that he should come look at it sooner than later or else the stain could set in. He went out of his way to come look at the stain on Saturday at 7p. There was a lot of traffic in my neighborhood at that time so he had to drive around to try to park and then carry his equipment in the house. He was so nice about it all and he cleaned the stain but it didn't fully come out because of the cleaning products I had used had set the stain in. He didn't charge me (and I expected to pay him as he took the time to help me out) and told me that next time just call him before attempting to clean it myself. I highly recommend George and will definitely use him again. read more

I wish I had called George first. Last week I hired another carpet cleaning company and honestly it looked almost the same afterward. Most of the dirt and spots were still there, and they gave me a lot of explanations about why carpet looks almost the same. They also charged me extra for high traffic areas. A week later I decided to try George, and the difference was incredible. My carpets literally look like new. Every spot that bothered me is gone and in general carpets look bright and fresh. George does the work himself, uses the best eco friendly products and takes his time to get job done well which I really appreciate because you get consistency and someone who actually cares about the quality of the job. That's pretty rare these days. Highly recommend him if you want your carpets truly clean. Coco and Sunny agreed :) read more

George was quick, timely, affordable and most importantly did a fabulous job!! He cleaned four of my rugs which I've never had cleaned and they look amazing! They are all vintage wool rugs and he cleaned them with care. He was in and out in 45 minutes and even cleaned the little carpet stoop in front of my apartment door for free because he had more water. He actually charged me less than he quoted! I will be calling on him again in a few months to clean my couch before selling! Highly recommend! Photos are from right after was so they still need about 4 hours to dry. read more

George replies quickly and professionally on Yelp. He's very friendly in person. Did the job well and quickly at a great price with an option for a deep clean for a little extra. He uses kid friendly detergent and checks with you if you want fragrance or not. You can see the dirty water and the lines showing how he went over every bit of carpet. This is his own business and he's been doing it for 4 years! Kudos for him driving around the bay all day for carpet cleaning. I'd love to consider him for my next carpet cleaning and maybe even for my couch since he mentioned he does upholstery too. read more

George was quick to schedule, friendly, professional, well-priced, and best of all, he got out several years worth of dirt and grime from our very light, premium brand plush carpeting (that "after" water was black!!) - plus a few stains in kid rooms that we thought were beyond all hope. He did a fantastic job, and we'll definitely use his services again (much sooner next time, so we don't need such a deep clean!). Because it's such a humid week, and our thick carpets needed such a deep clean, it did take a while longer to dry, but a few extra fans for a day or two and all was good to go. So happy we found our new carpet cleaner! read more

George was very responsive and professional. He quickly provided an estimate which was fair and reasonable. He showed up on time with a text on his ETA. He wore shoe covers as he cleaned and politely asked to use the sink (water for the machine) and toilet (disposing dirty water). The cleaning was quick and efficient. He uses an eco-friendly cleaner which was one of my priorities. I had a really good and professional experience with George. I will use him again when I next need another cleaning. read more

I contacted George on Yelp for an estimate after reading great reviews. He was quick to respond and communication was smooth from start to finish. He was punctual and communicated when he was on his way. His work was amazing! I had let too much time pass since my last cleaning that I did myself so I was in desperate need of a deep clean. He was upfront about what stains he could remove and which ones were permanent bleach stains that he would not be able to treat. Nevertheless, my carpets are so much cleaner after his work. I already had him come again for our other room and am planning to book him for upholstery cleaning soon, too! read more
