I booked with Destiny and had a pre-consultation. I told Destiny several times that I did not want thin brows. Before we started, I even offered to show her a picture, but she said she understood. Unfortunately, my brows were extremely thin when we finished. I had a lot of hair to work with since I hadn't had them done in a while, so I was surprised by how much was removed. The shape was also much thinner and more uniform than I wanted. Now I have to wait for them to grow back. I understand there can be a disconnect with brow shaping, but I feel like I was very clear with Destiny about what I wanted. Now I have to wait for them to grow back. Overall 1/10 experience.

I became a client of Natasha's in 2010 when she worked in downtown LA. You can find a decent skin care professional in many places, but it is rare to find someone like her. Natash has provided me with exceptional services for waxing, facials and eyelash extensions with consistent excellence for years. I now live in Orange County and still make the drive to Pasadena to see her. In years of waxing, Natasha has always exceeded my expectations. Let's face it, waxing isn't always the most comfortable thing to do (oh, hello stranger, here is my unwanted hair in an unwanted place, please get right in there and rip it out). Natalia is disarming. When she's waxing, I've always felt completely comfortable and at ease. I once joked with her, "Oh my GOD, how do you do this? What if someone is dirty, or gross, or they smell!" She responded, "There are no smelly bodies, only smelly personalities." This is a perfect example of her approach to her business. She's not judging your hairs or your body, she's helping you because she wants to. She truly enjoys the work and endeavors to continue to grow and learn more about new approaches and techniques daily. Even though Natasha's skills are already advanced, she actually carries a notebook with her to and from work with new ideas, notes from her studies with her mentor (she's been doing this and certified for years, but yes, still studies with a mentor), research, and product knowledge. She's also very thorough with her waxing and makes it as painless as possible. Working as an esthetician is not just a job for her, it's a career, a passion, and a set of skills that she is constantly working to hone. Natasha introduced me to eyelash extensions. I LOVE THEM. She created extensions for me that look stunningly natural. I say stunningly because if anybody had lashes like this in real life, I'd find it hard to believe. However, they do not look like I have fake eyelashes on! They look like I have gorgeous, full, perfectly positioned natural lashes. It's unreal. I don't really need makeup anymore. I used to spend a considerable amount of time in the mornings applying eyeshadow, applying eyeliner, smudging eyeliner, curling my lashes and applying mascara. Now, I slather on some sunscreen, blush and powder and call it good. I've even had men and women tell me that I look great and want to know what I'm doing different. Some say life looks better through lash extensions, my snooze alarm in the morning and I agree. Maintenance for the extensions is very easy. All that is needed is gentle washing and combing (don't worry, Natasha will provide the special comb). I initially thought the lashes would be a one time splurge. I'm so pleased with the lashes and the experiences they've given me that they are now a necessity. The lash extensions make life as a woman much easier. You can even go swimming right after having them applied. With the extensions Natasha gave me, I gain the right kind of attention, feel pretty and it's effortless. Natasha values her clients and their time. She always responds promptly to requests for appointments, is on time and completes services in a timely manner without it feeling rushed. Nothing upsets me more than making an appointment with someone and then having to wait ten or fifteen minutes after I'm scheduled to get started. When someone does that to me, I feel like they are telling me my time isn't valuable--or at least, not as valuable as theirs. In the time I have been a client of Natasha's, Natasha has always responded to requests for appointments within 30 minutes and has NEVER been late for an actual service (And I frequently make appointments later in the day after work--she must stay on track all the time). Having established my accolades for Natasha's drive, technical skills and professional approach, I want to point out what I feel makes her most unique. As previously stated, you can find a decent skin care professional in many places. What really sets Natasha apart is her hospitality. I think this is a result of who she is as a person (her warm nature, drive, honesty, compassion for human beings as a whole). I have rarely encountered any kind of service professional with the ability that Natasha has to put her clients at ease, identify and fulfill their needs, make them comfortable and NOT make it seem like it is a chore. Sure, there may be some other people out there they can make you look great, but not many can be at the top echelon of their execution/technical skills and also make you feel great too. I highly recommend Natasha for waxing, facials and eyelash extensions. I can't wait to see where her abilities take her in the future, and I feel lucky to be a client of hers so I can experience her future growth firsthand. And seriously, she must be worth it for a drive from OC to Pasadena, right??? =) read more

SOOOO I had to come back to Lashitude and get my lashes done again! This time I got the volume full set which I absolutely love. They look and feel very natural. Lili made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process which took a couple hours. She was verbal in all the steps she was taking, which I really enjoyed since you eyes are closed the entire time. At the end, she handed me the mirror and asked if there was any area I thought needed more or less lashes. Ive always wanted eyelash extensions but was always worried about it. I found out about this place on a FB promo, and decided to try it. The receptionist was the sweetest even after I CANCELED my apt once. Once I got here it was so easy to find and not to mention its cutest decor. Michelle is the one who did my extensions and she was so gentle I fell asleep, twice. It took about 2.5 hours which was long but I was asleep majority of the time anyways. I had a great experience with Lashitude yesterday. The office was easy to find and the receptionist was very helpful and sweet. She offered me coffee which I gratefully accepted :) Michelle did my lashes and was a pleasure to talk to. I asked for very natural looking lashes and she delivered! She is a licensed esthetician, and has extensive lash extension-specific training. Her touch is so gentle that I have fallen asleep during many of my appointments lol. She offers customized lash extensions ranging from natural looks to high volume. I opt for a light volume style with a subtle cat eye, which I find to be natural yet glamorous. I took an involuntary break from lash extensions from March to July due to the pandemic. Lash fills are needed every 2-3 weeks, so of course, all of my extensions eventually came off during that time. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my natural lashes were unscathed and looked the same, if not better, than before I started getting extensions. I currently drive 2 hours round trip to get my lashes done by Taylor-she is THAT good. Do yourself a favor, and make an appointment.

My request is a cat eye going from a size 7-8-9 with the longest lashes at the end. Feeling the weight of lashes is a hard no. By going for a more natural look of 1 lash attached to 1 of my own lashes. If you want a bushy look they can clamp on 2-3 clusters of lashes which makes their job easier and faster, but will result in obvious bald spots when they naturally come off in a few weeks.
