We chose to dine at Latitude Seafood at Stony Point on Thursday, 4/30, after seeing the advertised daily specials on the restaurant's website (see attached screenshot). The posting clearly lists crab legs at $19 per pound and lettuce wraps as part of the $7 appetizer specials. However, when we inquired, the manager Nathan, refused to honor the $19/lb price for crab legs, pointing instead to a separate "happy hour" menu listing them at $25 per pound. The same issue occurred with the lettuce wraps--we were charged $12 even after showing staff the advertised $7 price. This felt misleading and inconsistent with what is clearly published on their website. While our server was excellent, the restaurant's refusal to honor its advertised specials is disappointing and makes us hesitant to return. read more

We have been here many times. Latittudes never disappoints, from the hellfire shrimp to the drinks. Our favs are the hellfire shrimp, hush puppies, the fi8sh, and the tuna app and entree. I had an amazing experience here! Our server Kenzwas absolutely phenomenal and provided true five-star service from start to finish. I ordered two varieties of oysters, and the complimentary hush puppies were a fantastic bonus. The food was so good that I even ordered a crab cake dinner to go! I'll definitely be back again tomorrow--I'm only in town for a couple more days, and this place made such an impression that I'll likely bring my coworkers with me next time. I'm so confused as to why Latitude is only rated 3.4. The service was great and the food was amazing. We preferred the outdoor patio to the inside since it has a little more warmth in the decor and atmosphere and the weather was perfect on this Saturday night. For appetizers we shared the shrimp quesadilla, the coconut shrimp and the tuna sashimi. They were all delicious. The shrimp quesadilla had a good amount of shrimp and the havarti cheddar combo was so good. The coconut shrimp was light and crispy with a sweet and spicy dip and the tuna sashimi was incredibly fresh and flavorful. For entreees we got fish and chips, fish tacos and salmon tacos. Again we all really enjoyed our food. The fish tacos were probably the weakest of the entrees but they were still good with fresh pico. Just no other sauce really. The Salmon tacos also had fresh pico with a great combination of Asian slaw and wasabi aioli. The fish and chips were done well with some seriously nice size pieces. We all agreed we would order everything we got again and it was the very reasonable on price. Next time we go see a movie at westchester we will be back. read more

For appetizers we had the crab dip and the crab-stuffed mushrooms. Make reservations, as I've observed that this place tends to turn away walk-ins when it gets hectic. The food & drinks are great. We have tried almost everything on the happy hour menu, and at least one person in our group has enjoyed whatever dish we ordered, if not everyone. Our server was new, but she did her best to make everything right when we pointed out that the items hadn't arrived yet. We've been here three or four times, both with and without the kids. Dined on Saturday night with my boyfriend and his parents and we had a great experience. The service was accommodating as soon as we walked in! We asked to be seated so my boyfriend and his dad could watch the game and were given a few options. Our server Sean was great; he checked on us often, kept our water flowing, and was very personable. From what I could tell all of the servers seemed to be working efficiently as there were a few larger groups dining in. Our food was amazing as expected. It had been a while since my last visit so I knew what I wanted. The salmon dip is my favorite appetizer hands down but I always have to ask for extra chips. Everything came out fresh and was cooked perfectly. I love the fried shrimp entree as it's so filling and you can't go wrong with the sidewinder fries and Brussels. My boyfriend's crab cake sandwich was the only thing I'd never tried and it was huge. Sean told us it was over 5 oz of crab meat and it didn't disappoint. Hadn't been to Latitude in a couple of years thought I would give it a try. They wasn't a wait and they weren't crowded but it took forever for us to get our food. It took in excess of 30 minutes for the food to arrive and the food was luke warm. The server said the kitchen was backed up but with the food being cold I feel it sat in the window waiting on her. My cousin sent her plate back and asked that they reheat it. The manager never checked to see how things were, nor did anyone check with us after she sent the plate back. read more

We ended up trying this place on July 5 as we always like to try something new it was about 630 or 7 when we got there the place was not packed at all so we opted to sit outside on the patio. We didn't order any entrées, but we did order a bunch of appetizers. We ordered the hellfire shrimp, the muscles, fried calamari, catfish bites and 24 oysters with a peach crush and coke. I have only been inside latitude one time and that was several years ago so going back made the experience even more better actually getting to see the place again. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes before we ordered, but it seemed like it took about 30 to 40 minutes before our food came out. I was trying to decide on a drink, but our waitress was not very knowledgeable on what size glass the drinks came in. I opted to try the peach crush which displayed a highball glass. Our food all came at once and my drink was not in a highball glass, nor did it look like the picture that was on the table, but I wasn't worried. I didn't complain as they were bringing our food out. One of the servers started to spill the muscles which proceeded to spill all over my YSL purse that was in the chair beside me. The waitress that was helping the young man bring our food out did not even burst out with a "I'm so sorry" she just said" can I get you a napkin?" Nor did they clean the seat where the food ended up, spilling at. After that little incident, we proceeded to eat the hell fire shrimp were not spicy at all. The sidewinder fries with seasoning were beyond good. The muscles tasted a little gritty and the sauce they were cooked in was very bland. The catfish nuggets looked like they were seasoned to perfection but had no taste. The fried calamari also looked very good. It looked very well seasoned but it was not. I ended up putting salt on it three times and I still didn't taste anything. The peach crush drink was actually made pretty well. I like strong drinks, but I was just disappointed in the fact that it was in a short glass. The oysters were also good, but they were not shucked. The food overall was a 5/10 the drink was a 7/10 and I'm only giving them three stars due to the fact of them spilling food all over my expensive purse and I didn't get an apology. read more

My wife and I went there on a Sunday night and found several happy hour small plates and drink selections. Hailey waited on us and it was just a great experience all the way around. We definitely would go back to latitude seafood in the future. Additionally, they have made some internal modifications to their seating arrangements and so forth and it's much quieter and just more comfortable to sit and enjoy football games or a relaxing evening. My gripe here is with the main dishes. Truly, they are flavorless. I ordered the stuffed flounder. it was broiled and then sprinkled with seasoning. The lobster mac and cheese, tasted delicious and reheats well. The crab cakes were had little flavor, after dipped in the sauce. Still able to be eaten, nothing needed to be sent back, or thrown away - For this restaurants, the aesthetic are AMAZING, the food is edible, but not the best. Came here for happy hour and had a delightful time! We opted to sit outside because it was a pretty nice day. Our server was super sweet and informative. To eat we had: -salt and pepper calamari: seasoned well but could've been cooked a bit more. It seemed like the breading was cooked more than the calamari itself -hellfire shrimp: very tasty. I really enjoyed these! -chicken wings: we had the honey sriracha ones and they were cooked well. We did have a few wings that had hair on them. In terms of flavor the wings were more on the mild side. No spice really but tasty nonetheless. -bao buns: I feel like the pork belly was over cooked in 2 of my 3 buns. The slaw and sauce that accompanied the bao buns were delicious! -Rockefeller oysters : HANDS DOWN THE BEST ROCKEFELLER OYSTERS I HAVE HAD. Every forkful was a bite of deliciousness and flavor. I HIGHLY recommend these if you enjoy oysters. The sailors punch was okay. I was told the sangria was refreshing. Overall I would come back here. I came to latitudes at 3:25 because I have an appt 10 minutes away , so I figured I would pop in and have a crab cake sandwich and be on my way. The key was to be ready to order when the waitress came for the drink order and order simple. Glass of wine and crab cak, ordered at 3:30. . It is 4:20 and I have no food yet. I am sitting outside, didn't think I would be here this long. I just ate my food too fast as I just got it and had to run out to make my appointment. If you dine alone it will take an hour to get your food. A family of four that came in with me left with me, so it took an hour for them as well. (4 ppl:/)... the food was good and hot, but will opt for something else when I dine alone. An hour is too long to wait for a solo diner. But... very good read more
