I live in my work loafers and they were coming apart at the toe all the way to the arch, and were also in desperate need of new insoles. Since they were nicely broken in after 2 years of constant wear, I took them to Carson Shoe Repair, and within the week they were seemingly brand new. George, the owner, did a great job! My loafers look and feel incredible. With the repair and insole replacement, (which was much better than buying a Dr. Scholl from a big box store), I did spend a couple nice pennies, but I felt it was totally worth it. Both pairs of shoes have been holding up nicely. I loved that George even shined and cleaned them up. Hopefully, the repair will last me another 2 years, especially in today's economy. If you are in need of a good shoe repair, be sure to give George a call.

Thankfully, Dalla's gave it a shot and they were amazing. They removed all of the makeup stains and missed spots that the other dry cleaners didn't take care of. There was also a problem area on the sleeve that looked like the previous dry cleaners over treated. Dalla's was able to get that squared away also. My shirt and three piece suit was looking brand new when I picked it up. They worked with my fast turnaround needs as well, having this done within about a day and a half. Stretched out button holes, it had become incapable of keeping him snug, cozy. $8 per to tighten them = snug, cozy. I truly would have messed up this repair. ALL items cleaned with care, packaged appropriately ready to be worn this coming fall/winter. Short term drop-off/pick-up parking at entrance off of Westwood Boulevard and Holman Avenue. We usually walk to Sterling Cleaners for drop-off but pick-up via our car(s). Made the mistake at pick-up by parking in an employee only zone. Fortunately, thanks to efficient staff, I was only in an employee's space for mere minutes. Whew! Check-in on Yelp but there's no longer a discount along with it. When I mentioned this we were given a 25% off neighborhood courtesy. Sterling Cleaners now prefers a Google review but I'm gonna stick with Yelp.

The owners/staff were so nice and friendly when I came in. We went over the problem area that needed attention. They assured me that it was quite treatable. I left the coat Thursday afternoon, with an anticipated pick up on Monday. Friday morning I received a message that the coat was ready and that I could come get it. When I returned, Friday afternoon, the owner remembered me and knew right where my coat was. It was promptly brought to me...and looked fantastic! Since they only have a regular sewing machine he advised that I go to the alteration place around the corner to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed but he could restitch my skirt and dress. I appreciated that he encouraged me to go elsewhere rather than just taking my money to not do a good job. If you need a fancy piece altered, I'd go elsewhere! They offered to dry clean my clothes after they altered them so I had them clean my dress. Very quick turn around time! They were able to alter my 2 pieces and dry clean my dress by the date he said it would be done (only 5 days - Sat till Wed). They didn't call me to confirm they were done so just show up on the day they say it will be done. To get 2 pieces altered and 1 piece dry cleaned the total cost was only $29.99. Very cheap and worth it! The only disappointment was the stitch color that he used is different than the color of my dress so you can see it a little. You really have to look closely to notice so I'm happy with the work done.

Since she goes here and has no problem what so ever. She then said it'll be ready Tuesday January 13th in the afternoon at 4pm. Also asked if I wanted to pay at the moment or pay at pick up. I think its common sense to pay when pick up so I told her that. And she gave me a receipt with all the info. (Make sure to keep the receipt and bring it with you) i brought in a long coat and when I picked it up around 4:45pm i was helped by a lady with shoulder length hair and she was super nice and the coat was covered up very nice.
