Reeeg was totally professional and chill. I was so grateful for his patience while I decided on location. He played some good music and made some good conversation. I also want to comment his line work is CLEAAAN!! everyone should get tatted my him!

My friend and I booked appointments to get piercings at Laughing Buddha via their website, which was easy to navigate. We both booked with Colin O. right after one another. They do require your credit card details in case you miss your appointment. When I arrived, I scanned a QR code at the door to check in, and an employee welcomed me in. She was friendly and helpful in explaining what to expect for my appointment. You select the jewelry in the display cases, and the prices can add up rapidly - depending on the type of jewelry you get. I got the most standard titanium ball x2 and they charge separately for the backing for each piece. I appreciate that they show you the receipt ahead of time for full transparency, but it was still a bit of sticker shock. In total, my two lobe piercings + lowest-cost jewelry pieces & components added to about $150. Sanitation wise, they are completely solid. They showed me a small strip they used to ensure equipment is properly sanitized. You are also required to scan a QR code to sign a digital waiver form, and once that's completed, Colin greeted me for the appt. He was professional and friendly, and the overall process was pretty quick! I would recommend this spot.

This was my first piercing and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Alex was so patient and knowledgeable, helping me choose the appropriate jewelry for my piercings. I can't say enough about Lynn. They were very professional and efficient. They explained the whole procedure, and put me at ease. The facility is clean, and the sterilization process is explained. I highly recommend them.

Double conch piercing (tragus and helix were done elsewhere)

I went in to get two conch piercings (double conch) in one ear. I have a low pain tolerance and unfortunately have not had a good piercing experience prior to coming here so was very anxious. Colin did an amazing job of keeping me calm and was great at keeping me informed during the process. He was super quick with it and while yes it was painful I don't think I could've found a better experience anywhere else. The piercings are healing well and they look exactly as I'd hoped. Place was very clean and everyone there was very welcoming and realistic when it came to pricing and long term piercing plans.

This was my first tattoo 50+ and I was very nervous but really wanted a anklet tattoo with three charms. Jenny was so incredibly gentle and sweet and made the entire experience awesome ! Already planning my next tattoo and loving my new art!! Such beautiful lines and art work just in awe !

Had an amazing experience getting my first piercing at laughing buddha. Everything was incredibly clean and sterile. My piercer, Colin, thoroughly explained aftercare to me and I felt comfortable in his hands. The people at reception were also extremely friendly and easily guided me through everything I needed to fill out.

My awesome bun tattoo by Laura
Erica P.

What a wonderful place to finally get the tattoo I've been dreaming of for years. Laura did a FANTASTIC job of taking my jumble of ideas and turning them into a beautiful piece of art that I get to carry with me forever. The shop is taking every precaution to ensure safety during the pandemic. I felt totally safe during my visit. I can't wait to return!

How much is a nose piercing?

About $90 as a baseline! ($35 service fee + $45 for basic jewlery + tax)

What kinds of piercing tools do you guys use for earlobes piercings? I really appreciate if you could reply.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, must be 18 with valid ID

Tattoo 17 year olds?

No, Laughing Buddha does not tattoo 18 year olds. According to their website, the tattoo requirements state, "You must be at least 18 years old. (It is illegal in the state of Washington to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent.)"

Is there a minimum for tattoos?

How much for a tattoo?

Depends on the tattoo.

Do you guys do industrial piercings?

Yes

How much for a nose piercing?

$30 for the piercing and then whatever the jewelry costs, which can go upwards of $35.

Is an apt needed for an ear piercing?

Nope, me and my friend walked in and they took care of both of us ;)

Can you bring your own jewelry for piercings?

No reputable piercer will allow that, it's super unsanitary. They wouldn't even put it in their autoclave because it's already been used.

Is this place good for regular pericings?

Yeah, I got my ears pierced here and it's great

How much is it to pierce both ear lobes with the least expensive jewelry?

Just give them a call and they will walk you through your options. They are super helpful.

During that time I've never actually written a review before, but my recent sessions with Tim Bradley (aka Mean Ole Tim) at the Wallingford location deserve one. Tim has been an absolute standout. He's not just a skilled tattooer -- he's an artist and professional in the truest sense. His ability to translate an idea into something that feels both deeply personal and beautifully cohesive is unreal. He recently completed a full torso panel of my German shepherd, Stryder, in an Irezumi-inspired style, as well as two custom hand pieces -- and every step of the process was collaborative, thoughtful, and executed with precision. What I appreciate most is Tim's mix of humility, humor, and quiet confidence. He listens, gives honest feedback, and works with a level of care that shows in every line and aspect of the piece. The end result isn't just cool ink -- it's art that carries weight, intention, and soul. After nearly a decade with STTN, I can say this has been one of my best experiences yet. If you're looking for someone who genuinely gives a damn about both the craft and the client, Tim's your guy.

It was so amazing and I was so impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a very nice way, my needs were heard and respected, and, oh my, what a selection of different jewelry they have to pick from, very impressive! Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. Checkout was wonderful too, they made sure that I knew how to contact them at any time if I had any other questions or concerns after the fact. Oh, and they made sure I knew what the end cost would be even before the actual piercing so there are no surprises at checkout.

I am beyond furious with the way Pierced Hearts handled my sister's navel piercing. From the start,…read morethis experience has been a disaster due to sheer negligence and a complete lack of accountability. My sister clearly explained to the piercer, Jaime, that she has a very flat belly button and specifically asked if the standard navel jewelry would be appropriate. He confidently said yes -- and we trusted his professional judgment. That trust was completely misplaced. As time passed, the jewelry began to embed itself into her skin, which should never have happened with the right jewelry in the first place. We returned to the shop, and Adam helped change it to a floating navel piercing -- the type she should have received from day one. He apologized and even took a photo of the damage because it was obvious something had gone terribly wrong. But the damage had already been done. Within a week, she developed a severe infection -- one that urgent care later confirmed was likely due to the original jewelry creating a gaping wound that never healed properly. Despite following aftercare instructions to the letter, she ended up on two antibiotics and hydrocodone just to manage the pain. Yet when we returned to the shop a third time to request a refund and share what she was going through, the staff were incredibly dismissive and refused to take any responsibility. They immediately shifted blame, accusing her of neglecting aftercare, even though we were meticulous. No effort was made to offer a solution, express genuine concern, or show even the slightest empathy. Just said "well, do you want to get it pierced again?!" ... no! Her belly button area now is completely bruised and mangled because of this place. We will never be coming back here again. To make matters worse, the owner was outright disrespectful and condescending over the phone. When we told him that medical professionals advised removing the piercing and draining the infection, her arrogant response was, "Why would they do that?!" as if she knew better than actual doctors. That tone alone spoke volumes about how little they care once they have your money. We asked for a refund because of all the trouble we've been through after the negligence of the first piercer, now having to pay for urgent care visits and medication. I chose this shop based on their glowing reviews, but let me be clear: if you're considering any body piercing here, don't. They might be decent with ear piercings or tattoos -- but when it comes to body piercings, especially anything more complex, they are careless, unprofessional, and utterly unwilling to take accountability when something goes wrong. My sister went in for a simple piercing and walked away in physical pain and emotional distress, and not once did they offer real help, only excuses. This shop failed her. Completely.

I said something and he said it would be fine, and he incorrectly guessed the lines. 2. Lines didn't connect properly to the border. 3. Major blowouts-at first I thought it was normal healing, but after research, it's clearly poor technique. 4. Took 5 days and 3 follow-ups to get aftercare instructions. He claimed it went to spam, but we were using the same email chain the whole time. 5. He's only been in Seattle for 2 months--maybe not fully settled?
