The experience at Latitudes Apollo wasn't the worst, however it wasn't its best. They were out of fried pickles and lemonade. The food we ordered had tasteless vegetables and over cooked medium size shrimp when described as jumbo. I received a very small portion of steak and portobello pasta that even the waiter was so upset about the portion size. The chicken wings had a strand of hair that didn't match any of us at the table. The waiter handled the situation appropriately and was very kind the entire time. We don't have many places in Apollo Beach to dine in with a chill environment. This was a nice Wednesday evening during happy hour when I arrived I asked for a table for 2 and was promptly greeted and explain specials of the night for the cheeseboard and the 1/2 off bottle house wine. $20 for both so definitely ordered a bottled for home and took advantage of the happy hour and enjoyed the live band. Didn't have a present experience here. Always found a place wierd when there's a sign that says wait to be seated and the bar tenders says sit wherever you want. Looks unprofessional and cheap like they didn't want to hire a hostess. Sat down ordered drinks I asked for a Mai Tai. Comes back with a glass full of orange juice and triple sec. zero rum. Drank it without sending it back. Ordered our food one chicken piccata and one 6oz seared salmon. Both had the same strange white sauce? Never seen a chicken piccata with out a lemon sauce. Salmon has zero taste and the sauce that covered it was just not fitting. Wish the menu described the food better or else I woulda said no. Either way we won't be returning any time soon. Party of two Early Sunday evening. Small restaurant/bar. Very nice inside with outside seating. Restaurant is in the strip part of the Winn Dixie shopping center. We received a friendly greeting as soon as we walked in; for our visit you seated yourself. Our server was very pleasant and provided tips on the food and was nice to provide me a sample of the Tomato Suraci soup. One taste and I was sold. Just enough kick! Their menu was unique in some of their offerings. We enjoyed chicken bacon ranch wrap and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both dishes were presently nicely and tasted great. If you are in Apollo Beach, Latitudes is a must attend location if you want to meet your neighbors ...as it is a "locals hangout". Conveniently located along StRd 41 in the Winn Dixie shopping plaza. From a drink perspective, the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. The same hold true for the wait staff although there is never enough staff and getting prompt service is a challenge! From a menu, while there is a small variety, and the food is average but not spectacular. Weekends have live music, but small in delivery meaning there isn't much room for the performers and inside can get quite cramped...and super loud. First off, the reviews tricked me into thinking the music only happened on weekends. Unfortunately, it seems Thursday counts as weekend. The musician was very talented, but waaaay too loud for the venue, and played lame hits of the past 60 years. Desperately praying he takes a break soon. Appetizer of crab cakes was very tasty. Good size for a table of four. Not really Maryland style, but very good nonetheless. Top notch service with wait staff friendly and attentive without being omnipresent. Small dance floor with the occasional adorable senior couple cutting a proverbial rug. I had the coconut shrimp appetizer for my main along with fries. Shrimp was good, fries could have been crispier. Others had tuna appetizer and pronounced it excellent, and the shrimp scampi which he said was good. One other dish we had was the chicken parmigiana. A bit over cooked and tough. Unremarkable. Dessert time. The menu on the website had several options, but they only have three of them tonight: lava cake with ice cream, waffles with some topping I couldn't hear, and tiramisu. We got a couple lava cakes for the table. They were very good and just right for four people. Musician update: serious stamina! Finally took a break after more than 60 minutes. Took visiting friends there. They had entertainment which was great. Got there a half hour before happy hour ended and we were able to get our first beers half price.... Nice. Had apps wings, fried pickles and grouper bites, all were great. Three of us had a cod sandwich great and the other had a burger. Great service and a fun night. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant and I will say the food was delicious. Although I ordered the shrimp with linguine on the early bird menu. Not a good choice. My friends both ordered the pulled pork meal. Their meal came with a delicious Caesar salad (you could have soup or salad) as did mine, a good portion of french fries and cole slaw. Mine came in a small cereal bowl sized serving with 5 good size shrimp and mayb a half cup of linguine. Not even a piece of garlic bread with it! Now we know pasta doesn't cost that much. Customers are sitting elbow to elbow in line one after the other. A hip's distance away is a table of at least ten people staring like you are the ones they noticed on the FBI's most wanted list on the news before they arrived. If you bring a child in they look at you as if you've brought a screaming baby on the plane and they do not want you to sit next to them! Speaking of sitting next to them, all the tables are right next to each other. No social distancing going on here what so ever! Then, if you want to hear a Garth Brooks song sung even worse than the original come here. Not only can you not talk to the person beside you because the number of people inside is SO LOUD, then someone that THINKS he can sing strums a guitar right next to your ears so loudly that not even turning off your hearing aids is any assistance what so ever!!! Furthermore, DO NOT order any red meat to be cooked a certain temperature. The kitchen CANNOT DO IT! You need to order it well to at least get it medium-rare, at best. However, the service is great and the timing of the meal is the only thing worth being there for besides the french fries. That was the only good food on any of the plates of food we ordered. We now see why we did not go back there for over two years. We will never go back again because the crowd there makes you feel absolutely UNCOMFORTABLE the whole time you are there. Stopped in with my husband to have some dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a real nice vibe in the drink menu is great I had the ginger mule and my husband had a beer and I have a great selection of beer. They have live music playing but it was nice that you could still hear everyone talk without the music drowning you out. Food was excellent with a great menu choice. This place is fun to go with friends. You can listen to some music, watch special events like Burlesque, dance and have some great food. The staff seems to be new a lot of the time, which we don't prefer, but they usually get everyone served. I only wish the place was bigger as it feels very crampy in there most times. They have a lot of regulars so most times we cannot get a seat at the bar. The food could be better sometimes but mostly its great! One night we listened as a guy just jumped in and played. He was so good, hope to see him again! I think he just told the owners he would play just to let them see and he had a great short set! He said he had just moved in the area so that's exciting! Great neighborhood place. Fabulous food. My husband and I both had the 'bowl' option. He picked blackened grouper with yellow rice with a butter lemon dip... He LOVED it... I had blackened shrimp with rice noodles and a soy/ginger/wasabi OMG. Perfectly cooked shrimp, and the rice noodles were tender/ not soggy. Black beans and white rice were awesome - tasted just like my favorite Cuban restaurant in Orlando. Plantains were different than I'm used to be were really amazing - sweet and savory at the same time with that cool caramelized exterior and creamy insides. Really great food. Great personable service and a clean well run place. I'll definitely be back. Just wish you had more menu items for people like me who don't eat animals... It's great to have local support but when dealing with an angry when hungry (Hangry) 10 year old ...we didn't expect a Kids order of chicken nuggets to take 40 mins. It came out dry cold and overcooked . Infact, they served the adult entrees before his kids meal which was ordered in ADVANCE. No drink refills were made . Tomatoe soup came out cold and clunky . Took 2 sips and couldn't down anymore. Spaghetti with meatballs was okay . Nothing memorable. Jalapeño burger was okay . This has become our go to restaurant in the small town of Apollo Beach. The owners have invested a lot of time and money into the interior, makes for a cozy inviting place to eat. Most of the servers are engaging, several of them know us by name and we don't even really have to order anymore since we are there so much! The owners are often dining and always greet us upon arrival. We enjoy the selection of drinks, salads and food the menu has to offer. Over all I enjoyed the stay but need to point a few minor things for our visit. We sat at a table near the door so we could watch the hockey game. The lighting was directly into face if I wasn't looking at TV and when looking at the tv it's uncomfortable because the high tops where people sit are directly under the tv. Makes you feel like looking at the people and I wouldn't want to sit at a High top because people have to watch me while watching the tv lol. Table was dirty when we sat my menu was faded so I couldn't read it and used my fiancé's and no napkins or silverware at table. Drinks served and still no napkins so I had to use my pants after squeezing fruit into drink. Food, the chicken wings were crispy but the Asian sauce was liquid down so it didn't stay on the wing. They could be so much more. We both ordered the Latitude salad with chicken but they were delivered with no chicken. So they had to return a few minutes later with cooked chicken. The salad and the Asian dressing were delicious and no complaints. Would definitely order again. We saw our neighbors cheesecake so we decided to split and again no disappointment. The drinks captain and coke and the Tito's and seltzer's made perfectly. We saw some other meals go out and looked delicious. So aside from some downsides we would definitely return and oh I forgot to mention their prices were more than reasonable. read more

Very subpar food. I dont understand what is so hard in using seasoning. There's salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, fresh herbs, oregano, thyme, the list goes on. And they dont use none if it! The beef tenderloin texture was amazing though, but not one lick of seasoning on it, sad. read more
