I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a special order feed for my lactating goat. I was originally…read moretold that the store would be able to order several bags, and I placed my order. The feed was to be in either Wednesday or Friday this week. I have called the store at least 6 times to try to verify the order, requesting a call back from the owner each time. Not ONCE have I received a call back, and today when I called I was told that my "card" was lost, and the feed not ordered, and would not be available for another 2-3 weeks. I asked again for the owner to call, and again was ignored. I don't understand this blatant lack of basic customer service.

Receptionist takes my name and number down. I get a call some time later telling me my dog's groomer quit and that I was off the books indefinitely because the only other groomer was fully booked. (This is the second groomer my dog has had that quit in the recent past) I understand they are short staffed, but I had to call to find that out. I would've understood if someone reached out to notify me at some point. I was satisfied with the work they did but I don't feel they went about this the right way and left a loyal customer out to dry.

She…read moreis good with all the animals I've seen her with, and all the animals leaving her shop look beautiful. She was so good with my rescued standard poodle that Liesel eagerly jumps out of the car to go in for grooming. Not something I expected given the condition she was in when I rescued her. And although I do not get my SPoo groomed in a typical poodle cut due to our lifetyle, I have seen many other poodles leaving Pawsitive Touch looking perfectly coiffed. I have on occasion, in emergency situations, frequented other groomers, but I will continue to go to Lindsey. My furry kids love her and she fusses over them as if they were her own. As long as Pawsitive Touch is in Kings Mountain, I'll be a client.

Trusting someone with something as important and expensive as a service dog is tough, but Michelle made me feel comfortable enough to give it a go. I was impressed to say the least. Archer came back clean, healthy and smelling amazing! I am in tune with Archer on a different level, so when Archer came back to me after his groom with his tail held high in excitement, it made the decision of going back for me. As the new owner of CA B&G, Michelle and her employees are doing a great job of making this place look nice! The decor is coming together and it is starting to look like a top notch place! We wil be back!

We take our two dogs to the Dickson Animal Clinic for their Doctor Visits and for their boarding,…read morewell, recently we had kind of a not so good experience with a groomer, and this really made an impression on me. So, I called Dickson, and got our girls in. Now Blondie, She is a Cairn Terrier, Doxi, Lhasa mixed breed,(I know right?) and Bella is a Shih Tzu, and also only 2 years old until January. We don't know exactly how old Blondie is, we rescued her fully grown but young. Anyhow, so the baby, Bella, looked like one of the grouchy old men from the old Muppet Show, the ones in the balcony heckling. The groomer at Dixon not only fixed her face, she made her so adorable, and her big sister...Oh my goodness!! They are both so precious looking right now, and they smell so clean, not heavily perfumed. Their ears are free of hair paws are trimmed and filed and I am positive that their glands were done. I have put with this before and after photos... With their "opinions" they each have their own personality.

My cat Zeus had been diagnosed with diabetes and the veterinarian here prescribed Senvelgo as the…read moretreatment. As a layperson, I was not aware that Senvelgo is a high-risk medication that comes with a black-box warning from the FDA. Cats who take this medication are at high risk for developing diabetic ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. Sure enough, my cat developed it and had to be taken to a local specialty emergency hospital, where he remained for 12 days while they tried to save his life. By the 12th day, we came to the conclusion that the treatment was not working, so we brought him home. We spent over $14k at the specialty hospital in an attempt to save his life. We had him for one night so we could say goodbye, and the next morning, we had a veterinarian come to the house for euthanasia. The veterinarian at Dickson, Dr Ashley Whitesell, is the one who prescribed Senvelgo for my cat. She did not present any other options for treatment and pushed this medication as being the "best choice" for my cat. She also downplayed the high-risk nature of the medication. As a layperson, I did not know any better and took her word for it. The end result is that my cat ended up dead because of Dr Whitesell prescribed a highly dangerous medication and did not adequately warn me of the possible side effects, nor did she offer any other treatment options. I will never go back to this clinic ever again, nor will I ever recommend this clinic to anyone. As a side note, the clinic was made aware that Zeus passed away, and not once did I ever hear from Dr Whitesell. No phone call offering condolences, no email, nothing. She knew she screwed up and was too cowardly to face me. Run free, Zeus. My little BFF cat. We miss you.

He was honest that he doesn't see many guinea pigs and isn't a specialist, but he was willing to help and do his best. What really impressed me was that he took the time to review his guinea pig reference materials before prescribing medication to make sure he was using an appropriate treatment and dosage. I appreciated his honesty, care, and willingness to help instead of turning us away. While they may not have all the specialized equipment of an exotic animal clinic, they treated my pet with compassion and took my concerns seriously. I'm very grateful for the care they provided and would recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares about their patients.

Ok... I'm finally ready to talk about this…read more.. The morning I woke up and found Scully Cat lethargic, I was completely distraught. I wrapped her up in a towel and drove to the nearest clinic to me, not knowing if they could help, because it was just a spay/neuter clinic, but it was so close to my house, I just went. They were extremely kind and told me that they unfortunately couldn't help, but that Boulevard Animal Hospital was just down the road. So, I got back in my car and went straight there. When I arrived, the receptionist was very kind, I told her I was waiting on payment from a client, but Scully was actively dying in my arms. She said she'd see what they could do. After about 5 mins of waiting, they got us back into a room, the tech came and took my information and said the vet would be right with us. This is where it completely went south. Dr. Martin walked in and the first thing he said was: "Ok, I need some information, because none of this makes sense." Which was bewildering, but ok, I explained again. Scully was my foster fail from the humane society. I had stopped at a different clinic first because they were so close to me, they referred me to Blvd. And her most recent vet records were at the office I used to work at. Then, he moved onto payment. I explained again that I have a client that usually pays me Sunday nights, but she hadn't yet (this was Monday). And that I also had money from Rover that had already been released, but hadn't hit my bank account yet. "So you can pay today?" "Yes." "So they can call you this afternoon and you'll have it?" "Yes." (Keep in mind that my sweet baby is actively dying in my arms) "I really could just do it for free with all the people who never pay. I could pay everyone in the building a year's salary with what we don't get paid." "I understand, but I'm just waiting for the money to hit my bank." "Well, are you wanting her back?" "I would like her to be cremated." "Well, we definitely can't do that until you pay." "I understand, my pay has been released, I'm just waiting for it to hit my bank." "So they can call you this afternoon or tomorrow morning and you'll have it?" "Yes." FINALLY, he decided he'd asked me enough times, so he proceeded. I left absolutely broken. My sweet girl, left to suffer... over $91. The very SECOND that money hit my bank account, I started calling. I believe I called 7 times that Monday and left a message. No response. Tuesday, I called multiple times and ended up leaving a *slightly rude* message. Shortly after, I got a call for payment. I told the receptionist what had happened with Dr. Martin and how upset I was about it. Who HOUNDS someone about payment while letting their baby suffer, and then can't be bothered to take it??? Almost immediately after that call, I got another one... from Dr. Martin himself "apologizing" for the situation. It wasn't an apology at all, it was damage control. He ended up telling me: "At the end of the day, it's a business." Sir, your business is compassion. If you can sit and watch an animal suffer because you're worried about a $91 payday, you've lost the plot. (I do have a recording of the conversation, if anyone wants it, they are welcome to message me.) To add insult to injury, there was a miscommunication with the crematorium, somehow... They changed her name from Scully to "Sally" so I've got that nice little momento. Not to mention the horribly smudged paw prints I was sent. Please, if you care for your pets, don't take them to see Dr. Martin. He does NOT care. After all, at the end of the day, it's just a business.
