Wandering Into The Fog. Very good beer!
Alden C.

This is such a fun brewery! I love their beers and their swag both from their website shop and their Threadless shop. I've had several beers of theirs that I really liked. The fruited beers are very tasty and their IPA'S are delicious. A really fun and entertaining beer is the Toxic Earth beer as by the time you are at the bottom of the can it truly looks like you are drinking some toxic earth. The Wandering Into The Fog is an excellent IPA as well. Definitely recommend this brewery. I love the adventurous breweries and this one definitely fits the bill!

Just a few of a big selection.
Diane M.

Pop up events bring the best of both worlds. Many new flavors very up and coming check out Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more info. The Art Deco on cans captures your eyes on the shelf but the flavors will keep you coming back for more.

If you've ever had a craft beer brewed in North Haven, then congratulations; you've had a Twelve Percent-made beer already. So, why not visit the taproom and brewery? You'll be able to try their clients' beers on eighteen different rotating taps. You'll taste taproom-less beers from places like Fat Orange Cat, Eredità, Spartacus, False Hope, Abomination, and more, as well as established breweries like Tox and Evil Twin who simply needed more capacity. There's usually a food truck, and I'm sure you can bring your own food. There's usually are plenty of non-alcoholic options, as well as coffee. But come early, because the parking lot fills up fast!

12 Percent Beer Project is basically a playground for anyone who loves their beer with personality…read more The vibe hits that sweet spot between minimalist‑industrial and "yes, I could absolutely spend an afternoon dissecting hop profiles here." It's spacious, energetic, and has that low‑key hum of people who actually care about what's in their glass. Service is dialed in. The staff knows their stuff--like, actually knows it. Ask about a collab stout or a triple‑dry‑hopped hazy and you'll get real tasting notes, not the generic "it's smooth" answer you get at lesser taprooms. And the beer selection? This is where 12 Percent flexes. Rotating taps full of experimental drops, collabs with cult‑favorite breweries, and a lineup that swings from pastry stouts to funky saisons to IPAs that taste like someone squeezed a whole orchard of tropical fruit into your glass. It's the kind of board that makes you want to order a flight just to avoid FOMO. While you can't order a flight they do offer two small pours at a time and I did just that. Maybe just a time or two. I recommend you do!! Cheers

If I were a student at Quinnipiac, this would be my spot! The beer is exclusively brewed and sold on premises, so it was our first time trying it, and we really enjoyed it. Their food menu is huge, and while there's a lot of choices, we have to say they do everything well! Some elevated and international choices too that we weren't expecting, but everything we tried was fantastic, including dessert. That sampler platter is the way to go, and honestly Colten and I could've made a meal out of just that! We will absolutely be back!

The peach compote was refrigerator cold but tasty, and my waffle was room temperature. The whipped cream was perfect. I figured out that the waffle was commercially made, not in-house but it should have been served hot. I was shocked that my peaches were cold. I asked if they could be microwaved but they didn't have one. I asked the waitress to pass along my suggestion and took my food to go. Once heated at home, it went down well. The syrup wasn't warm either. Good dish but not missing the correct temperature

Skygazer is quickly establishing itself as one of the best breweries in the central Connecticut…read morearea by creating really unique and creative beers that keeps me excited for whatever they're going to churn out next. At the moment, they are only open two days a week - Thursdays and Saturdays - for can purchases only. My hope is that they'll eventually get large enough and the demand for their beer will grow enough for Skygazer to add a taproom or at least being open more than two days a week, similar to how Treehouse's increasing success over the years led to the same. Beer taste is totally subjective and they rotate through so many different varieties that it's pointless to mention any on here as by the time you actually visit, they lineup will be totally different, but what I can say is that every beer I've had from them so far has been anywhere from great to awesome to "this isn't a particular style of beer I like, but I recognize that this is a very good effort" so chances are you'll enjoy whatever you try. Here's to hoping Skygazer keeps growing and expanding going forward!

I had one of their beers from their Watercolors series. A whole bunch of variants with a whole bunch of flavors. The version I had was Banana, Cherry, Raspberry, Graham Cracker, Marshmallow and Milk Sugar. Described as a Weisse type beer I had the impression that it would be a lighter beer in body but it wasn't really as it was pretty thick and had more of the traits of a sour. Very sweet to drink which was exciting at one point and time for me with this beer type but it was something I tired of quickly as many other breweries started making these types of beers. Just a bit too sweet and thick for me to get too wrapped up with this beer.

We got the nachos with pulled pork (they had run out of brisket **sad face**) and the portion was MASSIVE. The picture I included was after 4 adults already ate some of it. The only downfall is when the band started playing, it was WAY. TOO. LOUD. You literally had to shout to the person next to you, even though we were a good distance away. It might help if they put the band in the far end next time and not in the main corner. Other than that, good service, good food, good drink, good times! P

What a fantastic place!…read more Right on the water in Coastal Connecticut just east of New Haven, with ample outdoor seating, Stony Creek Brewery is an ideal summer-time destination for excellent craft beer and a solid/creative menu of pub fare. We were here for an event: The start and finish of Bikes & Beers 2024 (Brandford, CT). Bikes & Beers tours the country year-round, offering cycling events that revolve around--you guessed it--breweries. Over the last few years, we've enjoyed weekends away across New England when they come to our corner of the country. Their events are very well organized and fun, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charities. Plus, there's beer! After our 30-mile ride in and around Branford, we joined the other riders for the after-ride event at the brewery for food and fun. That's the formula for all Bikes & Beers events. Back to Stony Creek Brewery. As I said, the setting is idyllic for a warm, sunny summer day. However, you'd find limited indoor dining/drinking space on a rainy day. I enjoyed their seasonal IPA (the only beer I drink) and found it exceptional. My better half had the grilled chicken sandwich to satisfy her hunger while she ordered a chili dog for me. IT WAS HUGE (and delicious). We didn't get to try the other interesting items on their menu, but our fellow riders said good things about theirs. Plus, a permanent guest food truck serves wood-fired pizzas that look and smell fantastic. My mouth is watering as I write this. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but we bookmarked this location so we can have a similar bikes & beers experience on our own someday. We liked it that much!
