I really liked this place! They had such a variety of beers that you'll def find one you like. I loved their sour ipa called contusion and my bf loved the ipa called war poet. They had about only 2 types of cans for sale. No food here but looks like you can bring your own. Friendly bar staff! The place is tiny with only 4 or 5 tables but they have a nice parking lot and grass area for when it's nice out. Hoping they expand and get a larger tap room! I'll be back to try more of their stuff soon

Quaint little brewery with very friendly bartenders. The beer selection is very IPA heavy. That's not necessarily my thing but your mileage may vary. The place is very dog friendly. That's a neutral point for me but you may have to deal with some of the issues that come along with that. I was watching a Patriots game there and one dog was going absolutely ballistic any time someone walked in. In truth, I grew a little tired of it after a few minutes. They had food delivery there on Sunday from Ordinary Joe's. I didn't order but I felt that was a nice touch. Overall, in the right scenario I think this place could be enjoyable. My feelings were a little mixed because of outside factors.

What an amazing little gem packed into an old factory building. You'd never suspect that an amazing microbrewery was right there! Visiting this place, even with Covid restrictions, was magical. Though they couldn't do flights due to Covid restrictions not allowing the glassware, I still was able to amply sample the different styles of brews they create there. The addition of food vendors made for a perfect afternoon/evening with friends to really relax and enjoy. Great atmosphere, delicious beer creations and for this visit, an amazing empanada from the Tasty Empanada of Thomaston, CT made for a perfect Saturday for me. I'd recommend going for sure!

Nice little brewery. Beer and service were great. On nice days you can sit outside and enjoy your brew. I'll definitely be back again.

It was founded by brothers Michael and David Ieronimo and their partners Christopher Urban and Kyle Ondrush. The two brothers started out as homebrewers in their mother's kitchen in the late 1980s. By 2004, David's brother-in-law Christopher and Michael's co-worker Kyle had also come into the fold. The four formed a homebrew club and brewed together out of a garage. The homebrew club evolved into a homebrewing obsession and the next logical step was starting their own brewery. They chose the name "Brass Works" as a reference to "The Brass City": the official nickname of the city of Waterbury. Kyle retired from the brewery in 2021, but the other three partners still continue to share their passion for good beer. I first visited Brass Works in June 2016. I was driving around the state visiting some breweries that were new to me. The interior of the taproom was really nice; lots of neat decorations. During my stay, I ordered a sampler flight of five beers which included: "Wee Windy English Bitter Ale", "Sweaty Sisters Blonde Ale", "Abel Porter", "Uncle Zac's Stout", and "Double Bird IPA". The latter was my favorite of the bunch; great notes of Amarillo hops! I ended up purchasing a growler of that one to bring home. Keep up the good work gentlemen!

Inside, things were quiet when I arrived, but it quickly started filling up. Service was just as impressive. My bartender greeted me with a genuine smile and gave spot-on recommendations. The food? Fantastic. Over the top. I ordered the Poutine. The fries were perfectly crispy, the queso was rich and flavorful, and the egg on my dish was absolute perfection. Everything was fresh, hearty, and designed to complement the beer list. I almost ordered the frittata (which I hear is massive) and definitely plan to try a pizza next time. Woodbury Brewing Company is a craft brewpub that opened in Woodbury, Connecticut in December 2017…read more It was founded by friends and business partners Allan Cetrone, Tim Budrewicz, T.J. D'Alexander and Ken Mair. After he found his previous employer's ethical standards unconscionable, Cetrone decided to quit and find a new line of work. He and his friends frequently got together at a backyard barn man-cave which was complete with a fridge and kegerator. Cetrone had also been experimenting with his own homebrewed beers. Once their man cave became a popular spot for family gatherings, the four friends decided to open their own brewery. The taproom has a rustic saloon aesthetic (a nod to the friends' backyard barn man-cave) complete with a stage for live musical acts to perform. In addition to the housemade beer, WBC also serves wine, cider, craft cocktails, and a large menu of delicious food from their in-house kitchen. I recently visited Woodbury Brewing Company for the first time. I had heard that they host a lot of live music acts and I purchased a ticket to see Hudson Valley-based Rush tribute band "Limelight". I'm a HUGE Rush fan, so I was really excited to see the group perform. I arrived over an hour before the show started. I had a reserved table right by the stage. There was a modest crowd when I first arrived, but the whole taproom was packed by the time the show started. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Nashville Hot GIANT Chicken Sandwich" (hot honey, cajun spice, pickles, mayo) with "Sweet Potato Fries" as well as an order of "Cheese Curds" (served w/ house-made marinara). I was totally shocked when the food finally came to the table. When they say "giant chicken sandwiches", they mean GIANT! I could barely fit the sandwich into my mouth, but it was so delicious! The sweet potato fries were equally big and delicious, and the cheese curds were really good too! Throughout my visit, I enjoyed pours of "Yummy Beers" (Double New England IPA), "Collusion" (New England IPA), and "Barrel-Aged Don't Go Romanov" (Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout). They were all surprisingly good! Limelight also gave an excellent performance to the very energetic crowd. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable evening and I'll definitely be back! I already have a ticket to another show!

And they kinda are in the best way possible. Their selection of beers is pretty amazing in that you won't find 6 different IPAs, 2 fruity sours and a lager. Here you'll find Asian style lager, black lager, 3 different pils, 4 experimental sours, a traditional Berliner Weiss, an English Bitter, and that's just their own brews. They're also an importer and offer bottles from a variety of European and Asian brewers. Walking in transports you to a European beer hall with high ceilings and long wooden tables. There's also a nice deck out back to enjoy nature and a little game room overlooking the brewery floor. I've never tried the food so no comment there. I do intend to spend a lunch hour there one day when I have an easy afternoon ahead of me. The staff there is very friendly and super knowledgeable about the product. Great spot!
