I would recommend LasikPlus to anyone for Lasik eye surgery. I had a wonderful experience, and am seeing better than I ever have before. I had a free consult about two weeks ago, and was told I was a good candidate for Lasik. My eye sight wasn't terrible (-1.0 in both eyes, I believe), however I was getting SO frustrated with glasses and contacts, etc. I scheduled Lasik for this past Saturday, and am SO happy I did! I see some reviews on here stating that the $250/eye deal is not real, but I can confirm it is, as that is what I paid. All in all, with the necessary drops (prescription and OTC), I was out the door for under $600. And it was - by far - the best $600 I've ever spent. My surgery was scheduled for 8 am Saturday morning, and I was home napping by 9:30. When I woke up around 2:30 in the afternoon, I could see perfectly! I had my follow-up the following Monday morning, and am healing well - and am seeing better than 20/20. The surgery itself is quick, easy, and relatively painless. There is burning after, when you get home, but I napped through it, and when I woke up, the pain was gone. During the surgery, Dr. Wills walks you through each and every step, which makes it much less stressful than it could be - and it's done in under 15 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Wills and LasikPlus to absolutely anyone; I am so, so happy having had Lasik done with them. read more

!CAUTION! LONG REVIEW AHEAD:) LasikPlus has been the definition of end to end patient service. From the initial phone call, I was treated with courtesy and respect. The customer service representative was able to get me in for an appointment the very next day (keep in mind, I called at about 7:30pm). From the moment I walked in to the office, the front end staff was very kind and overall positive. Once I saw the Dr. Christo, I was convinced that this is where I wanted to have my vision corrected. I am eternally grateful to her for not immediately clearing me before thoroughly checking my eyes. She actually saw something odd in my left eye and immediately referred me to a retinal specialist. I have been through tons of eye examinations and NOT ONE of those doctors raised a red flag on my left eye. It turns out, I had not ONE but THREE Horseshoe Retinal Tears in my left eye, which could have ultimately lead to complete blindness! After having those tears repaired by the retinal specialist, I was cleared for PRK Surgery. On the weeks leading to my surgery, I received calls and emails making sure I was ready for my surgery. Any and all questions were answered as well. On the day of my surgery I was beyond nervous but the staff did a great job calming me down. The girl who took care of my paperwork had the same surgery and was very thorough about the phases I would be going through, as well as the meds and drops I was going to receive. After my vision was checked once more by another doctor, I finally got to meet Dr. Wills (my surgeon). Dr. Wills was super sweet and made sure I understood EVERYTHING I needed to know before, during and after the surgery. He was very clear about the importance of each and every step and he did it all with such grace and care. During my surgery, Dr. Wills talked me through the entire procedure. He made sure I was calm and comfortable. This made the experience 10000 times easier. When it was done, i was so excited, that I could have hugged him:) He was genuinely excited for me and made sure everything was where it should be. That night he also called me to see how I was doing and to answer any additional questions I may have had. He also gave me additional suggestions to ease any discomfort I may have felt. I have never had a doctor do that and it was super comforting. Overall I would recommend LasikPlus to anyone and everyone looking into vision correction, especially with extremely high prescriptions and/or astigmatism (I had both). Im pretty excited to say that I had lasik surgery with Dr. Wills. The staff here is great they took care of me from start to finish. I was pretty nervous in the beginning because of the amount of videos I watch of lasik surgery. When I arrived they talk over all the paperwork and started to prep me for the surgery. I had my initial consultation and my follow-up at the Tysons Corner location, but had my procedure at the Alexandria location because they had an opening that better fit my schedule. At both locations, I had excellent experiences and received excellent care. Dr. Neil Wills was my doctor and I could not say better things about him. He called me after my consultation to make sure I didn't have any follow-up questions and was extremely good about addressing all of my concerns without an ounce of impatience or condescension. The day of the procedure, everything went incredibly smoothly and I could see pretty much immediately. Recovery was also quick and easy. I had my procedure on a Saturday morning and was surprised to get a call on Sunday from Dr. Wills to check up and see how I felt and whether I had any questions. I was very impressed with the level of care and service I received from the doctor himself as well as the entire staff. Everyone I interacted with at LasikPlus--both Tysons and Alexandria--was extremely kind and friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and in good hands from the start. Very efficient at getting patients in and out. I came earlier this year for a consultation. Literally, the next day I was getting the procedure performed. I had to agree to the procedure the day of my consultation in order to get the procedure done at a discounted rate. For the most part, everything with smoothly. I had the procedure done. I left that night and came back the next morning for a follow-up. I was late to ym follow-up and the office was closed. Lucikly one of the employees there saw me trying to come in and called the eye doctor. The eye doctor returned to the office just to do my follow-up. I really appreciated it because it wasn't there fault that I was late. Anyway, the pain lasted about 12 hours and after that I started to see clearly. And when I say pain, I mean more like discomfort. I used my FSA to pay for most of the procedure and the rest I paid out of pocket. But they do have financing options. I would recommend this location. Dr. Wills, who performed the surgery, is very approachable and helpful. He made me feel very comfortable and his experience doing the surgeries was reassuring. read more

I just got Lasik on 01/31/2020 and I am already loving my new sight. The process was very easy and all of my questions were answered beforehand making it a very easy and trusting experience. Dr. Reinhardt spotted a hole in my eye when i went for my consultation and had my best interest at heart; got me in the Retina specialist office that same day so I could be clear to get my surgery on the 31st. I can see clearly now! I am very touchy about my eyes, I was only able to start wearing contacts 5-6 years ago. But a pending involuntary visit to a very primitive country courtesy of Uncle Same finally motivated me to pull the trigger. Dr Wills is an amazing doctor. He made me feel 100% comfortable, detailing every step of the procedure as it was happening, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. After wearing glasses/contacts for 15 years, this is truly life changing. The two things I would recommend to anyone getting this procedure is: 1) take the sleeping pill before you even leave the office. If the numbing drops wear off before you are able to fall asleep (as it happened for me) you will have a VERY miserable 6 hours. The burning is pretty intense and the sleeping pill will make you go a little crazy if you have the medicine but aren't able to fall asleep. Because of this... 2) make sure that there is someone who will be staying with until they are 100% sure you are asleep. I had to try to call someone using Siri because I could not open my eyes. Not a great experience. All of this being said, I would still go through the procedure for this amazing eyesight I now have. Just do it already!! read more

The whole process for me was very good and not as typical as some of the other reviewers. I had Lasik on one eye and PRK on the other. Instead of Dr. Wills performing Lasik on both eyes, he thought it would be in my best interest to get PRK on the weaker eye which I appreciate. Sometimes it's not about what you want but what is better for your eyes years from now. The price was the same per eye. For me, with insurance and a website coupon, I paid roughly $3600 for both eyes and the preservatives. Flexible spending was extremely helpful. Each procedure was quick and as long as I followed the post-op directions, my eyes are healing and I'm at 20/20 after a month. During the follow ups I've asked a lot of questions and they gave me time to answer them. I do like the proximity to the King Street metro station and I would recommend this location to others. read more

I came here on referral from a friend who loved it and I have no complaints. It is true they have a streamlined process but it isn't a negative thing... They still make it personal, you don't feel like a toy on an assembly line. I like the staff. I really felt confident when I went to Kaiser to get the prescription eye drops and my pharmacist was like "Dr Wills is great! He did my LASIK!" And I was like okay... That independent, unprovoked assessment really made me feel good about it. The procedure is relatively painless... The 6hr recovery after is not, but it's 6hrs and they give you a prescription for Ambien to sleep. I am on day 8, and the recovery process has been just about exact for what they described / prepared me for. I can see, and that feels great. read more

There isn't a thing I would change about my experience with LasikPlus and I tell everyone that this was the best investment I've ever made. This office particularly was beyond great and did such an excellent job informing me and educating me on the entire process, from the preperation weeks before surgery, during the surgery what I could expect, and what would happen post surgery. Update 7/15/15- it has been three months and my eyes have healed fine. I am driving at night and occasionally the small halos from car headlights are there but nothing unbearable. Its been 24 hours since I had my procedure done yesterday and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff was friendly and the office was clean. Another added benefit is that they validate garage parking for patients.
