I took my large breed dog in for grooming. He was shedding profusely. I do brush him often but…read morecould not keep up with it. He had some matting behind his ears but not a lot. I try to cut out any that I find. My dog is well cared for. Anyway, I received a call from the groomer. She said they would not be able to get him dried if they gave him a bath. I took him in at 8:30 A.M. She said he had difficulty standing. (Of course he does, he is a large breed and gets tired.)She said she was able to shave him, mostly on the floor. (I've seen videos of other groomers doing that.) Essentially, they did not want to continue with him. She even shaved his tail!!! My dog's beautiful, fluffy tail looks like an extra appendage! You don't shave a dog's tail.! There are long tufts of fur that were missed and the shaving was uneven. I went to pick him up and they charged $250!!!! They charged double what I would have expected for a complete grooming package. This was an incompetent, lazy, incomplete job. Then, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip! (Incredulous!!) Anyone that operates a business needs to learn that, they do not "work for themselves;they work for the people paying them, ie., the customers. The facility was also rather offensive with odor as soon as I walked through the door. (I've been to other groomers and have never been met with bad odors, especially upon entry.) Perhaps, of you have a small pet, the experience may be fine. Otherwise, stay away from Bubbles Bath and Beyond.

I am always looking for a grooming place to take Archer (my service dog) and I have found the…read moreplace! Trusting someone with something as important and expensive as a service dog is tough, but Michelle made me feel comfortable enough to give it a go. I was impressed to say the least. Archer came back clean, healthy and smelling amazing! I am in tune with Archer on a different level, so when Archer came back to me after his groom with his tail held high in excitement, it made the decision of going back for me. As the new owner of CA B&G, Michelle and her employees are doing a great job of making this place look nice! The decor is coming together and it is starting to look like a top notch place! We wil be back!

Most places first ask about if our pitbull is aggressive and can it be around other dogs but not this owner! She was saying how excited to be having a pitbull come in and that did it for me! Fantastic! That's the best word to describe Amber and her wonderful team. Love your fur babies?…read morePrefer they get groomed in a gentle and loving environment? Prefer they not spend their time in a teeny tiny crate? If you said YES, then this is where you need to go. I found this place through referrals from my neighbors, and I couldn't be happier. The set up is great, though it can be tough to spot on your first time in. They're at the roundabout for Morrison Plantation - behind the Mountain outdoors store and Brewsters Ice Cream, between a nail salon and the popcorn shop. It's small and unassuming but also very intimidate. The dogs are always smiling when I go in there - if you have a dog you know what I mean by "smiling!" Rather than crate the doggies, Amber and her team let them stay in the shared open area behind a nice gate so they don't escape through the front door. Her prices are reasonable, and they will bath or groom your fur baby however you like it. They are very accommodating. They also offer add on services like nail painting and tooth brushing for a nominal price. My fur baby is always excited to see me when I pick her up, but I know she's been treated well because she doesn't miss a beat when we pick her up. No more scared or shaking baby! That's how I know they're loving. I also happen to know that the owner is a true lover of animals. She regularly fosters dogs in need, and often brings her fur babies for a play date. All the doggies get along, and take it from me, because admittedly my fur baby is antisocial with other dogs but does fine here. I'm particular about her haircut - short around the mouth, no perfumes added, no mustachy cut (she's a poodle and sometimes the teddy cuts look like a mustache to me,) and be patient and gentle with her. The girls here always cater to my requests so I always make sure to tip because they're prices are reasonable and they go the extra mile. I'm very happy with them!
