I was in Ruskin area for a work trip for 11 days. Not only did I find the best place to eat I also found some really cool new friends. The owners are awesome and so is the wait staff. If I lived there I would go everyday. Please go support this local business and tell them I recommended the chopped salad and beef tips. I ate that everyday it's that good. It had been a year since we last ventured in to Latitudes. My hope was that some things had changed. So we went in early for appetizers and happy-hour. The bartenders hustle and really try to be attentive and cover the bar patrons but also the floor/table orders. However comma The grouper bites were a little over done; clearly no presentation (see pics) The meat and cheese plate (it would be a crime to call it charcuterie)....4 rolls of prosciutto, 6 large corners of cheddar, along with big slices of gouda and muenster accompanied by fruit. Then the highlight of the apps....the plate, yes plate....of crackers ...~40 crackers ranging from saltines to I don't know what....and they were stale So..... Will we go back? Probably not until my neighbors convince us in a year that its time to try it again. The strikes are adding up. read more

My hubby and I went here for breakfast. I had the Bloody Mary Bar.($6.50) They serve you a glass of ice with 2 shots of vodka. You go to the Bloody Mary Bat and load up with an assortment of tomato based juice. Then you add whatever looks good to you. There was shrimo, bacon strips, cubed salami, cheese and green olive skewers, fresh horseradish, grilled cheese quarters and more. It's a meal in itself! My husband Rob ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. It was very good. They put a sausage patty on top of the biscuit, then sausage gravy over top. Ate here with high expectations after reading several reviews. Yes, it was the night before Thanksgiving, so they might have been a little short staffed. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, ordered and apps were out in 20-25 minutes and they were very good. Our food came out in 3 different increments. Burger was okay at best, my son's steak, which he ordered medium came out raw, and my daughter-in-laws ordered medium came out well done. I had one of their "bowls s" which I thought was brilliant! Protein $8 - I had tenderloin tips, many choices for add-ons- I had broccoli (very fresh and yummy and Crispy Garlic Mashed Potatoes (a little too garlicky) each for.$2.50 all in a large bowl! If I had chosen rice or noodles there were 4-5 sauces for $.5 each. It was excellent & I have 1/2 a bowl leftover. John had the Cajun Chicken wrap which he thoroughly enjoyed and brought baccarat 1/2. Diane & Teddy took great care of us. The place was packed but you could still have conversations without shouting. My husband and I love the burgers at Latitudes. We are always greeted and treated so nicely by the staff.

We came to Latitudes, with a party of 8 on a Thursday night. It took over 15 minutes to get our drink order, after a long wait the drinks were brought out 2 at a time with at least 5 minutes in between. I spoke to the manager and he said he would get the waitress extra help. He explained that the waitress was brand new. In spite of the promise, the service was slow and painful. The food arrived after a very long wait, and then we waited another 5 minutes to get setups (forks / knives / napkins).... once we had utensils, the food was fine! From the time we sat down to the time we got the checks was two and a half hours. The checks when they were brought out were wrong... when approached by a different waiter as we were leaving apologized for the service! We were then told by yet another waiter that they went out of their way to help us out... what a joke! We will not be going back soon... read more

Driven by this place multiple times nd finally decided to give it a try. Serive was terrible. Had to change orders twice because the server would come back much later to report that was ordered was no loner available. Once the food finally arrived I asked for ketchup and finally had to take it from another table because the server never brought it. Food and drink quality was just average and service was really bad so I would not recommend and will not return. read more

The service here is the worst. I honestly believe the servers think we are there for their entertainment purposes and shouldn't be required to do much. Went in on a Sunday at 10am to a totally empty restaurant only to be told they had no available seats since everything was reserved. I looked at the tables and most weren't reserved until an hour after our arrival. We were told to eat at the bar if we wanted to since that's all they had. Folks didn't start arriving until 11 when we were getting ready to head out. I had the burger which was really good (the only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1). Their menu is very very limited. If you are going to get crap faced then this is the place to go apparently but if you want an actual meal then I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

My husband and I visited Latitudes last night. It was definitely a busy night which is typical for most restaurants on a Friday night. We had about a 15 minute wait...no big deal. We sat outside which was nice especially with the fire heaters going. Our server was Justice. We ordered the fried grouper bites as a shareable which was a bad idea. There was no seasoning or flavor which we are not used to when it comes fried grouper bites we have tried at other local restaurants in Apollo Beach. Then when Justice asked us how the grouper bites were and we told him, his reply was "Oh yeah you should have ordered the grilled or blackened". Why wouldn't he have suggested this upfront? Who knows. The dinner entrees we selected were the Friday special (salmon topped with crab, white rice & seasonal veggies) and the Bayside BBQ burger. The burger was good & fresh. The seasonal veggies come with mushrooms which wasn't disclosed and it would have been nice to know. We only ordered water & didn't get any refills. I would say Justice wasn't very attentive however I passed it off that he had a lot of tables on the busy night. The live band was very nice. Overall I would give this place another try but not on a busy night. read more

Right now in Apollo Beach Florida this is my go to place when I want to have a relaxing dinner with friends and family. The food has been amazing lately... Dare I say even improved in recent weeks. One complaint is that the music on Friday and Saturday night is way too loud if you sit close to the bar area. read more

Went to this place before and was underwhelmed. Gave it another try and boy my first impression was correct. We were served a salad $7 that was so small and did not match the description at all. Salad served but no silverware was given. We had to flag someone down to get it. I ordered skirt steak with Chimichurrie. The sauce was not fresh. not good. Steak ok. Sides were awful. Broccoli with no seasoning and it was barely warm. Some kind of tasteless rice. This meal was fairly expensive. My dining companion got ribeye steak that was 1/3 fat and grissle. Also fairly expensive dish. Her baked potato was hard in the middle. Meh for the green beans that came with it. Did not get much attention from server. He was nice enough once we got his attention by flagging him down. I won't bother to give this place a third chance. They want top dollar for bar food that was low dollar quality. read more

Definitely a great spot for lunch or dinner. Excellent menu selections. Dinner entrees are $23 or less and very tasty. There is also an Early Bird menu with half portion selections for $10 and it comes with a soup or salad. The atmosphere is nice with light music playing in the background. There is an option for botg indoor and patio dining. The Latitudes salad was very tasty and filling if you're looking for a lighter option. The half portion is only $4.99. The parmesan wings are delicious and a small order is only $5.99. The Grouper Piccatta is a must have and the half portion is an option. The goid was fresh and arrived to our table in a timely manner. The servers were all very personable and seemed to be bursting with sunshine. Definitely worth a return trip. I asked for a table for 2 outside. nobody even walked me to the table a guy just told go there and fibd a place. 20 minutes for somebody to asked me if I need a menu. At that point I stared thinking that was a bad idea, just asked for a beer for my husband so he can get it when he gets to the restaurant. I got the beer from a girl and end of the story, nobody came to the table again until I stand to leave. She saw me and sent another guy. I left my husband paid for the beer and also left. Still a one star experience. NOTE I've only given this place another chance because my wife really likes the food here when it's done right Place a take out for me and my family on my birthday. Part of it is supposed to have a extra large Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese. I get there and I waited a few moments and my food starts to come out piecemeal. The hostess encourages me to check each box to make sure that everything is correct. A couple of the items had a minor problem, but no big deal. The hostess tells me she's going to check on the pretzel for me. So, I wait about 10 minutes or so and finally get an apology saying that they are out of the Bavarian pretzel. So, I've been sitting at the bar with my food getting cold while waiting for a pretzel that did not exist. Next thing, I get told that the owner wants to simply give me a gift card for the missing pretzel. Are you kidding me? So I at least ask for the manager who happened to be right at the bar. She was nice enough to take care of me and reduce the bill appropriately. I explain to her that I've been at latitudes four times in five years and four times in those five years there has been an issue with orders which if you look at my Yelp history, it is well documented Completely frustrating! read more

I came here when they first changed ownership and wrote a not so good review. The owner reached out to me and asked me check in with him so he could make it right. That was a few years ago and I never did take him up on his offer. I have been back many times and am very happy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food selection is nice and have never had a bad meal. This visit I was meeting a friend for brunch. I arrived early and sat at the bar and had my first mimosa. Yummy! I saw they also had a Bloody Mary bar which had everything imaginable to put in or have with your drink. We shared a flatbread which my only comment was it was cooked a little too long as all the edges were burned but the the rest of it was very tasty. I must say this is a great place to go and meet friends for a drink or meal. A must try if in town read more

Being an Apollo Beach resident for nearly 10 years I want to see great restaurants in my area and to see the best ones flourish. My problem with this place is that I've never had a consistently good experience. Once or twice I had decent experiences after trying different things on different days and times. Even those were B+ type experiences in food quality and taste. But after a couple of C experiences and a Sunday brunchish meal with out of state guests (before pandemic issues) getting C- & D ratings from each one of us I stopped going. I would hope it gets much better as the explosive growth and popularity of Apollo Beach will surely bring more and better options than this. read more

Been here for about 20 minutes ... very slow service, but love, love the atmosphere. It feels so homey and not pretentious!! There is both a Mamosa bar and a bloody Mary bar. Fantastic toppings for the bloody Mary's. I'm not sure if this is something that they do every day or just on Sundays. Starting with the crispy wonton wrapped shrimp with sweet chili sauce, and they are delicious!!!!! I could eat these all day!!! Waiting for our burgers to come out! Still waiting. The manager just came by and said they were paying for our meal, since they've messed up and it's taken so long. Bravo to them for acting before we said anything. So glad we stopped here after a long, delayed and tiresome flight to Tampa from LAX. This place is open late so we had a chance to get a hot meal... score! The band was jamming, but we chose to sit outside, where Lindsey, our lovely and vivacious waitress made us feel totally at home. The food was just awesome. I had sautéed grouper with yummy smashed potatoes, sautéed baby kale and hollandaise sauce, while my husband George had good old southern pulled pork.
