Wore the drivetrain out on my 2008 Cannondale T2, thought it just needed cleaning, maybe a new chain, but when I did that it just got worse. Took it to Latini's and Johnny recommended a new rear Cassette and Large chainring, said these tend to wear out by the third chain...and this was my third chain. He installed these quickly and efficiently and noticed the jacket on my rear derailleur cable was worn and replaced that as well. Got the bike back and it never shifted so well, even when it was new! Every shift is precise, all 9 gears work flawlessly, that never happened before on this bike! I've ridden it about 26 miles so far and couldn't be happier. read more

Extremely great service not only from the time you walk in but even calling me to let me know that it would be a little longer than they estimated instead of me waiting. Price was also fair in my opinion to fix both bikes and the repair person explained what he did as as gave good pointers on how to prevent future issues. This is a great shop. They live, breathe, and probably eat bicycles. I willingly drive from Carrollton to Plano, even when I know there's probably other places closer to me, because they're that good. I found them because my son had gotten a new bike as a gift but it was not assembled. I looked around online searching and it's amazing how cryptic or barebones most bike shop websites are. So the fact that their website is on point and clearly listed assemblies and price online really won me over. It was worth every penny to get it done right by a professional! After that initial visit I decided to see if they could fix his old bike. They fixed the brakes, and bunch of other things that were wrong and explained why it rode like garbage, got that one running better than new! They do great work at a fair price. This shop has amazing customer service. They were able to diagnose and resolve my shifter issue promptly. They took the time to explain the issue to me, and what needed adjustment. I like that this shop concentrates on repair, and not on bike sales, so they have a very honest and informative approach, answering all of the questions I had. They also offer services to professionally assemble or reassemble bikes, and various tune-up services. I will definitely return to this place for any future services. They are appointment based, but I just showed up without knowing it. He took the bike and said he would work on it when he has time. I was not in a hurry, so I told him no hurries. I discovered Latini's after going to all the other bike shops in town. The other shops were pretty much all the same, just sell stuff and get it out of here. I took a close look at the repair areas and most looked like sausage making was in progress. You never really knew who worked on your bike and what really was done actually. When you spend a lot of $$ on something, you need reinforcement in the repair/tune-up area that it's taken care of. Latini's is different by design and I like that. The owners work on your bike. Think about that. They have invested their business in their skills. Now that, my friends, is pure entrepreneurship. I will support that totally. I built a brand new bike on a Saturday and mid build, realized that my brake bleed kit was out of date. I called around to a bunch of bike shops and no one could bleed my brakes day of (I wanted to go for a test ride the next day). I called Latini's and the owner said he was very busy, but would try to fit me in. I brought my bike on and it was done in about an hour. These guys are awesome, they were really nice when I went in and I loved the small shop vibe, vs. all the big shops in town.
