This restaurant was super nice for its location next to the resort. We were going to go into town but we thought that the restaurant on the slips would be super fun for he kids-even if the food wasn't amazing. We're so happy we did. My kids loved that were went to eat on the "city on the water". We called the front desk and they had a golf cart take us down there too. Added fun for the kiddos. The food was decent and not too pricey. About $8 per meal so the four of us ate for $30. My kids barely ate their burger and hot dog so that was a waste but I think they just weren't hungry. My husband liked the bbq brisket grilled cheese and I enjoyed the turkey sandwich-I could have done with a little less sauce. We ate on the top level. It was windy and bright but really fun for the experience.

    Mostly under cooked batter

Skip the fish and chips batter not bonded to the fish. Fryer is set up for the chicken tenders, so those are a better choice. The big issue is when you walk to the counter And order you are asked if you'd like to tip. There is zero service, you are give a buzzer and you go pick up you food. After you are done you clear you own table. This is the same as tipping at a McD. No Restaurant should ever ask for a tip when you order! Ever!!! We will not return to this restaurant. If management is paying these employees less than minimum wage and expecting tips to make up for the gap shame on them! Hopefully an employee will comment so customers can make an informed decision.

    Awesome inside bar

This is an awesome restaurant and bar here at the Wahweap marina. Been waiting for a long time for something like this here. Since Antelope marina has been built, Wahweap has started to feel old and outdated. But finally we have some new and beautiful stuff going on here. Cold beer, great burgers, and an awesome cobb salad. Beautiful decor inside. Very new and nicely designed. Great place to come watch a game or grab a drink on the water. There are 3 or 4 flat screen tv mounted above the bar area and they can be seen from just about anywhere in the inside seating area. And there is an upstairs lounge with couches, ambient blue lighting, and high top tables. Our server told us that they seat upstairs and wait on tables up there. Or you can also just go downstairs to get a drink and go upstairs to enjoy it as well as the beautiful view. Overall the upstairs part is pretty awesome and a great place to hang out. Conclusion: this restaurant/bar is fantastic and long overdue at the Wahweap marina. Definitely come check it out if you're at Lake Powell.

I am giving 5 stars to Latitude 37 for the best location in town alone! The food isn't over the top amazing but it's still super good. With 3 generations of locals in town - our family loves this rooftop patio - which is located right on the marina. On a warm summer night it's a great place to have a cold beer, overlook the beautiful scenery and enjoy good food with friends and family. The patio is pet friendly which is always a bonus in my book!!!!! Every time I visit town this is my first choice for a night out.

Great food and super convenient to me while staying on the houseboat. Love the service and would love to see the menu expanded a bit.

I ordered the ribeye, buddy ordered the fish and chips, and son ordered the macc & cheese. Ribeye was cooked to order (medium rare) but green beans were so so for me (lots of garlic, julienne cut), onions / mushroom sauce paired with the mashed potatoes and gravy were fine but a bit much with the ribeye for my tastes. Buddy said fish and chips were good, son thought Mac and cheese were fine.

OK, so this one's a bit of a mixed review. We're tourists in town seeing the sites, and we stopped…read moreby here to have dinner. We had all been wanting steak, and this place seemed to have good yelp reviews, indicating it was a good steakhouse in town. However, when we sat down and saw the menu prices, which were much higher than had been listed online in pictures, most of the family changed their mind. They had a New York strip option (striploin) a $45 in the ribeye at $46. My wife had the country fried steak, which she said was good or equal to Cracker Barrel's. My son had the barbecue burger which he enjoyed, and my youngest daughter had the kids meal cheese burger sliders, which she liked a lot. For my part, I had a ribeye, which at $46 was a little bit steep. Having said that, if it is an excellent steak, I have no problem paying that price. However, this wasn't an excellent steak. The steak was cooked order, and that in itself was pretty epic as the steak was really paper thin and mostly fat. I'm amazed that you could make a steak that thin, medium rare (I really ordered rare, but I had seen some reviews stating to order it Rare, if you wanted, medium rare). My two issues were the steak were the thickness and the amount of fat on it. I'm not talking about marbling fat that makes a good ribeye, I'm talking about the big chunks of pure fat that most people don't eat. I've never actually seen a ribeye that had as much non-marbled fat on it, as this one did. I'd estimate that approximately 40% of the ribeye was fat. The overall flavor was fairly good, just not worth the price. This is not a steak that I would expect at a a steakhouse, this is a steak that I would more I would expect at a Cracker Barrel or a Denny's. I'd say that was pretty much overall the experience, decently good food, but definitely not worth the price. If our overall ticket had been about half the price to 2/3 of the price, I'd give this place a 4 stars. Add the current meal prices, it really sits at about a 2 1/2 star experience. The service was somewhat difficult to rate, as we had a very nice waitress who was obviously overworked and handling too much, as it took an hour to get our food(also two parties our size who came in the same time or after us, got their food significantly before us)but she was very attentive to us when she had the ability to come over. We did visualize her running around the whole restaurant, so any lapse in service really definitely wasn't her fault.

I ate several dinners and a breakfast when I stayed and loved everything I had. I tried the River Raft'n Tacos with grilled fish one night - it comes with 3 tacos full of supple chunks of perfectly grilled fish and chips and salsa on the side. The tacos were just a tad bland but still delicious and the side of salsa added the extra flavor I needed. My other dinner was one of their specials - the Southwest burger with a side of onion rings and veggie soup. This was fantastic!! The burger was flawless and tasty (not too spicy) and the onion rings were positively massive and delicious as well. The veggie soup was a bit spicy but still flavorful and hit the spot. For my breakfast I had the Horseshoe Breakfast which comes with two eggs, toast, home fries or fruit, and I chose ham for my meat. It was a great start to the day and their in-house coffee is really nice. Their unique dessert offering - the Avocado Pie - is a must when you visit!! It's light, creamy, and not overly sweet with a hint of citrus. It's like a mild key lime pie sort of and I loved it - would definitely get again. They have some traditional indoor seating as well as a patio that has garage style doors that they can open for an al fresco dining option. Decor gives off 70s diner vibes and they have really cool Grand Canyon/Colorado River paintings on the walls. All the staff were attentive and helpful - even with our large rowdy group the night before our rafting trip!

We went on a Friday at lunch in March. We had also been there a few weeks before…read more I don't usually leave 5 start reviews, but this restaurant deserves a needle-moving review and I can't think of one thing we didn't like. We shared calamari and we are calamari snobs. I wasn't expecting anything great but it really, really was. The crunchy (fresh?) batter was cooked perfectly crispy and the squid meat was not tough. They served it on top of sliced pepperocini, which we kept using throughout the meal. The sauce was delicious too. Now any chef/cook can have an off day, but if the oil is the right temp and they stick to a prescribed fry time, you should experience the same great result. My husband had the Reuben, and he is a Reuben snob. The thickly julienned corned beef made for a little bit of messy eating, but he said it was good. His sweet potato waffle fries were crisp and not too sweet. They stayed crisp throughout the meal. I believe these were frozen but they chose a great product to offer for one of their sides. No shame in a good, coated, crisp, frozen sweet potato waffle fry. I had the desert dipper (French dip to many of us.) It was topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions and the aus jus was really delicious. Not too salty and with a rich flavor without being oily. Again, a product which I would be shocked it if wasn't purchased, but they made a great choice! It doesn't rely on salt, which many chefs turn to to cover less-than-stellar food. My side was a side salad. Mixed mesclun lettuces (with the occasional wilted, icky looking leafs) that made either this batch of lettuce one day past it's prime or needed to be gone through a little closer. The salad was topped with a generous portion of very fresh cucumbers, carrot shreds, cherry tomatoes, cheese and croutons. I was pleased with the overall quality and presentation of that simple side salad. In our previous trip my husband had the quite-curated turkey sandwich and he said it was very good. I just had the truffle Parmesan fries which, like the waffle fries, were crispy and very good
